This place is definitely set up for studying with plenty of seats and tables for laptops. if I were a student, I'd be here all the time. There's a drive through too if you don't want to hang out with the students. There's also a cool area outside to enjoy your coffee when the weather is a bit more than 30 degrees. I can't believe this is my first check in here. We used to come here frequently before we were Yelpers. There have been a few cosmetic changes but otherwise it is just as I remember it. Parking is no problem as the parking lot is large with an adjacent Safeway lot. There are usually a number of EWU students working here as it is within walking distance of campus (just!). In the summer there is a nice outside patio area. They do not have a clover machine here. The coffee is, as expected, just right. The baristas are as efficient as they were last time we were here. If you want to enjoy the coffee experience, this Starbucks will fit the bill. read more

I've been to this Starbucks location several times over the past few years and I've never had a problem with an order either in the cafe or drive thru. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and I've seen them fix drinks right away in the Cafe for customers when they have a problem. I would definitely recommend this starbucks, even when the drive thru is full of people the wait times are pretty quick or in a reasonable range. Skipping the line to go inside will still have your drink in hand as the last person in the drive thru when you went in. If you don't want to wait in line, the order ahead is great here too; I haven't had to wait for an order after waiting the app recommended time. read more

I wanted a drink that hasn't been on the menu for a few years (caramel apple chai), and the girl on the headset helped me figure out what to order. Okay this Starbucks is hit or miss... They often get my very simple coffee order wrong... Venti dark brew, three raw sugar and cream WRONG. They have been out of the sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich for a very long time. I have been a Starbucks lover for most of my 47 years... This is an excellent Starbucks location. Fast & friendly service, free wi-fi, yummy coffee, really fresh snacks and food. The outside drive through is often busy, but you won't have to wait long for your order to be filled. Inside, the staff are to a person friendly, helpful and quick; even if the lines appear long, they make every effort to get your order out as quickly and efficiently as they can. My order has always been correct and served with a beaming smile, even if they're super busy. I know all Starbucks locations are supposed to produce a universal product, but traveling like I do, I have experienced a vast range of difference in the taste of the espresso from store to store; this location is doing everything right because my Americanos and lattes always tastes excellent, never bitter and, importantly, never cold. The staff here really listens to your special orders, and makes sure they're correct - if I ask for an extra hot latte, they make sure it's steaming! If I want gray salt sprinkles on my caramel macchiato, they add them, no questions and no charge. I love it. If you want to stay awhile to take advantage of the free wi-fi, there are two generous seating areas inside, as well as outdoor seating. Left this store as unhappy customers. The news and internet advertised BOGO Frappe's. We ordered and when it was time to pay with cash, we were told we had to have a Starbucks card they could scan to get the BOGO. We showed the internet BOGO announcement which showed no stipulations, but our cash was turned away anyway. We were given no other option, so we walked out... went to McDonalds and got 4 frappes for less than the Starbucks BOGO price for 4, and they took my cash! read more

Even for Starbucks this is a joke. Only very, very, very limited merchandise and the case is pretty picked over for food. When we asked, they referred us into the Starbucks in Safeway. I guess that's good there are 2 but why does this one exist if the Safeway one is where you're supposed to go? Functionally redundant except for the drive-thru. read more

You guys closed almost a half an hour early today. No reason. Online it says open till 7 pm. Not good management as I see it for closing. This is definitely the worst service I have ever experienced when visiting a Starbucks location and will most likely not go again! Their was one person working the drive-thru and two working the front. It was not busy at all. I had just walked in and only two people had already ordered and waiting for their drinks. So, the two working the front had seen me and made eye contact but took their time to take my orders. I would say it took about a minute or so for me to wait before I placed my order. I had planned to work from this location and so waited to for them to call out my drink. Nothing happened. I looked over and saw a few drinks were on the counter and had to walk over and ask if one of the drinks was mine. I packed up my laptop and left. read more

It's definitely a hit or miss Starbucks location as far quality and service. Sometimes the drinks are spot on and other times the order is completely wrong. Sometimes you get someone extremely friendly and other times you get someone who couldn't care less about you. Wait time can also be an issue. I've had a couple problems here with orders but I always chalked it down to being busy. However I stopped in last week and was the only person in the store and was treated poorly and rushed. No one wants to start their morning off with annoyed baristas. I understand there are a million things to do within a shift but customer service should be your top priority. A shitty cup of coffee with a smile would go a lot further than a half decent cup and an annoyed barista. read more

We stopped in about 7:30 in the evening for some coffee with our daughter. I ordered a pour over and the barista told me that it was washed for the night. They close at 8 PM. All during the conversation she would not make eye contact. No apologies or anything made. I got a regular grind. I contacted Starbucks, but all I have received is the automated response. read more

The coffee is always burnt. Prices are outrageously expensive, not worth $5 for a small. It's a big business and not even a good one. I recommend supporting local. Sometimes the service can be decent, but other times it's pretty poor. The drinks are hit or miss... it's 50/50 whether I get a good/the right drink. I've been there twice this week and both times they were terrible experiences..so I'm thinking I will skip Starbucks and go to the little coffee hut across the street from now on. I ordered the same drink both days and when I was handed a totally different drink the second time I ordered, the girls were defensive instead of helpful. She explained that she has worked there for four years and knows how to make the drink. When you enetr you see all these students having a coffee with cell phones, computers, etc sprawled out on tables meant for 4 people.
