When all is said and done, it's a Starbucks. And a pretty decent one at that. To start with, you have plenty of parking. And if you don't need/want to park, they have a drive-thru. If you do decide to dip inside there is quite a bit of seating. Although, at the time of writing some seating was restricted for the purposes of social distancing. My overall experience was, they got my order right, I had a comfortable place to sit and a I had a pleasant customer experience. Yeah, I'd total come back to this location.

New chairs. They might look uncomfortable but they are actually ok. Just prepare yourself for the initial hardness of the seat.

Nice big open store on Division with great big windows looking out on a beautiful view of Division. Not. However, you will find a big parking lot, but it is shared with several other businesses. The coffee is always the same, so if you love Starbucks, you can count on consistency, for sure! Baristas are friendly. Enjoy!

Starbucks is not my go to spot for coffee honestly. I prefer the local coffee stands but every once in a while I crave their passion iced tea lemonade. It's typically a summer refresher for me, but in the depths of winter right about now I was needing something seasonal. I'm not a fan of the coffee most of the time, it just doesn't taste as good as the locally owned goodness I'm used to. But their microwaved food items are decent. The coffee shop is conveniently on my way to work anywho so there are plenty of options there too. I've only ever been in the drive through, because I'm so domestic. But they are quick and friendly and again that passion tea is life.

Morning breakfast treat for my little (haha) people!

Well run Starbucks with good service and friendly staff. Despite the stores busy volume they take time to know your name

The workers are friendly but the coffee is lackluster, most of the nearby local coffee shops have better coffee.

I have to be honest and say I didnt want some girl yelling or snapping at me and my son when she's working in a spot that serves people! Absolutely most rudeness I've seen in many years. Too bad. There is a small space to sit that is primarily within the business, but plenty of room in the shared space if you are looking for a place to extend your visit. He was very helpful and willing to discuss the possibilities to help me land on my drink of choice. He proceeded to make me the best "dirty chai" I have maybe ever had. The chai is sourced from a small business in Bend. It was a perfectly spiced blend. The espresso was smooth and flavorful. It was so delicious I went back for another the next day. This establishment serves only beverages (as far as I could tell) but they are made with care and skill. Highly recommend.

Hatch beaker + burr transcends all of these. I never expected that I would find one of the best lattes I've ever tasted in Spokane of all places after being a Portland/Seattle coffee elitist. The seasonal dulce de leche iced latte was so strong in the best way and brought me back to life with how flavorful it was. Seven dollars even and worth every penny. You can see in the attached photos that I really tried to get every drop of the drink. It was so good that I got another latte to go (cardamom), also so so good. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was. Must try if you have not, and if you have you definitely already know.

AMBIANCE Parking: Downtown parking is downtown parking thus requiring some patience. There is some street parking and garage parking nearby. Seating: Inside seating, plenty of cozy nooks and tables, with room for about 40-50 people. Vibes: You gotta love Spokane. A growing town but a small town feel. The spot itself feels like a love letter to books and community with that old soul essence. You walk in and your senses are welcomed from the aroma of coffee and the hustle and bustle of employees and customers moving around. One side you'll see the cafe but a good portion is a lot of shelves with books and gifts. A very stimulating space, great place to study or get work done. CAFES & RETAILS Cold Brew - Hazelnut (Recommend) They have these house brews with selective flavors. I got a staple hazelnut that provided a nice nutty earthy feel. The staff contributes to the warm atmosphere and makes the space feel approachable. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good coffee, cozy vibes, and a sense of community that makes you want to stay awhile.
