Menu is probably one of the hardest menus I ever had to choose from everything sounded and looked amazing. And the looks of the pics I saw online tasted better then it looked!!!! Good selection to chose from price is fair and really worth it. My friend and I came in Christmas night. I was surprised they were open until 9:00. Really nice guy welcomed us in, wearing antlers to celebrate, good-natured even though he had to work! I ordered the portobello burger. I have to say it was absolutely the best burger I've ever had!! Delicious!! Fries were fresh and seasoned perfectly! Nice small rustic place, really comfortable. We stopped on our way through and were pleasantly surprised! I had the Reuben, which was delicious with homemade sauerkraut, and my hubby had the brown sugar bacon bbq burger. We also ordered the fried pickles, and everything was absolutely delicious!! The location was good with easy freeway access, and a gas station right there. I wouldn't want to go when it's busy, since they only have one cook and one server, but we'll definitely be back! Cool place. Excellent service. I love the racing theme of the place. I had a turkey/bacon melt today and it was REALLY good (per the recommendation of the guy working the front - good call!) and hit the spot. I'd definitely go back. Food was excellent, service was great,ambience was OK that of a little local diner. nobody was afraid to talk to each other, my only reason for four stars is that the floors were very greasy,to the point that it was dangerous for my companion who is handicapped and uses two canes, the rubber tips on her canes kept sliding on the floor she almost fell several times, my hope is that this will be read by upper management and that they try their best to correct that situation before somebody gets hurt. On July 13, 2025 my husband and I went to Hangry's in Post Falls, Idaho. The food was mediocre at best. But the service was abhorrent. The man who claimed to be the manager (I think his name was Cody)had to leave to go to his house to pick up the chicken for chicken fried steak. Once back he talked racing with two other tables while we were basically ignored. He couldn't even look at us when we asked for more coffee. He just poured it while talking to the others. We felt like we're bothering him. He bragged about all the work he does including payroll and ordering. The owner would do well to dump this kid and hire someone far more competent and knows a thing or two about customer service. read more

I hope that the servers here realize that customer service is an art. Greeting people or at least a smile goes a long way. Handing out menus & treating people like they are putting you out is no way to get repeat business. Making customers remind you of their orders while you take care of latecomers is also not a good idea. Sadly, we were looking forward to checking out your location since it opened. The food at Hangrys at state line is amazing. The fish and chips is my favorite. You get 2 huge pieces of fish and I mean huge with frys and coleslaw. The tarter sauce is homemade. The staff is incredibly kind and right on top of things. The cook Jacobyb makes sausage gravie better then any other restaurant we have tried. The manager Katrina does an exceptional job running the restaurant. All the staff are great. Our favorite place to eat!! read more

Decided to try Hangry's breakfast after hearing awesome things about their burgers, and now I know I should have tried lunch or dinner. Went with the biscuits and gravy breakfast. I'll start with the bad, the hash browns were absolutely horrid, cold and over cooked. My over easy eggs were similarly overdone. The sides were truly terrible. Onto the positives, the biscuits and gravy were hot (maybe they were waiting on that?) and quite good. My friend got the French toast, and that also looked great, although his sides were similarly gross looking. In summary, I will likely give them another chance at impressing me with a burger, but don't know if I'll be back for another breakfast. All that being said, it'll make a turd. read more

Let's start with the service: Kerina is an amazing hostess/server! We loved the ambiance as it had this little town feel walking in and out. The atmosphere is that of a 90s diner, laid back, chill with an automotive twist. The food, 100/10. Absolutely amazing, tastes great, and would highly recommend going here. A little expensive, but the portions are exceptionally large. We got the BLT, with sourdough bread, which was the best sandwich my girlfriend ever had. I had a cheese and bacon burger, which was juicy and flavorful. We split the side of onion rings, which from what we could tell, are made fresh in house and were some of the very best we have ever had. To wrap it all up, we had some shoestring fries, with fry sauce and tartar sauce, both of which are all gone already not even half way through! Overall, one of the best restaurants in North Idaho, and we will 100% be back. Would be great if you open more locations into Idaho! Keep up the amazing work! You're doing it perfect! read more

Disappointed to say the least. I'm not sure why Hangry's on trent is so much better than the one at state line. Went to state line today and ordered the hangry mac. So pathetic...kraft mac and cheese . I ordered it without onions but got onions in it and on top. To my surprise I was charged $3.99 extra for all 3 meats (which I didn't order). There wasn't a 1/4 cup of meat total. Just over $40.00 for 2 meals and one was a salad and onion rings no drinks besides water. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon. Hopefully the one on trent hasn't gone bad. read more
