    Banana shake with boba
    Cindy C.

Came here because I was missing boba from home (626 represent!). I was hesitant at first but so happy that I took the leap. The tapioca was soft and chewy: the right texture needed! I also really enjoyed my banana shake in the middle of this heatwave.

Nope. A friend and stopped for boba while running an errand at Northtown. I'm afraid I cannot recommend Boba Bubble. The flavors are more suited to gas station slurpees than my idea of a boba shop. My milk tea with boba was not warm, not cold, and watery. The boba was not the correct consistency and was clumped together like it had been sitting for too long.

I've had better boba tea out of town (Seattle and Cali) or overseas where they actually use real fruit and loose leaf tea to make the drinks, but this is as good as you get for Spokane boba tea. Unless you go to some local restaurants for your boba tea fix, they are the ones that's easy to get too cause it is located inside the mall. The tapioca ball aka tapioca pearls are made fresh daily, and they also have different side/sinkers like Passion fruit jelly, Lychee jelly and some flavored poppers. In my opinion they have most of the variety of flavors options available, and you can choose to get a milkshake, slush or milk tea in most or all of their flavors. If you have questions, the staffs are always nice and helpful in describing the drinks.

The lychee shake has good consistency and was smooth like a smoothie. The flavor was good and the staff was nice and friendly. The banana shake also tasted fresh. The tapioca was soft and chewy. Located in the mall across from Clawcade.

Best in town available. Ordered the Thai Milk Tea with Boba. Specified"less sweet". Boba was boingy and squishy in the buoyant, yet supple way that tapioca is supposed to be. $5.00 total. If you pay in cash, it can be less, as their minimum charge is $5 on a card. Next time, and trust me, there will be a next time, as I will go to Northtown Mall solely to visit this place, I would add extra boba and perhaps say "even less sweet". Fast and friendly service.

Best Bubble Tea in Spokane. I always ask for my Passion Fruit Green Iced Tea with *Half Sugar* otherwise it is too sweet. My husband loves the Mango Slush and Lychee Slush. In response to one of the other reviewers, taro milk tea is almost always artificially flavored as real taro is very hard to come by in the states. In Taiwan you may be lucky to find a bubble tea place that has real taro in their taro milk tea. If you like bubble tea, this is the place to go. If you've never been, please try it! Always ask for half sugar otherwise you will probably regret it. Love the Korean owners! They're quite friendly and so is the staff. :)

I think this is literally the only place to get your boba fix in town. It took me awhile to realize it's actually in the mall, but when i found it i was truely satisfied. My shake was alil to milky, but for being the only place in town and considering the fact that i have experienced bad boba before, this place is good to go. The lady working there was very sweet and quick with my order. And the variety was excellent.

This place is no good do not go here. The bubbles taste like coffee yogurt expired. And the bubble tea has too much coffee. Don't come here if you want bad bubble tea.

Her favorite black tea with boba and jelly!

My 4 year old loves this place. It's super cool inside like arcade like. The boba tea was bomb. The menu has a ton of stuff on it too.

In…read morethe past two years I have tried several well recommended spokane cafes that were all great, tasty, and slightly more expensive than I would like. Hatch beaker + burr transcends all of these. I never expected that I would find one of the best lattes I've ever tasted in Spokane of all places after being a Portland/Seattle coffee elitist. The seasonal dulce de leche iced latte was so strong in the best way and brought me back to life with how flavorful it was. Seven dollars even and worth every penny. You can see in the attached photos that I really tried to get every drop of the drink. It was so good that I got another latte to go (cardamom), also so so good. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was. Must try if you have not, and if you have you definitely already know.

I just prefer something sweeter and smooth. Rosemary Staccato: 3.5/5

(Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!

My daughter had the kids spaghetti with chicken added, and she confidently declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had... so there! Overall, a great experience with standout service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

Indaba didn't just check the boxes, it made me wonder why every coffee shop doesn't operate this way. Walk in and the space stops you. Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well.
