Amazing service, the girl who helped my mom and I was really sweet, and very much informative of what they had to offer; I'm quite new to this "lotus" energy...so I gave it a go, and the drink itself was TASTY, and it for sure was refreshing & had a great amount of caffeine I'd say to keep me up throughout the day. I'd probably grab myself one in the morning & maybe anotha pick me up before they close, but nonetheless was super happy with the service and the drinks; I must say too, the area has such great character and quite a nice vibe to it. read more

Ok, I was just wowed today. At first I got annoyed, but then left impressed. There are two drive thru windows. One guy was bouncing around managing both sides. Well, the people in front of me changed their minds just as the barista was going to hand them their drinks. Sigh. When I got to the window he profusely apologized for the wait. I got to try a free sample of caramel frappe because the wafflers in front of me changed their mind. I am a creme de menthe mocha guy normally, but this was just really good so ordered a brand new one. Then he gave me a huge discount for having waited behind the dorks. While I was there the person at the other window had ordered kids' cocoas. The barista clipped the straws to make them more kid friendly. Wow, such attention to detail is just rocking to me. Will definitely be back! read more

This is my favorite coffee place in town. I will go out of my way to make a stop here - its that good and I'll tell you why... They have excellent coffee and wide variety of drinks. All your basic latte/mochas, hot and cold brew and a selection of blended drinks that they will customize for you. The service is great - they remember my drink and make it the same way every time. This may not sound that hard, but you would be amazed at the variety of quality you get - especially when requesting something non-standard. My two favorite drinks are an espresso shake (real ice cream and not some mix blended with ice cubes) and a blue Lotus shake. This is made with ice cream, blue lotus and ice cubes giving it the best texture and flavor - I highly recommend it if you like blue lotus. I can also recommend the granitas - just the right consistency - not too frozen and not too liquidy - that's important too. They also offer goodies and breakfast sandwiches and custom specialty drinks that change every month. Do yourself a favor and check them out! read more

We happened to stop here on a whim, looking for a coffee on our out and about for the day. I had no idea that this delightful shop existed so close to home. I am very particular about some things. One is the flavors of what I am eating or drinking, and the other is service. Upon my first arrival we got Perk Chillers, so Sweet so Good. Normally not what I like, but for an afternoon delight, this was right on point. The service was not only fast but friendly and not the fake friendly that you will receive at other businesses. Based on this experience, I revisited this business on my way to work. This is when I met the owner, Jennie. She asked what was I like and I asked if they had dark chocolate. She said no they did not, but she could order it if I would like. I told that was okay because I still not sure but just keep it basic and we will go from there. Since that visit and I have made this my new stop on my way to work, to get my dark chocolate mocha. And every day I am greeted as I am valued as a person, not just some customer they are trying to shuffle out of the drive. Based on what I see, I have high hopes that your new business will flourish. read more

I have been coming to walnut street perk for over 10 years and they have always treated me great. Over the years, they have had a lot of turnover in staff, as you would expect in this line of business, but there are some that have been around a long time and the new staff seem to be well educated and inserviced. The owner is a great guy that always has a smile and thanks me for being a long-time customer. That recognition goes a long way for me! read more

This was our first time stopping in, we have driven by multiple times and never really noticed it before. So glad we did stop today, we were not disappointed at all. The gentleman that helped us (yes we were surprised to have a male barristra) was very patient with us, even called our kids by their names when he handed them their drinks. Firstly, they use Thomas Hammer coffee, which is a major bonus for me, since they're my absolute favorite. I tried this place for the first time recently, and though I wouldn't consider my choice of drink to be the most difficult to make, it certainly isn't the simplest either. I order the same thing everywhere I go, and this is by far the best version of my drink I've had! The lady who works isn't the most talkative or friendliest person I've encountered, but she's pleasant enough, and she knows how to make my coffee delicious, and that's what I really care about! read more

I live on the north side but I work here in the valley and even on days I don't work I drive all the way out to the perk because the coffee is so good here and the prices are amazing.
