Excellent goat cheese toast. Available seasonally through June. The tea here is great as well, plus the shots of espresso are really strong.

I don't live in Cheney but I love coming out here to explore. Today's mission was to trek along the Fish Lake Trail but first I wanted to find fuel. ;) I looked up coffee near me and was lured in by a shop with a picture of avocado toast so I went to check out WP. It's located on a darling little street and the staff was friendly, welcoming and seemed happy to be there which to me is always the most important thing a restaurant can offer. I ordered a green tea latte and every sip was perfect, I think I have a new go to cafe beverage! My vegan avocado toast (they also had a non vegan option and a lot of other toasts that I look forward to trying) was beautifully assembled and bursting with flavors from citrus to salt and beyond. This business I understand is fairly young, and they deserve to thrive! Please check it out, support quality local food and drink that's fairly priced. I'll definitely be back, with friends!

Toaster pastries and cake pops. These toaster pastries look gourmet and delish!

Great coffee and friendly staff. It's rare to get quality coffee in small towns. I hope Cheney continues to support this small business!

Since they didn't have my not coconut milk he suggested I try the macadamia milk.

    Indaba Coffee - Avocado & bacon toast...fantastic!

If you only have one stop in Spokane, make it this one…read more I stumbled in off the street on a Saturday, visiting from out of town and looking for a place to hunker down, do some work, and enjoy a real cup of coffee. Indaba didn't just check the boxes, it made me wonder why every coffee shop doesn't operate this way. Walk in and the space stops you. Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well. Before you leave, browse the retail wall. Solid selection of beans to take home, plus some genuinely cute goods worth picking up. This place has real soul. You'll feel it.

I appreciate how they have local businesses such as Thomas Hammer Coffee now. I was also pleasantly surprised that Thomas Hammer didn't jack up their prices because it's an airport. I'll gladly pay $7 for a high quality coffee compared to many of the overpriced mediocre options out there. The barista was friendly and was very quick making my Carmanilla Latte. This is my personal favorite drink here, it's slightly sweet but still allows the robust espresso to shine through. Thank you for the pick me up on my way home!

We ordered a Caramanilla and a mocha, both hot, 12 oz, along with two SEC croissant breakfast sandwiches. The tall male employee taking our order asked if we wanted our drinks hot or iced and what size. We clearly answered that both drinks were hot. When our drinks came out, the Caramanilla was made iced. My fiancée politely let the female barista know it was supposed to be hot. She replied, "Well, the ticket said iced," and checked with the male employee. Instead of considering that he may have entered the order incorrectly or misheard us, he repeatedly insisted that we had ordered it iced. Mistakes happen. We weren't upset that the drink had to be remade. What disappointed us was the attitude. Rather than simply saying, "Sorry about that, we'll remake it," he argued with us, appeared visibly annoyed, gave me dirty looks throughout the interaction, and when he later brought out our sandwiches, my fiancée thanked him and he didn't even acknowledge her. It's entirely possible he misheard us, and that's okay. Everyone makes mistakes. What isn't okay is refusing to consider that possibility and making customers feel like they're inconveniencing you over a drink that takes less than a minute to remake. The interaction made us feel so uncomfortable that we decided not to eat there and left instead. I hope management addresses this. Good customer service isn't about never making mistakes. It's about how you handle them when they happen.
