Love the gift shop section of this store and coffeeshop just as much as the drinks they offer. So many cute and silly stickers, useful goods, gifts and cards, not to mention their loose leaf tea and coffee beans selections for sale. Cashier said many of their staff design the stickers. Molasses cookies are a must!

Saranac Public House earns a solid 4 stars from our experience. From the start, the service stood out--friendly and welcoming over the phone when taking our pickup order, which set the tone right away. When we arrived, the customer service at the bar for pickup was just as great--smooth, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. The food definitely delivered. The pretzel was excellent, paired with a crazy good mustard that took it to another level. I ordered the curry, and it was a fantastic dish--rich, flavorful, and downright delicious. My daughter had the kids spaghetti with chicken added, and she confidently declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had... so there! Overall, a great experience with standout service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

Atticus Coffee and Gifts combines two of my favorite things: a great gift shop and a great coffee shop. And out of all the new businesses I visited in 2025, this was my favorite. (Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!

This coffee & gift store is super cozy and welcoming! Its location downtown makes it convenient for a nice stroll in the city or through the riverfront park right across the street. My wife and I ordered a mocha and an iced americano. Very good. Coffee aside, the baristas are a joy to talk to and definitely a great way to start your day. I highly recommend a visit here!

Cute market/coffee shop. Coffee is in the back of the shop but peruse the fun stuff they have in the market in the front. I got an iced latte which was good. Was looking to get a smoothie as well but no smoothies here. Staff did offer a suggestion for a nearby smoothie which I thought was nice. It was just off the riverwalk so easy to get to by foot. Not a ton or seating but we got it to go. Good stop.

This was a super cute coffee spot. I loved the fact that they had a gift/book shop attached to the cafe. The wall decor that included dozens of pages of To Kill A Mockingbird pasted on their walls was awesome to see. The coffee itself was ok. I'm personally not a fan of Monin syrups and would've preferred house made flavors. This was something that I feel I could just make at home

Loved this coffee shop. Half coffee shop, half local findings. Cute store with a lot of local stuff. The staff was friendly and welcome and helpful. The girl was kind enough to make me her favorite latte. In a great spot too.

Hands down the best coffee shop I have ever been to. Came here the first day of my trip and have now been by for breakfast every day since. Staff is friendly and upbeat. Service is on point and has been consistent. Food and drinks are the absolutely the best. I know I'm from California and have not tried the world famous bagels of New York but these are hands down the best bagels that I have ever had. The French Toast bagel has been my favorite and the Iced Vanilla Lattes and Iced Mochas are rich and flavorful. The gift shop has fun things to buy with a lot of local things to grab as gifts or souvenirs, and the decor in here is a lot of fun. Parking looks easy and convenient although we walked here every day from our hotel.

I always love coming here. You can shop for gift for yourself or friends and family and drink amazing coffee. I met a friend here for coffee to catch up. I had an amazing white chocolate and maple spice latte. It was delicious!!!! Great atmosphere and everyone is so kind. Close to Riverfront Park, shopping, restaurants. Check out Boo Radley's next door! Highly recommend!

I stopped by after checking out the falls. The food & drinks were yummy, and it was a great spot to chill for a bit!

Stopped in after a long walk in the park for a midday pick-me-up, and so glad we did. Not sure if the retail side is a separate business or part of the same operation, but the space is shared between a charming, hip coffee shop and a refreshingly un-kitschy gift shop. Both were super LGBTQ+ friendly, fun, and full of personality. I ended up buying a great hat from the shop, and then my wife and I grabbed a couple of iced coffees before hitting the road. The drinks were delicious--and surprisingly affordable, which is rare these days. No complaints. Keep doing what you're doing!

Store, decor, menu are all excellent to experience. Located in the heart of town and clearly a location for that locals congregate to. Ordered a large latte, inquired about the beans which they believed were a med/dark roast. Latte was hot and made with care. Unfortunately the beans had a bitter bite after each drink which wasn't my favorite. I will be back to try another hot drink, I'm sure my experience was an outlier. Again, the staff was great. Kudos to one of the barristas, they walked onto the area where customers sit/stand to help a vision impaired customer find a seat. Warmed my heart. Will be back next visit to Spokane for another drink.

LOVE the atmosphere!! Books, gifts, coffee, pastries and sandwiches...need I say more? I ordered an iced chai (made perfectly) and a ham a Gruyère sandwich....oh my gosh. Sooo good. Customer service was EXCELLENT. I will definitely be back!
