Found some reviews…read morethat mentioned there were pour overs and saw a picture with multiple pour over options, which prompted me to give this place a visit. I was lucky that it was only five minutes from where I was staying. The ambiance reminds me of a small, third-wave coffee place with a small amount of seating. There is a main ordering area/bar looking area in the middle of the cafe and seats in the periphery. I was amazed to see how many options there were. After ordering my pour over, I was happy that it was made well, prepared well, and had an excellent aroma. I was instantly happy knowing this coffee place was close to where I was staying. They definitely know what they are doing here! Highly recommend it. The only downside to this place is they are closed on Sunday, and I found that out the hard way.

You can even do a taste flight. I love their one and one. Get to really taste the coffee with the espresso shot, and then a nice easy sip with the macchiato. And quite a steal at $4. Definitely a place to go for any coffee connoisseur. But note, this isn't really a cafe. No place to work. No lounge chairs. Just great coffee.

I love a good London Fog, but what makes that good is the strong flavor of black tea mixed with the right amount of milk and sweetness. Their LF was neither a strong enough black tea nor sweetened well. I don't like it overly sweet, but just enough to enjoy it. The tea was way too watery. I did i form the barista, but he didn't seem too concerned about it. I also like a a good spiced chai latte, but I'm not sure what is up with their chai. I'm thinking probably too little of it. So, I really would like to enjoy the spot more as it's usually fairly quiet and serene in the morning, but I just wish I had a better hot drink to enjoy.

I've been coming here for over six years almost entirely because of the vegetarian breakfast tacos…read more They were one of my favorite breakfasts anywhere, loaded with avocado, sprouts, pickled onions, dill, pickled radish, egg, chipotle sauce, and so much flavor. I happily paid around $20 because they genuinely felt special. Today I ordered them like I always do, only to discover after leaving that they've completely changed. They're now just egg, cheese, and chorizo with pickled onions. No one mentioned that they were no longer vegetarian or that the recipe had changed so drastically. As someone who doesn't eat meat, I had no choice but to throw them away, so I ended up wasting $20 on a breakfast I couldn't even eat. I'm honestly really disappointed. I understand menus evolve, but when a longtime menu staple changes this much, especially from vegetarian to meat, it should be communicated clearly when ordering or at least noted prominently on the menu. Beyond that, the new version just doesn't justify the price anymore. It feels like a completely different product, and unfortunately not for the better. This isn't meant to be a harsh review because I've loved Ladder Coffee for years. These tacos were genuinely one of my favorite breakfasts in Spokane, which is why this was so disappointing. I just wish the change had been communicated. Going from a vegetarian taco loaded with fresh ingredients to a chorizo taco is a huge difference, and I would've ordered something else had I known. I hope you'll consider bringing the original version back or offering both options.

I don't get by here near as often because I don't work here anymore. But when I do, they are always consistently top notch. And prices are better than most coffee places too. I love the name as well, just fun. And the building looks so much better than most throw em up quick coffee stands. And to the out of town barely understandable fake one star reviewers from out of town (who I would bet are just paid), people like you are why we can't have nice things in Spokane. Please just knock it off.

It has a very nice shop inside where the smell of coffee is strong from grinding their own beans in house. I loved it and the vibe instantly. It has an old time feel which I love. The server was super nice and helpful in answering my wife and I's questions. I love that they serve lunch. I had a delicious tortilla soup while my wife enjoyed a panini, also delicious. My wife enjoyed a chocolate espresso, different ingredients than a mocha, while I enjoyed a chai latte. Both great and served very hot in a mug. Speaking of hot, the day was only mid 60's, but due to the many windows, which does bring beauty and good light into the shop, it was quite hot and stuffy inside, yet too cool to eat outside.
