Woman and veteran owned scratch bakery. Delicious bread and authentic New York style bagels!! Once you've had these bagels you won't want them from anywhere else. French press coffee. Delicious coffee cake.

Poppyseed bagel and fresh French Pressed coffee.

Love this place! Great bagels and their coffee was a freshly made French Press that smells and tastes great! You can really tell it's all made in house. And the downstairs is really cool too! Check it out!

Pretzels!!

What a delight to see the new location for Twenty Seventh Heaven in Downtown Spokane at 105 S Madison!! The menu continues to be a whole lot of deliciousness! The bagels and coffee cake are our family's favorites AND never a loaf of bread made by anyone else can be found in our home! Being small business owners ourselves, we understand the JOYS as well as the challenges! Kudos to Lydia, the owner and Mike, her staff member for bringing wholesome goodness to the area! Wait til you check out Twenty Seventh Heaven's new space on the lower level!! This new building has quite a history and hanging out to chat, browse the web, or just enjoy your favorite treat will be extra awesome down there!! We can't wait to see Lydia back up and smiling behind the counter - she just had surgery on the 14th. Thankfully, baked goods are available at My Fresh Basket AND she will be open on Small Business Saturday, November 26th!! Pop in and enjoy the work of a Whitworth grad & former Officer in the Navy! ENJOY!!

The coffee was smooth, rich, and easily one of the better cups we had in Spokane. Service was friendly and fairly quick, and the shop has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great spot to grab coffee and hang out. Definitely a must-visit for coffee lovers in Spokane!

AMBIANCE Parking: Downtown parking is downtown parking thus requiring some patience. There is some street parking and garage parking nearby. Seating: Inside seating, plenty of cozy nooks and tables, with room for about 40-50 people. Vibes: You gotta love Spokane. A growing town but a small town feel. The spot itself feels like a love letter to books and community with that old soul essence. You walk in and your senses are welcomed from the aroma of coffee and the hustle and bustle of employees and customers moving around. One side you'll see the cafe but a good portion is a lot of shelves with books and gifts. A very stimulating space, great place to study or get work done. CAFES & RETAILS Cold Brew - Hazelnut (Recommend) They have these house brews with selective flavors. I got a staple hazelnut that provided a nice nutty earthy feel. The coffee was strong as it kept me up for a busy day. Retails (Recommend) I didn't get anything but if my luggage had room I probably totally would have. Great range of books and creative thoughtful gifts (bookmarks, candles, and trinkets). CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and welcoming. The staff contributes to the warm atmosphere and makes the space feel approachable. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good coffee, cozy vibes, and a sense of community that makes you want to stay awhile. Atticus isn't just a coffee shop but a neighborly space that brings the locals and visitors together. If you're in Spokane and need a place to relax, come through! TIPS: * Take your time and browse the books and gifts, and enjoy the specials!

If you only have one stop in Spokane, make it this one…read more I stumbled in off the street on a Saturday, visiting from out of town and looking for a place to hunker down, do some work, and enjoy a real cup of coffee. Indaba didn't just check the boxes, it made me wonder why every coffee shop doesn't operate this way. Walk in and the space stops you. Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well. Before you leave, browse the retail wall. Solid selection of beans to take home, plus some genuinely cute goods worth picking up. This place has real soul. You'll feel it.

The thing that impressed me the most, besides the treats, was the young man behind the counter. His customer service was point on, made me feel like he was paying attention. It was fairly busy when we came in, but there was no line at the counter, and it didn't take long for our drinks to come out. There's plenty of seating inside, and everybody seems in a good mood and everybody seems like they're having a good time. They were also baking some kind of bread, and it just smelled absolutely incredible. Although I didn't have any. They also do this thing where they give people... At least certain people... Free coffee. Which I thought was really cool and really generous of them. So why four stars instead of five? And this isn't exactly their fault, but parking sucks. It's street parking, there's a meter, there is a lot but it's confusing and the rules are confusing. So if you're walking from somewhere else this place is great, if you're driving in to meet for coffee it's a little bit annoying, if you just want to stop in and get something to go, it's going to be a big hassle. But would definitely be back.
