I lived in a big city most of my life with lots of boba options and disappointed the Spokane-CDA area lacks good boba options, but this is the best place in the area for boba! I love the unique drinks, the boba is soft, but the best part is truly the service and the experience, extremely nice people who are eager to make sure you leave satisfied with your drink! The most friendliest staff I've ever met, and this is CONSISTENT. Always such a pleasant interaction whenever we stop by! One of my favorite boba places in Spokane! DRIVE THRU: Love how they offer a drive-thru option and it allows my husband and I to grab a drink whenever the kids are napping while in the car. Only bummer is that the line can move slowly when there are a ton of cars. The only physical menu they have is somewhat small on the window, so you technically have to decide when you get there. They do have their menu online at times via website or instagram, but there are times they are updating their site and it's unavailable. It would be more convenient and helpful to speed up the process by adding a large menu either on the wall of the building or a sign/post BEFORE you get to the window. MENU: I know their menu is simplified to show the drinks, but I've been there a few times where I hear customers asking the same question like "What's in the Shark Attack fruit tea? What's in the Dreamglow fruit tea?" It might be helpful to write a description under more unique menu items or have a wall/photos on the side showing what's in the specialty drinks, just a suggestion! PEACH OOLONG TEA: Very refreshing and this is my go to order! I love ordering this with lychee jelly and light ice. JASMINE MILK TEA: This isn't on the menu, but they can make this as well. I order this with boba and enjoy getting this often as well! OOLONG MILK TEA: This is my husband's go to drink and it's good as well! THAI TEA CLOUD: Your typical thai tea flavor with a cheese cloud smeared along the sides of the cup to get this "cloud-like" visual. Being one of the few boba places in town, I was excited to try Bocopop out. When we got there it was super busy (weekend afternoon). There were customers coming in nonstop. Most people got their drinks to go but some stayed, like us. They don't have a lot of tables but they do have some couches, an Instagram-able wall, and a public bathroom. They play a lot of popular and recent K-pop, which is fun. The first thing that stands out to me is really their customer service. The staff were friendly and upbeat. They were also giving lots of free drinks and discounts, particularly to new customers but our group was not offered it even though it was our first time there. Not sure how they decide who to give it to, but appreciate that they offer it. After I received my drink (Tiger Sugar) the lady offered to mix it for me which personally I did not like because I wanted to take some pictures beforehand and mixing it is something I can do myself. However, if it was someone's first time drinking bubble tea, I can understand how that guidance can be helpful. I will say the Tiger Sugar drink is looks beautiful, but "stripy" as the actual Tiger Sugar. It is on the sweeter side for me even though I asked for a less sugar however that is kind of expected given what I ordered. Bocopop also offers coffee which is nice. I believe that's a reason why they open so early in the morning (7-8:00 a.m), which I don't often see with other bubble shops. read more

Lovely gem not far from the interstate either. A great stop for a refreshing boba drink or coffee. Locally owned and the workers care about their shop! I mentioned it was my first time there and they were happy to go over the menu with me. So they don't do tapioca boba in the morning. Think it starts around 10 am? They did mentioned they are trying to start earlier since the demand seems to increase. So keep coming here so we can have some early morning boba! I opted for a special drink that was donating to the local high school. I love helping out the local communities so I decided on that. They described it to me and I was a little hesitant, and they assured me if I don't like it they'll make me a new drink. They want their customers happy with their purchase and know boba may be a new experience. So yes, I did end up getting a new drink, but they were so nice about it and helped me decide. I ended up with the Taro Cookie with light sweetness and lychee jelly. I was much happier with that drink! Ice levels were perfect for me. Cold enough to keep the drink cool but enough room for plenty of drink. They don't have smoothies if that's the type of boba your thinking of. This is what exceptional customer service does; it draws you back no matter what. First off, you can go into the shop itself or you can go through their DRIVE THRU. It's just a drive thru, but tbh I've never come across a boba drive thru before. Nice convenience factor for what it's worth. The customer service here is hands down 5/5. One of my friends was hesitant to order a 50% sweet matcha milk tea. Before we pulled out of the drive thru the worker took the initiative to ask her how she liked it. If she didn't like it he was offering to re-make the drink for her until she did! Now that's some superior customer service! When it comes to the taste of the drinks, BocoPOP comes in at a solid 4/5, pretty decent for the Spokane area. One of my friends is a regular here and loves their fruit teas. Boba here is well made, soft and chewy. I love Vietnamese coffee and usually make it myself with a slow dripping phin, but this place said they cold brewed theirs. I've never tried cold brewed viet coffee before so decided to give that a try. Perfect level of sweetness for me, but the strength of the coffee was a bit diluted. Not sure if it's the difference between a slow dripping phin vs cold brew or the type of coffee grounds used (the classic I love is Café du Monde), but I also saw them pour my drink from a big pre-made pitcher with ice in it? This the best boba you'll find in Spokane! I am picky about boba too since I live in the Portland area with many good options for boba. The boba is the perfect amount of chewiness and flavorful because it's soaked in brown sugar. I've gotten the Tiger Milk, regular milk tea and matcha boba and they're all good! They will happily adjust the sweetness for you as needed. The staff is unbelievably friendly, thoughtful and sweet! I would come here just for the service TBH but the boba is really good!
