Wow!!! Talk about smooth and full bodied. Stopped here for a latte to enjoy while checking out the mall. I wanted soy but they only had almond or oat milk, so I chose the oat milk. Good choice! The barista was friendly and the latte was served within a minute of ordering. There were a number of drinks ready to be picked up as well as quite a few people sitting around drinking their coffees. A good sign. The coffee was competitively priced at $3.75 for my 12 ounce drink. Definitely worth a visit every time you set foot in the mall.

This was my first time at a Thomas Hammer Coffee Roaster and it was a pleasant experience I ordered an Orange Vanilla Late with an Ultimate Chipper Cookie and both were delicious. The staff was welcoming and pleasant, they provided great service and the general ambiance was relaxed. The food and drink were prepared quickly and I was on my way. I would definitely recommend this establishment

Honestly would just like to be treated with the same patience and respect as the other customers. Not with attitude. Thanks.

#1 coffee in Spokane FOR SURE. I mean that so seriously. In…read morethe past two years I have tried several well recommended spokane cafes that were all great, tasty, and slightly more expensive than I would like. Hatch beaker + burr transcends all of these. I never expected that I would find one of the best lattes I've ever tasted in Spokane of all places after being a Portland/Seattle coffee elitist. The seasonal dulce de leche iced latte was so strong in the best way and brought me back to life with how flavorful it was. Seven dollars even and worth every penny. You can see in the attached photos that I really tried to get every drop of the drink. It was so good that I got another latte to go (cardamom), also so so good. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was. Must try if you have not, and if you have you definitely already know.

Was expecting something sweeter as I asked him for a rec. Would continue to go here, just will order something sweeter next time. I'm sure it's a good drink if that's what you like. I just prefer something sweeter and smooth. Rosemary Staccato: 3.5/5

At first, I kept coming back because the coffee is consistently excellent, honestly some of the best I've had. Every drink is made with care, and the quality never slips. The hand pies are also a standout and have become one of my go-to breakfasts. Over time, though, what really keeps me coming back is the people. Michaela, Kelly, and Cambriah are incredible at what they do. They make genuinely great coffee, but they also create an environment that feels welcoming and easy. They manage to keep things running smoothly while still taking the time to connect with customers in a way that feels natural and genuine. It's rare to find a place that delivers both high-quality products and such a consistently positive experience. New Love does both, and it's clear that the baristas are a big part of that. I always leave in a better mood than I walked in.

The staff was super friendly and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. My drink was great, and the overall vibe was calm and comfortable. It was definitely a spot I could see myself coming back to for a quiet morning or a quick pick-me-up. The only thing that threw me off was the layout and aesthetic. It looked like there were other businesses, maybe real estate offices, tucked into the same space, and it made the flow feel a little confusing at first. Not a deal-breaker by any means, just not what I expected when walking into a coffee shop. Overall, really good coffee, great people, and a nice environment , just a slightly odd setup. I'd still recommend giving it a try!

Shortly after I placed my initial review, someone who doesn't live in the area posted how they didn't understand the "other reviews" (I was the only one at the time) because they come in all the time and the place is great. Yeah. They come in all the time. From the other side of Washington State. Hmmm, yeah, not a fake reviewer who probably are person friends of the business owner at all. Totally legit. Response from the business owner themselves elsewhere was flippant and sarcastic. And completely ignored my suggestion that as a place that sells food, they should focus on selling food that actually tastes good. I know, I am weird, I happen to like food that is prepared well and tastes good. I imagine this bistro is going to have the same bad luck as the last three ideas that didn't last very long here.
