I remember when this place first opened. I was so happy that a place near where I worked knew how to make coffee properly, including not burning the milk like so many indie places do. I was in the neighborhood and stopped by again. Still amazing coffee, still super fast and efficient service, still super friendly. I don't get by here near as often because I don't work here anymore. But when I do, they are always consistently top notch. And prices are better than most coffee places too. I love the name as well, just fun. And the building looks so much better than most throw em up quick coffee stands. And to the out of town barely understandable fake one star reviewers from out of town (who I would bet are just paid), people like you are why we can't have nice things in Spokane. This mini drive-through is absolutely adorable! I was in Spokane for a family medical appointment and decided to try some local spots -- and I'm so glad I did. The outside was decorated for Valentine's Day, which made it even cuter. They had so many flavor options to choose from, and the drinks were absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh and well made. The two ladies working were super sweet, and our drinks came out quickly. Overall, it was such a good experience. Easy 5/5! read more

Best little coffee hut in Spokane! Seriously. Every single time I'm greeted with the friendliest hosts, and the options are the best. They have seasonal specialties, espresso drinks, lotus options, actual food choices like sandwiches, burritos, etc. Not just sugary stuff. Good prices too. I was just there yesterday and got the Mangolada special; puréed mango with some lotus for energy, in a Tajín and chamoy rimmed cup with a Tajín dipped straw and topped with fresh diced mango. This is the best drink I've ever had. No one else has this. Do yourself a favor and try this place! read more

I live for a good coffee stand and wow Mudslingers is a 5/5 for me! Not only have all the gals been so friendly- the prices are the BEST I've ever seen. A 24oz Lotus was less than $6. That is pretty much unheard of anymore. I have tried their bagel and the croissant breakfast sandwich and yummy!! I think a lot of their ingredients come from Costco. I got my first espresso-based drink today and it was fabulous. They have both sauce and powdered white mocha (pssst powder is always yummier). Love love love!! It is my new go-to! read more

Didn't see a price list, not going to patronize places without them anymore. Price in the end for two coffees with an extra shot were not worth it when I can't even be sure if the extra is in there based on the taste. I know it's almost Idaho but it's still WA, have some pride in your coffee good gawd. Such a great variety of flavors! I got a cinnamon roll hot chocolate and an oat milk chai latte and both were so yummy! Runs on the sweeter side. Big muffins and other snacks available. Very friendly service. Would go again when I'm in the area! read more

I've been working in the Spokane area now for about a couple of weeks and I've tried many drive up coffee stands in the area. Mudslingers is by far the best tasting coffee and has the best customer service in the entire Spokane and Coeur D' Alene areas. I have tried both the blended and regular coffee drinks here and have been blown away by the quality of their products. The drink I enjoy and get the most is a blended frappe called the weekender, which is made of white chocolate, salted caramel, and cream de cocoa. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Erica today and I can see why the customer service is so great here. Keep up the great work. read more

I went there to get a coffee for a coworker, I used my card for him, the drink total came out to 5.75, and I checked my bank account and found that that they charged me an extra $2. I crossed out the tip line because I have a cash tip... so not really sure how my drink increased $2.00 from the time I bought the drink to now, pretty lame if you ask me. First off, let me say before I leave this, that my coffee was fine. I drive past this place often, but never have gone. I finally decided I had some free time during a lunch break and drove on down, I had a long hard weekend and wanted to treat myself, but it took me quite a bit to get to the location (tried cutting through a parking lot, tried getting into different lanes). Finally I got across Sprague and made it, and there was no one in line, WIN! I pull up, and first thing I get is the barista opening the door and harshly saying "what can I get you", no hello, no real greeting at all. It threw me off. I said I just needed a moment, and she just turned around and walked away in silence. She helped someone else, which was fine, then came back to me and said "did you decide?", but still kind of cold and harsh. I wanted to ask a recommendation, as I hadn't been before, but felt like I didn't want to bother her. I just chose a drink off the menu. She took my order and still didn't say a word. I paid my $4.50 for my coffee, it was alright. But I felt a little annoyed, as I have been a barista for years and know that you have to perk up just a tiny bit for people, and I did what I've never done: I didn't tip. I feel bad for that, but I was frustrated that it took me numerous tries to get to the location (traffic, barriers, train tracks), which is NOT her fault at all of course, and I was excited to try a place right by my work as I get coffee daily and would love a close by place. But she looked, acted, and spoke as if I just interrupted her whole day by showing up on Monday at 1pm. I give two stars because, though it was a little warm, my iced drink came out well. I'll give it a try again, hopefully this message doesn't make me a criminal there, but I paid a pretty penny for a pretty bad experience that left me feeling a little angry, frustrated and grumpy. I was not a regular coffee drinker until Mudslinger's opened on Freya. I wish I could remember the name of the barista who made my coffee but it was the best! I wanted to tell her to teach someone to make it just like she does. I usually ordered a Mudslinger, (cold in summer) (hot in winter), with an extra shot of expresso. I think the type of coffee/bean makes a difference-they use Craven Coffee; and the person who makes it will do it a different way than another. So if you don't like your coffee maybe talk about it to the ladies, express your wishes and leave a tip! I am going there as soon as I am in the area. read more

I tried this place for the first time today, and I will be back! The barista was super-friendly, and didn't even blink when I asked for my latte sugar-free, extra-sweet, decaf, and with soymilk. It was excellent! She made my daughter's mango smoothie with extra whip cream, just the way she asked for it. It's just a matter of time before the rest of Spokane discovers this place and mobs it. For now, lines are short or nonexistent, service is quick and friendly, and prices are lower than anywhere else I've been to. read more
