The best coffee in town. Such a delicious babka and our coffee was out of this world. Service - A+. Thank you for being in the community.

Service is good. My Americano was good. Soft background music. Clean. Nice corner windows of the street. I had the mango donut. It was gross. Hard, cold and flavorless. I assume all the donuts are the same. One bite and $5.60 thrown in the trash.

Absolutely loved my experience at Cedar Coffee! I had a mocha made with their artisan Belgian dark chocolate syrup--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The barista was fantastic, asking how I preferred the flavor--less sweet or more coffee-forward--and nailed it. The drink was exactly what I wanted. The shop was clean, cozy, and welcoming, with cheerful, attentive service that made the visit even better. Can't wait to go back!

Came to the area to get a hair cut and had an hour to kill, stopped in to Cedar coffee for a cuppa and a bite. You've got to try the fresh Babka! The almond milk flat white was the best I've had in North America, very smooth. Cedar Coffee roasts their own beans. The proprietor stated when asked, "What are you known for?" his reply, "The best coffee in Spokane!" was no lie! What are you doing at S-buc? Get your bum down to Cedar Coffee you'll never settle for anything else after! Clean bright atmosphere, nice ambiance, friendly service and great coffee; you won't be disappointed

Once in a while you wander into a place that leaves you feeling fortunate to have experienced it. That is the case with this gem, Cedar Coffee. Immediately when walking in you can tell ownership prides themselves in their business. From the very thought out layout, ambience and subtle music in the background, this place just hugged you as you walk in. We were immediately greeted with a smile by the barista. We ordered a Turkish coffee, something we had never tried. This was when the owner appeared from the back room excited to share how to drink a Turkish coffee and explained the differences from standard coffee. You could tell he took pride in his heritage and business. He was very thoughtful and kind to make sure we had an awesome experience. I highly recommend going off the beaten path to experience Cedar Coffee. You won't regret it!

This is a cute, little corner coffee shop with street parking all around and a small parking lot in the back. It is quite clean inside and the wallpaper is beautiful; I love the white-and-black aesthetic. It is oddly relaxing inside even though it is right next to a busy street. There's a front room and a back room. The front room has several small tables along the wall with 2-3 chairs at each. There's also a bathroom in the corner that requires a key. The back room can be reserved for a cost and was closed off when I went. The first thing I noticed about their menu on the blackboard was that there were no prices. They have the typical coffees, teas, and a wide variety of milk substitutes. On the counter, there is a paper menu that states each price point. A 12 oz chamomile tea (loose leaf) was $4. The tea was good... nothing special, but not bad. The service was fast and friendly. There was free Wifi for those need it.

Went here on a lazy Monday vacation morning while waiting for a table to open up at Bruncheonette nearby. Ambiance is bright and open, service friendly and attentive. Piano instrumentals of Whitney and Adele playing softly make for a calming atmosphere. Most importantly, the coffee was great! Had a honey lavender iced coffee. Most flavors are made in house, cold brew as well. Didn't get a tea but their menu looks extensive and almost made me give tea a try :) And hey, it seems the shop is Ukrainian owned and ran by refugees from the war, which makes it easy to like. But first, tasty coffee and great atmosphere!

My intended coffee stop was closed and so I wandered into Cedar Coffee instead, and I am so glad I did! I enjoyed it so much I went back the next day. It's location on a busy street makes parking a small challenge. And the Monday I stopped in the one guy (the owner?) was the only one working and it was busy, so it took a little longer than your typical chain. But it is worth having the patience! He makes a delicious cup of coffee and I really enjoyed the artisanal flavors. I'm a sucker for cardamom.

I stopped in Cedar Coffee while our running errands with my almost 2 year old. We loved it! The atmosphere was calming, the staff was so friendly and kind and the coffee was good. I got my daughter a kids chocolate milk and the price was so reasonable. The place was very clean and felt so welcoming. I will definitely be coming back here!

Excellent service, very nice ambiance and good coffee. The road is torn up right now, but you can get in from the side road. Park and walk over.

It is as good as coffee can get on a normal scale. Even left with a bag of beans for home.

(Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!

My daughter had the kids spaghetti with chicken added, and she confidently declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had... so there! Overall, a great experience with standout service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well. Hatch beaker + burr transcends all of these. I never expected that I would find one of the best lattes I've ever tasted in Spokane of all places after being a Portland/Seattle coffee elitist. The seasonal dulce de leche iced latte was so strong in the best way and brought me back to life with how flavorful it was. Seven dollars even and worth every penny. You can see in the attached photos that I really tried to get every drop of the drink. It was so good that I got another latte to go (cardamom), also so so good. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was.
