Brisket hash with a side of hollandaise sauce
Onglee X.

We came for a friend's birthday brunch, but also to watch the Zags game. They have $3 mimosas for brunch, which of course we started with a few of those. They have a few different juice flavors to choose from. Orange, pineapple, grapefruit and cranberry. The whole table ordered something different. I tried the French toast with berry purée, it was okay, it seemed dry even though it had syrup. A friend had the chicken sandwich and praised it, unfortunately I didn't get to try that . They do have delicious sweet potato tots. And their garlic fries had an abundance of garlic which is all I look for in garlic fries. I ordered the brisket hash with a side of hollandaise sauce. It was good. There was plenty of brisket, and big chunks of it as well. I do wish that there was more seasoning, on the brisket and the overall dish. I think if the brisket itself was more juicy it would add a lot more flavor to the dish itself. Another friend ordered the Logan's Benny. I found the price to be over priced for only one egg Benny, and it did not come with any sides of potato's. So make sure you order a side . The place started getting really busy because of the zags game. But the whole vibe was a fun time. Our server was on top of evrything, bringing us drinks when needed. We were there for quite a while, and enjoyed our time. Overall I would say Logan's is great for a drink and handhelds , breakfast has room for improvement. Also a fun place to watch the game.

Service slow. Only one bartender/server when we were there. Food was good.. good hangover type of food. Great location for college kids to hang. Ambiance is dive bar restaurant setting.

Herbivore....veggie burger

This is a fun college neighborhood bar with really above average food. This is my second time, and it did not disappoint. Yes, it gets loud in here. Especially after work or during a game. But that's to be expected and part of the charm. It's spacious with booths, tables, and a bar area with seating as well. Lots of TVs and a pool table. The wood style floors are clean, and the wooden bar is cozy. But I'm here to tell you about the food. This is pub fare at its best. My herbivore meal was nothing but perfect. It's an actual old school, made in-house veggie burger. The kind that oozes out the bun with every bit. And it has a delicious brioche bun to boot. It's loaded with goodness. From the cheese to the guacamole. And that's fresh avocado, not some crappy spread. No store bought burgers here. It's just the real deal. I think it's the best veggie burger in town. Yes, I said the best. The fries are so yummy and crispy and seasoned so perfectly. You can get burgers, chicken, wraps, mac n cheese, salads, nachos, and so much more. You'll enjoy the drinks too. They have a full bar and something for everyone. They make a fun Gin Gimlet, which is a lovely classic cocktail. They have local beers and others. You'll find something for sure. If you're looking for pub food with actual flex, then stop by. Staff will treat you right. Support a fun local place while you're at it.

Logan's Bloody Mary

GET THE BLOODY MARY!!! Yummm! Came here with a couple friends cause we heard the Bloody Mary is one of the things that puts this place on the map! Needless to say, they aren't lying! Probably one of top 5s now! The food was also very good, though I only tried bites from my friends plates. I am definitely planning a trip back to have a full lunch experience.

Brisket hash

The amount of times I've passed this place on the way to the store or to the other bars in the area is too numerous to count. I always knew I could get drinks there but never knew they did brunch. Went to brunch today with my friend and it was phenomenal. We got the brisket hash and huevos rancheros and both were phenomenal. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cute lowkey brunch spot!!

Bloody Mary's are good. Buffalo fries are delicious. Prices aren't bad. I've only been on Friday mornings so the vibe is low key.

No one asked if we'd made a reservation. I eventually asked a server at the bar if we should seat ourselves because we'd been standing there for so long. No, someone will help you soon. A host walked up. He was eating something. When he got to the host stand, he finished his food, took a big drink and wiped his hands before making eye contact with us. He said the wait would be 15 minutes. We sat down in the lobby. We were seated at a community table. The couple to our right finished their meal, paid the bill and left. Their seats were bussed. This all happened before our server greeted us. We ordered coffee. We waited. And waited. I scanned the restaurant for our server - or any server- to ask about our drinks and place our food order. No one else approached the table. Still no coffee. It had been 30 minutes. We decided to leave. The host realized we were leaving. He offered to find our server, pay for our meal, seat us somewhere else. He practically chased us out of the restaurant. I appreciated the sentiment but it was too little, too late and my teenage daughter was super uncomfortable with his approach. I was excited to eat at House of Brunch. I won't be back.

The inside as shown in my picture is very charming and old timey. Allow time to wait for a table unless you are just one or two like I was and able to grab a seat at the bar. I was able to sit immediately. The staff is very amiable and the hostess made the recommendation that I try the Caprese Benedict, which had fried tomatoes in place of bread, fresh basil and blood orange balsamic drizzle. They offer the option of one or two Benedict, which is nice if you aren't super hungry. They also give the option to smother the hashbrowns and cheese, which I obviously opted into. The menu is absolutely massive though, so if Benedict's or even breakfast aren't your jam, you should be able to find something that suits your fancy. Also worth noting that they offer a very wide variety of gourmet flavors of house-made juices (7 or 8) for mimosas, like honeydew melon mint which I tried as a soda with soda water since I was driving.

Started off with a Perfect Peach & Huckleberry Lemonade Mimosas that were divine! Everything on the menu sounded amazing so we ultimately decided on the chicken and biscuit with country gravy, the Honey Gochujang chicken sandwich with fries and the verde Hash with eggs on the side. The chicken and biscuit was a winner but be prepared for the food coma afterwards- worth every bite! Their fried chicken is perfectly seasoned and moist. I'm glad we shared the chicken sandwich because it would have been too much , too sweet, on its own. I was Expecting to get more heat but it was mostly sweet- could have used more of a tangy slaw and house dill pickles for texture and acidity. The title with Honey in it should have tipped me off. The Verde Hash was the best hash I've ever had and a generous portion. The use of roasted poblano peppers, red peppers, carnitas and potatoes was taken to next level with the feta cheese on top! Great flavor profile and big enough portion to share. I can't forget to mention the delightful server who patiently gave suggestions and went out of her way to make our first Bruncheonette Experience memorable. Tip- put extra time on your parking meter because you're going to need to take a walk after your meal.

Shared the Verde Hash and Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito (which we had as a bowl to make it gluten free). The hash was amazing, had such good flavors, and a generous portion of meat and the potato medley. The burrito flavors were pretty good, but wish it came with more tots since we didn't have the tortilla to go with it. It was definitely enough (maybe a little too much) for two people to share. Would absolutely have wanted to try more items! The host and waitress were both super friendly and our waitress was the perfect amount of checking in (at the right times), asking correct questions, and noticing our needs. She was so excellent!!
