Literally just came through at 1:25pm today and got 2 shakes. One Avocado and one Strawberry. We have had both before in the past. For some reason the avocado one tasted foul. So I approached the front and talked with a young lady who was wearing a sweater that was black with white skulls and lots of piercings. I say this as she refused to give me her name after I had complained of the avocado shake and she said that's just how it tastes. I told her I have had them before and they never tasted foul. She once again said that's just how it tastes and everyone says that. I asked for her name and she gave a super crappy look at me and said extremely sarcastically to have a good day. There should be a sign that says if its disgusting that it's just too bad and also that avocado tastes like crap according to their employees. Never coming back here. Piss poor customer service. This literally just happened. I went in for the first time to get a drink, and the lady who took my order with the black hat was really awkward and kind of rude. I let it go after she didn't answer me when I asked her politely how her day was. And then after she started, making my order, she started talking shit about me to her coworker who had a really short hair. After I asked them for a refund because I heard them verbally talking stuff about me while I was at the counter, the girl who was wearing pink who had to really short hair, got really upset and started cussing me out, saying that they don't do refunds. After asking how they don't do refunds, she flipped me off after giving me my drink. It's on camera. This just happened about 10 minutes ago. This is the craziest experience I've ever received in my life. Literally flipped me off and threatened to call security on me because I didn't want their drink. She forced me to take the drink, which is also very fucking disgusting by the way. Insane. Does anyone know who the owners are? It's literally on camera where she flipped me off. Nope. A friend and stopped for boba while running an errand at Northtown. I'm afraid I cannot recommend Boba Bubble. The flavors are more suited to gas station slurpees than my idea of a boba shop. Unless you go to some local restaurants for your boba tea fix, they are the ones that's easy to get too cause it is located inside the mall. The tapioca ball aka tapioca pearls are made fresh daily, and they also have different side/sinkers like Passion fruit jelly, Lychee jelly and some flavored poppers. In my opinion they have most of the variety of flavors options available, and you can choose to get a milkshake, slush or milk tea in most or all of their flavors. I was pretty tired and just wanted a treat (special ed teacher). I said green tea, iced and I consider jasmine tea a green variety. I tried to explain that it looks like iced tea but the drink was still not what I intended. The price is a dollar over other better tea places like Poke King and Black Straw but I just wanted to stay north town. They refused to remake the tea and it wasn't busy, so it seems like if you are most likely to throw out the ingredients in a couple of hours it isn't a big deal to just redo it, especially when I've been a customer for awhile. Best Bubble Tea in Spokane. I always ask for my Passion Fruit Green Iced Tea with *Half Sugar* otherwise it is too sweet. My husband loves the Mango Slush and Lychee Slush. In response to one of the other reviewers, taro milk tea is almost always artificially flavored as real taro is very hard to come by in the states. In Taiwan you may be lucky to find a bubble tea place that has real taro in their taro milk tea. If you like bubble tea, this is the place to go. If you've never been, please try it! My friend and I were craving boba and we heard this was the only place in town (at least that we know of). This place does offer most of the flavers and options that most boba joints have; the typical milk teas, slushies, shakes, and regular teas. However the huge disappointment was in knowing that their flavored drinks are made from powder! Taro milk tea was way powdery and sweet, which tasted very unnatural in flavor. We ended up having them add more tea to the drink, which watered it down, but still didn't fix the taste too much. The jasmine milk tea was a much better choice, probably because it's a much simpler drink. The boba balls themselves were decent, but not great enough to redeem the drink as a whole. All in all, it's what you expect boba from spokane to taste like. Lets just say I'll wait for my next boba run when I head back to Cali. read more

Family owned little bubble tea shop in the bottom floor of the mall. There's new staff there now that really care about their drinks, and are always willing to answer your questions and offer recommendations. You can do half sugar, no sugar, or extra sugar/flavoring, and they offer soy for the shakes. The tea and boba is made fresh daily, so when the tapioca sometimes runs out like an hour before closing time, that's why. Super long wait on weekends bc of how busy they are but worth it. Also- there is only one milk tea that contains coffee, and you can ask them to put less coffee! This place has the best boba shakes in Spokane. Other places "worth mentioning" that sell boba shakes are Vina's and The Star. Both are Asian restaurants. I've been coming here since 2007 and their drinks are the tastiest! I've only had one bad drink here, which was an avocado shake which I normally like. I think one of the girl workers didn't a make it that good. If you live in Spokane and love boba I'd recommend to ask for a punch card. I recently tried a Thai tea flavored shake and it was goooood. I was reading some of the other review and I think some were being to harsh. I got the peach milk tea with extra boba and I think it was wonderful! I think they took the other reviews into consideration because it was not over sweet or powdery. I live in the bay area and there we have tons of boba options and this place would be toward the top. Being the only Boba place at NorthTown mall, this is quite a refeshing treat when you're parched. I'm surprised that this place has stayed around in conservative Spokane. Sometimes the drinks can be spotty, depending on how is working, but I've never gotten a bad boba drink here. You have to be a fan of tapioka in your drink. They are kind of like, gummy candy, but not as sweet or chewy, sometimes they don't have a flavor. There are some that have a filling in them, and "pop" when you bite into them. My favorite here is the avocado boba shake, or the black tea boba shake. They even have a punch card for frequent customers. They also sell some convenience store items. Be warned, if you pay by debit card and its under $5 its a .50cent surcharge. read more
