Nothing to write home about .. treat them just another coffee shop. It might sound odd but I am not a big coffee person but missus loves her caffeine dosage that too milk infused .. so it is mostly a latte or cappuccino .. And as per her the Latte was alright. She was super hungry and took an egg & cheese burrito as well .. which, in simple terms, sucked. (I can confirm, had a bite) And I should stop at "sucked" .. and also a note to you all - "do not have it" never. That is it :)

I went up to the gals that were doing closing duties and had to interrupt them. Neither even acknowledged we were there. I said....are you still open? She snaps...ya. and then continued to do duties. I stood there for another 2 mins, just looking at them. Finally I asked again to see if they had time to make them, and the pink haired gal snapped at me " YA...I SAID WE WERE OPEN!" I was stunned. It was so rude , I literally didnt know what to say. My son ordered, i ordered, and they starting talking to each other with backs to us. Finally she slams them up on counter and says "here! " I will not ever be back! Nor my kids, family, friends,co workers, and or anyone I come in contact with. I have to be honest and say I didnt want some girl yelling or snapping at me and my son when she's working in a spot that serves people! Absolutely most rudeness I've seen in many years. Too bad. We will not be back. I've done this industry before. Absolutely unacceptable. I do hope management reads these! We shall see.

The coffee was smooth, rich, and easily one of the better cups we had in Spokane. Service was friendly and fairly quick, and the shop has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great spot to grab coffee and hang out. Definitely a must-visit for coffee lovers in Spokane!

AMBIANCE Parking: Downtown parking is downtown parking thus requiring some patience. There is some street parking and garage parking nearby. Seating: Inside seating, plenty of cozy nooks and tables, with room for about 40-50 people. Vibes: You gotta love Spokane. A growing town but a small town feel. The spot itself feels like a love letter to books and community with that old soul essence. You walk in and your senses are welcomed from the aroma of coffee and the hustle and bustle of employees and customers moving around. One side you'll see the cafe but a good portion is a lot of shelves with books and gifts. A very stimulating space, great place to study or get work done. CAFES & RETAILS Cold Brew - Hazelnut (Recommend) They have these house brews with selective flavors. I got a staple hazelnut that provided a nice nutty earthy feel. The coffee was strong as it kept me up for a busy day. Retails (Recommend) I didn't get anything but if my luggage had room I probably totally would have. Great range of books and creative thoughtful gifts (bookmarks, candles, and trinkets). CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and welcoming. The staff contributes to the warm atmosphere and makes the space feel approachable. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good coffee, cozy vibes, and a sense of community that makes you want to stay awhile. Atticus isn't just a coffee shop but a neighborly space that brings the locals and visitors together. If you're in Spokane and need a place to relax, come through! TIPS: * Take your time and browse the books and gifts, and enjoy the specials!

Indaba didn't just check the boxes, it made me wonder why every coffee shop doesn't operate this way. Walk in and the space stops you. Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well. Before you leave, browse the retail wall. Solid selection of beans to take home, plus some genuinely cute goods worth picking up. This place has real soul. You'll feel it.

Extremely rude service…read more I went through the drive-thru between 7-8 PM tonight and had one of the rudest Starbucks experiences I've had. There was no one else in the drive-thru, yet from the moment I tried to place my order, the employee had a noticeable attitude. He was having trouble hearing me, so I spoke up and repeated that I wanted two of the same drink, and he responded rudely. When I got to the window, I was greeted with the same attitude. I skipped the tip because honestly the service did not deserve one, and he responded with an angry "thanks." He then handed me my drinks without saying anything, and as I grabbed the second one, he abruptly said "bye." The entire interaction was unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. I left thinking I genuinely didn't even want my drinks anymore. I understand people have bad days, but there's no reason to treat a customer like that. I couldn't get his name because his name tag was turned away, but he had long hair pulled back in a bun. Hopefully management addresses this kind of behavior.

Laina was an easy-to-love local, just like their incredible range of beans (dark, medium, green, and white coffee) roasted in Spokane. A generous 50% off your first cup, Barista classes, and Coffee Club subscription for those in it for the long-haul. They also stock an array of high-end coffee nerd goods including the Opus grinder, Stagg kettle, and Fellow carafes. To start off this review:…read more I absolutely love Indaba as a whole: I love the mission, the staff are always so so friendly, their drinks are top-tier, and the baked goods/burritos are oh so delicious! This is not a bash on Indaba or even this location. For this specific Indaba location: - The space is gorgeous, with so many places to sit-- whether on stool tops, sofas, tables, inside/outside - I love how the drinks are so consistent from location to location. - The staff have always been so friendly and incredibly kind. - The one caveat of this location that makes it not 5/5 is the music level -- it has consistently been loud every time I've gone. Combined with the echoey nature of the interior, it's less than ideal for me personally to spend much time there-- whether it is to try to get some work done or just spend some time to have a nice conversation. Unfortunately, this really has been big enough of a point for me to try to choose the other locations if I can. For such a beautiful space, I would love to be able to spend more time in it.
