Got the chance to come here again and try some new things. I got the bacon breakfast burrito. It was crispy, piping hot, and delicious. It was well balanced and a great filling start to the morning. A cute little shop in downtown Spokane! This place had a good crowd on Saturday morning but the place has quite a fair amount of seating and a variety and dare I say a good coworking space in the back? Despite the crowd the line moved fairly quickly. Some of the stand outs were bagel sandwich and the avocado toast. The bagel was filling! They did this interesting thing in which they chopped up the bacon. It was good but perhaps a tad too salty. The avocado toast was also a hit and that's big considering how trendy it is now. Was walking the downtown area and in need of coffee. I remember this coffee place being great last time at the other location so I went again. Decided to try the butterscotch latte with oat milk, and lemon vanilla latte with soy milk. I liked how they don't charge for alternative milks. The flavors were very faint, they were a perfect sweetness but I didn't taste lemon or butterscotch at all. I also got a breakfast sandwich, which I think the price was excessive. It was about $12 for a bagel with a little cheese, an egg, spicy mayo, and arugula. It was good but not worth the amount for what's in it. After buying the things, the girl taking my order was super rude. Didn't say anything, even after I said thank you she just said "yup". Inside was nice and super cool to see lots of seating. I was in Spokane for a few days and stopped into indaba four times. Hands down my favorite coffee spot in downtown Spokane. And -- even better -- they've got unquestionably THE BEST avocado toast I've ever had. The best avocado toast my boyfriend ever had and the best avocado toast eaten by the lady at the table next to ours who also kept returning just to eat it. I'm addition to mashed avocados, the toast features tasty sprouts and pickled onions which combine to make a fresh, savory, spicy, delicious treat. By comparison, the veggie burrito was just okay -- but that doesn't even matter because you can always get the spicy avocado toast. Service was great. Ambience in the rear seating section was also perfect for working on a laptop - so it feels like one area is more social and the other is more studious. read more

I asked it was fresh, the girl says, "Yeah, it was made three hours ago." WHAT?!?! Needless to say, it was awful. The staff are SO LOUD. I can hear every single word they say from quite a distance. Whether they're speaking to customers or one another, they are just so loud! Not sure why they can't talk instead of yell everything, but it's just awful. And they must be throwing things around because there are crashed and bangs of dishes, or what have you, constantly. I moved to as far away as possible, in the back by the bathroom. Still. Every single word... Sometime they actually yell! "WHAT?! That's SO crazy! Seriously, oh my God! Wait, were you here yesterday? Oh MY GOD, you look JUST like this OTHER person! Yeah! That is SOOO crazy! For real, oh my God! {insert howl of laughter] Wait, do "you know how to make that one? I swear, I totally can NOT remember. That's SO funny. Can you do that thing with your eyes? The massive windows are awesome for natural light. Free wifi that's pretty fast and lots of places to charge devices. Street parking can be hard to find but not the worst, there are plenty of paid lots around. Nothing crazy spectacular, but nice folks and pretty good food and drink. The ambiance is lovely - a clean, artistic, spacious vibe. They feature local artists and serve up the best artisan coffee I've tasted. This coffee shop is super cute with plenty of seating from barstools at the coffee bar, to communal tables, to smaller tables. So, whether you're looking to work alone or in a group, Indaba is good option for you. There are also some toasts and small bites for those who are hungry. I had a spicy iced chai. It was a bit too spicy for my tastes, but that's on me. I should have asked about how spicy it was before ordering it. Everyone working here couldn't have been nicer.
