From the owner: We sell directly at the Spokane Farmers' Market on 5th between Division and Browne, Saturdays from…read more2nd weekend in May until end of October and Wednesdays from June until the end of October, 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. both days. We grow a wide variety of top quality vegetables and strawberries and have a weekly CSA in season. Our certified organic market garden is a part of an intentional community which was begun in 1963. Our community has survived as the longest running secular intentional community in the United States. As pioneers in the organic farming movement, we have never had synthetic chemicals applied to our soils. We have been selling our produce to the Spokane public for over three decades. We also were founding members of and integral to the creation and operation of the Spokane Farmers' Market. Through this, we have helped many other farms and businesses establish themselves in the region. We helped bring the WIC and Senior farmers market programs to Spokane, and have donated an enormous amount of produce to local food banks. We care deeply about the health of the land and the environment, and all people having access to healthy food. Our farm is a participatory, egalitarian workplace where every hour worked carries the same value.

Chatting with the friendly vendors, eating and buying the best items in the market. Yes! I love supporting local and supporting USA made products. We enjoyed the breakfast bagels, coffee, desserts, doggie treats, shopping bag, goat cheese and wine. I already mentioned the huckleberry syrup, jam and rub. Yes! They have a great mix of crafts, veg, bakery, meats, etc., and unlike other Panhandle markets we've been to, the whole place is filled with happy folks. Real nice grandstand for the local performers, as well. Thankfully, the businesses around it allow parking in their dormant lots on a Sat AM, and that's definitely a credit to the market organizers to get that important support. This is the best time to go during the calendar year, so don't waste another weekend. You'll miss this in the Winter...

I am just in love with this select farmers market!!…read more Not only because they've got Orange Thyme as a vendor (along with The Scone Ranger and various grass fed meat, hand made soap, vegetable and fruit vendors) but the people are just incredibly kind and informative yet not at all pushy. There is a sense of community when I walk into the parking lot. Never have I felt unwanted or things of the like. This is something I look forward to each week (when expenses allow) as I know everything is made with care and love. I encourage everyone visiting or living in the area to stop by, if you love Korean BBQ the church adjacent to the market has a killer deal. $10 will get you a plate that'll fill you up with a happy tummy for your shopping needs!
