The White Dog on the South Hill consistently provides the worst experience of any location I've visited. Even when there is little to no line, it takes an unreasonable amount of time to receive a drink. Having 3-4 employees working at a time does not seem to make a difference in the speed of service. What's even more frustrating is the constant lack of ingredients for menu items. I regularly order the same bagel, and almost every time I'm told they don't have the ingredients to make it. This has been an ongoing issue, not a one-time occurrence. If a location is repeatedly unable to make certain menu items, those items should not be advertised as available. Customers should be able to expect reasonable wait times and that menu items can actually be ordered. Unfortunately, this location consistently falls short in both areas. read more

What a cute little coffee stand! I follow them on Instagram and finally got the chance to stop by. I tried one of their holiday menu items (the one with the red velvet foam and white coffee). The foam tasted somewhat artificial/plastic and took over the whole drink. I enjoyed the white coffee flavor though. I would return for a standard menu item as the gals working were very friendly. They just underwent a price increase in the new year and covered a portion of their menu with a sign stating that. I wish I could've seen the whole menu. Prices were on par with regular coffee shops. I come here every morning, the girls are always so kind and friendly. Seeing them is always the highlight of my day. I'm also a big coffee drinker and I've tried tons of different coffee shops, but when it comes to cold brew, White Dog takes the win for me. It is very strong, and can be a bit bitter because the coffee flavor really stands out- which is why I love it! They also have the absolute best bagel sandwich that I always order, the turkey pesto sandwich. It is always packed with fresh ingredients and it tastes amazing. I've been going here since they've opened!! Any other time I would have definitely gave them a 4-5 star review. I'm super disappointed in my experience today. I ordered my usual Red Bull Italian soda, and decided to get a cheddar jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and this is what she gave me! When she handed this to me, obviously I could see it was extremely burnt, but also did not see any jalapeños so I asked if it was a jalapeño bagel, and she said yes I just couldn't see them. I believed that to be true and drove off taking a bite of my burnt bagel. It's definitely a plain not jalapeño. Tried to eat it and not care, but it is so burnt it's not edible at all. Disgusting!!!! If you wouldn't eat it, why would you serve it? Super disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the drinks were good as usual but I just still can't believe I was given this bagel!!!!! read more

I had seen people posting about white dog and realized it was on my way to work, after stopping the first time, I was hooked, not only did they make my drink right the first time, they made sure I immediately got a punch card. The coffee was so hot and burned me. When I called to alert them, the manager blew it off and rudely replied, "If you drive back I can remake a drink that's cooler" with a sarcastic laugh. That's so condescending, obviously a drink will cool down with time. The point is I was burned by the coffee and wanted to make sure other customers don't get burned. Tara the manager was oblivious to customer safety and customer service by dismissing my concern so rudely. I've never had this problem at Jitters (now White Dog), Starbucks Or Dutch Bros. On the outside of the window it says 'you have a choice, thanks for choosing local'. Well I'm choosing to never go back even though it is the closest to my work. I miss jitterz, the previous neighborhood coffee stand but the new White Dog stand that replaced it is my new go to. It's more expensive but also a lot nicer and way bigger food menu. Valley Location: Sweet employees and good coffee, but my 20 oz vanilla latte (3 shots, regular milk) was over $5 and after tip over $6. They have a sign posted in their window that states prices had to increase after minimum wage was raised and now that they're being required to pay for family leave. Oh my gosh, this is my favorite coffee stand in Spokane!! All the girls are super friendly and sweet. They're always apologetic when there is a line (even though it's not their fault & they have fast service). I always get decaf, and they never forget to make it decaf. My order is always correct, tasty, and consistently good! Today I ordered one of their veggie breakfast burritos. It has eggs, potatoes, cheese, sausage, onion & bell peppers. They get them from Thomas & Hammer she told me. It came with salsa too, which was lovely. I also appreciate the fact that they do double punch day. My other favorite stand does not do double punch day anymore so I have been frequenting White Dog lately & am so impressed! A+ service. read more

I come here almost every day to order coffee and they are great. The only thing I would say is, I won't really order white coffee anymore because it tastes weird. I don't have any experience making coffee so I don't know for sure, but it almost tastes like the machine needs to be cleaned or something.
