    Hand pie, Americano

Tasty coffee and delicious pie. This was a great spot to spend a sunny afternoon in Kendal Yards. The biscuits and gravy handpie was amazing, although mine wasn't quite warmed all the way through. But that didn't affect the amazing flavor. Well done, Bean & Pie. And my Americano was fabulous. Would visit again!

Great little spot on our walk around Kendall Yards as we waited for our breakfast table. We stopped in and got an Americano and cappuccino. No line. Fast service and was pretty quiet spot.

Fast service and free parking in the back lot or along the street of Kendall Yards. This location has 8-10 small tables to chat or study at. It kind of has an industrial style with neon blue walls and large pieces of art on the wall. The bathroom is out in the hallway and requires a code, but is accessible (no stairs needed). The coffee shop is very echo-y and loud so not ideal for studying but is a decent place to catch up with friends. All of their tea options come from Revival Tea. I got the "blue tea" which was made from butterfly pea. The barista recommended having it with vanilla syrup and coconut milk, to which I agreed. It was an interesting grey/sea foam color. It was very smooth and had a very fruity flavor. Also, their cups (for cold drinks) have a wide mouth and aren't customized (which I am surprised by). Their pistachio cream cold brew didn't have a pistachio flavor and was not mixed well so the sweetener was all at the bottom. Probably would not get this again. I also came on their opening day, and a few teas/drinks were unavailable. Their Wifi was not ready yet and no straws either. I understand that not every menu item can be available all the time, but I had higher expectations for an opening day. I'd be willing to come back another day once the hype calms down to see if there are any improvements.

Cute little coffee spot with a view! Great menu and even gluten free options available

Coffee had great flavor. If you genuinely like coffee and not just something sweet I definitely recommend. There is a focus on different notes of flavor in the syrup but you can also taste the darkness of the coffee itself. Service 10/10, the barista recommended his mystery drink and I loved it. I love being served coffee in a mug so I appreciated that they do for orders that aren't to go. The space is open and decorated with art and plants. Pretty chill, definitely a calming atmosphere. Decent amount of seating, good place to go and chat or sit and do work. Relatively quiet which is nice.

The new Bean&Pie and New Love coffee shop is such a fun stop on a Kendall yards walk

We need more places like this in the Spokane Valley. Good ambience and plenty of seating for drinking and gathering with friends.

Came here last time I was in Spokane and it was excellent. This time, terrible customer service. Weak coffee. Won't be back.

Very friendly staff. Relaxed, chill vibe. I'm not a cultural coffee guy but my latte was very good. Great location.

AMBIANCE Parking: Downtown parking is downtown parking thus requiring some patience. There is some street parking and garage parking nearby. Seating: Inside seating, plenty of cozy nooks and tables, with room for about 40-50 people. Vibes: You gotta love Spokane. A growing town but a small town feel. The spot itself feels like a love letter to books and community with that old soul essence. You walk in and your senses are welcomed from the aroma of coffee and the hustle and bustle of employees and customers moving around. One side you'll see the cafe but a good portion is a lot of shelves with books and gifts. A very stimulating space, great place to study or get work done. CAFES & RETAILS Cold Brew - Hazelnut (Recommend) They have these house brews with selective flavors. I got a staple hazelnut that provided a nice nutty earthy feel. The coffee was strong as it kept me up for a busy day. Retails (Recommend) I didn't get anything but if my luggage had room I probably totally would have. Great range of books and creative thoughtful gifts (bookmarks, candles, and trinkets). CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and welcoming. The staff contributes to the warm atmosphere and makes the space feel approachable. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good coffee, cozy vibes, and a sense of community that makes you want to stay awhile. Atticus isn't just a coffee shop but a neighborly space that brings the locals and visitors together. If you're in Spokane and need a place to relax, come through! TIPS: * Take your time and browse the books and gifts, and enjoy the specials!

The pretzel was excellent, paired with a crazy good mustard that took it to another level. I ordered the curry, and it was a fantastic dish--rich, flavorful, and downright delicious. My daughter had the kids spaghetti with chicken added, and she confidently declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had... so there! Overall, a great experience with standout service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

Indaba didn't just check the boxes, it made me wonder why every coffee shop doesn't operate this way. Walk in and the space stops you. Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well. Before you leave, browse the retail wall. Solid selection of beans to take home, plus some genuinely cute goods worth picking up. This place has real soul. You'll feel it.

He was very helpful and willing to discuss the possibilities to help me land on my drink of choice. He proceeded to make me the best "dirty chai" I have maybe ever had. The chai is sourced from a small business in Bend. It was a perfectly spiced blend. The espresso was smooth and flavorful. It was so delicious I went back for another the next day. Hatch beaker + burr transcends all of these. I never expected that I would find one of the best lattes I've ever tasted in Spokane of all places after being a Portland/Seattle coffee elitist. The seasonal dulce de leche iced latte was so strong in the best way and brought me back to life with how flavorful it was. Seven dollars even and worth every penny. You can see in the attached photos that I really tried to get every drop of the drink. It was so good that I got another latte to go (cardamom), also so so good. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was. Must try if you have not, and if you have you definitely already know.

It was fairly busy when we came in, but there was no line at the counter, and it didn't take long for our drinks to come out. There's plenty of seating inside, and everybody seems in a good mood and everybody seems like they're having a good time. They were also baking some kind of bread, and it just smelled absolutely incredible. Although I didn't have any. They also do this thing where they give people... At least certain people... Free coffee. Which I thought was really cool and really generous of them. So why four stars instead of five? And this isn't exactly their fault, but parking sucks. It's street parking, there's a meter, there is a lot but it's confusing and the rules are confusing. So if you're walking from somewhere else this place is great, if you're driving in to meet for coffee it's a little bit annoying, if you just want to stop in and get something to go, it's going to be a big hassle. But would definitely be back.
