Lots of room for tables in the spring time

We stopped in for a midmorning breakfast. Not to be disappointed! We were seated within 10 minutes as the place filled up. There were plenty of staff to help all the . Our server, Ian, did an excellent and professional job with a friendly attitude that we truly appreciate. I had a avocado toast with salmon, my favorite. Just enough to fill the belly and leave nothing behind. My partner had bacon and eggs over easy with hashbrowns and toast. Perfectly done. The great place to have breakfast, brunch lunch or stop by for friendly faces and coffee

This is a great spot for breakfast and views! A friend brought me here while visiting, we sat outside in the sun overlooking the river. Perfect views and a quiet atmosphere with a good menu with lots of choices. I had a caramel cold brew, 1/2 sweet and the lobster Benedict. The lobster Benedict was delicious but I wish they would use a little more lobster, I didn't notice very many chunks in it. The service was really good and quick, being late in the summer and a weekday, we were able to be seated right away and it wasn't very busy. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

We really enjoyed Le Peep. Clean place with outdoor seating. We got to sit next to the rail and enjoyed watching the boats go by. My wife had the Chile Relleno Crepes which she really liked. I had the Spinnaker, a very good omelet. Our friend had the Meat Hen Pen which he has had in the past. The only bummer was my food came out about 10-15 minutes after everyone else's food. The waiter said that someone else took it. Service was good and the folks are friendly. Would definitely go back.

Love Le Peep! My only complaint is that they don't sell the shirts that they wear, they're so cute! They validate parking here, and the staff is so friendly, you won't meet one person that isnt helpful. Thank you to our server Emily for adding to the experience. The view of the river is gorgeous, and only adds to the ambience. The food itself is delicious, I've been here multiple times and have yet to be disappointed. It's almost tradition to order cinnamon roll with each meal, it's seriously so perfect.

Rating: four stars We went here for brunch on a Sunday. They don't take reservations, but they validate parking for three hours, and the wait isn't too long. I love going to this restaurant in the summertime. The location is right next to the Spokane River, so you get beautiful views while you eat. And the staff has always been friendly. The food itself is good. I typically get the lumberjack's breakfast, but I switched things up this time around and got a cinnamon roll (to share with the table), and an omelette. I would recommend going here!

Oh, trusty Le Peep. The food is usually good, rarely great. But what IT IS, is consistent with speed, cleanliness, good service, and that beautiful waterfront view. Something this place does that I don't see many breakfast places do is they lean into making drinks like fancy lattes, green juices, matcha, etc. They have an entirely gluten free menu which is amazing, and their seasonal items are always fun. I never walk away feeling like I had an amazing meal, but I always come back knowing I'll have lots of gluten free options and consistency with the overall experience.

They have an extensive gluten free menu that has so many things I typically cannot order. I had the Eggs Benedict. They were amazing!! We sat outside and the views and weather were perfect. Good service also.

Le Peep Café - A Satisfying Brunch with Memorable Flavors We had a lovely brunch at Le Peep Café in Coeur d'Alene, with a few standout dishes and some minor drawbacks that didn't take away too much from the overall experience. The highlight of our meal was the Rock Lobster Scramble. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked--soft, fluffy, and well-balanced with brie cheese and tender chunks of lobster. The dish was rich, buttery, and indulgent in the best way. It was served on a thick plate, which I believe helped retain heat, keeping the scramble warm until the last bite. The potato side and bread weren't quite as impressive--fairly standard and less memorable--but since the scramble was the main attraction, it didn't feel like a major loss, especially considering the reasonable price point. We also ordered a grilled trout side, which was cooked to near perfection. The skin was crisp, though it was served skin-down, which can soften the crispiness. I flipped it over right away to preserve the texture, and it held up beautifully. The inside was moist, flavorful, and well-grilled--a true nod to Idaho's regional specialty. At $9.50 pre-tax and tip, it felt like a fair price for the portion and quality, especially for visitors looking to experience local trout. The vanilla latte, however, was overly sweet and too milky for our taste. At $6.50, we expected a better balance of coffee and flavor. That said, sweeter lattes may be the norm in smaller towns like Coeur d'Alene, so others may enjoy it more than we did. Service was friendly and attentive. The owner even came by to check in, which we appreciated. However, we did encounter a sticky table and one dirty cup when we first sat down. While the staff handled it quickly and kindly, it's worth noting as an area for improvement in overall cleanliness. Final Thoughts Le Peep Café offers delicious, thoughtfully-prepared brunch options with standouts like the lobster scramble and grilled trout. While there's room for improvement on some sides and service details, the flavor, portion size, and warm service made it a spot we'd be happy to return to--especially for anyone exploring Coeur d'Alene and looking to try a local twist on brunch favorites.

The wife and I decided to check out this eatery today when our errand was done. Pretty nondescript appearance on the outside. The inside was nice but nothing that really stands out. The staff was friendly and professional. They seem like cool folks. The menu had plenty of options without being overloaded. Our meals hit the spot and the price didn't beat up our wallet. Chicken fried steak was yummy and my eggs were cooked just right. My potatoes were underwhelming and a little bland. My wife thought her meal (the wanderer) it was a 7 out of 10 and also found it a little underwhelming. The outside seating was amazing and right on the water. It wouldn't be my must come again but I wouldn't avoid this place. I think anyone wanting to come here would enjoy their meal.

Great time for breakfast at Le Peep! The Idaho trout is to die for. Perfectly cooked and delicious! The coffees, eggs, and bread choices are great too along with the view.

My dad and I stopped here on our drive back to Washington. It was a great find! When we got there, there was a line of people for the hostess stand. We put our name down and were told a 10-15 minute wait and were seated in about 10 minutes. They have seating and free coffee while you wait which I thought was rly great!! They have an extensive Gluten free menu which I was in awe of. The vibe loud but not excessively so and the view is great. The service was great, we were checked on frequently and at one point the coffee machine broke so there was a wait for coffee and the, what I assume was the owner, came out to apologize for the wait. Great experience and would come again. Omelette 4.5/5: I feel like it's pretty hard to screw up an omelette. It wasn't anything crazy special but very tasty. I would order it again. Trout and Eggs 5/5: my dad ordered this and absolutely loved it. He finished it all and would order again Orange juice 4/5: doesn't taste super fresh but good all the same Pot coffee 4.5/5: rly good for pot coffee

Excellent experience!! Loved the food, the service and the view! I had the Very Berry French Toast stuffed with ricotta and topped with berries (I love berries) and it did not disappoint!! 570 cals btw, I loved that they had calories for everything on the menu!! My wife ordered a pancake sandwich, she loved it. The food as excellent. Alexis our server was very attentive and friendly. And if the divide and the food were not excellent, which the absolutely were, that amazing view of the Spokane River would and upped it. So I would give these guys a 6 star!!! Thank you!!

I went here for my birthday breakfast as I have been wanting to try it for a while. I ordered the Homestead Breakfast for $12.49 and my husband got the Eighteen Wheeler for $13.99. The Homestead came with two biscuits with sausage gravy, two eggs and breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were well seasoned and the eggs were tender but the biscuits were very dry and tough. I ended up eating one and gave the other to my husband as he was still hungry from his breakfast. The Eighteen Wheeler came with two French toasts, two eggs, breakfast potatoes and four sausage links. My husband said the French toasts were tasty and the sausage had good flavor but the potatoes were sparce and he was still hungry after eating all of his food. The location of this resturant was great. It was right on the lake and had beautiful views. Our waitress was fine, but could have come and checked on us as we were out of water for about 15 minutes. I was concerned that we would have to pay for parking but they actually validated which was really nice.

I'm not a huge coffee guy, so I couldn't tell you whether or not the coffee was good here. But my wife is a huge coffee person and she says that the cold brew especially is really good. I usually get a tea when I come in and the teas have all been quite good. The main things that bring this location down to four stars are: indoor seating, parking lot, and prices. First up... there isn't a lot of indoor seating, and it's also not super "cozy" like I want it to be. If you're looking for a place to sit down curl up and read your book while sipping on a coffee on a rainy afternoon they will probably be an open seat, but it's not going to be a comfy open seat, and they will probably be a bunch of other people around. Second, the parking lot is really weird. Half of it is on one side of the building the other half is on the other side of the building it's confusing on how to get in and out of and whether or not you're going into the right side. Last... The price. Look, I'm sure owning a small business is tough to try to turn a profit. But coffee and tea just shouldn't be this expensive. I think I might have to make a rule for all coffee shops that no coffee shop can get five stars unless it's not super expensive. I do want to say before I go, that everyone who works here is super friendly and welcoming. I've really appreciated the people who work here every time that I've been in. They're also really great with my kids, and I have four little kids, and it's a nice touch when you bring them into establishment where people are cool and treat them well. But it's a really nice local coffee shop. Definitely worth checking out.

I'll start with that I do love the layout of the interior and exterior of the building. It's a cute aesthetic! If you can get there early enough there are a few parking spots that are shaded LOL because who wants to climb into a burning hot car? Where there is room for improvement starts with during my family's visit we encountered a random woman (who stated that she was an off-the-clock employee) who beau-guarded my mom to approach my five-year-old in their personal space to loudly declare for them to come over and grab some crayons. By no means is that okay to push past a child's family to bait a child to approach a stranger. The appropriate thing would be to speak with the adults of the group and let them know who you are and what Starbucks has to offer. The next thing as we were working a Starbucks employee approached our table the individual walked around our table asking us "How was our day?" "What were we doing?" amongst other questions, repeating themselves over 15 times circling our table like a vulture. None of us responded for a long time as were in our personal space minding our business. Normally, if you approach someone and ask them questions 1-2 times and they don't respond that is a social cue that they want to be left alone. No employee is entitled to try to force a customer to hold a conversation with them. I finally answered because the employee at that rate was badgering my group and making us feel uncomfortable. She shared some great tips on things we can do as members at Starbucks. The information given was great and appreciated. We learned some new things that we've since applied. But, how the employee went about trying to provide great customer service was once again not appropriate under any circumstances. Overall, the bakery and drinks were delicious minus the refill order that was purchased. What we got was a *Birthday cake pop *Trenta iced matcha lemonade 3 pumps vanilla syrup, 5 packets sugar in sugar in the raw *strawberry puree 7 packets of honey 7 scoops of matcha powder *Venti Matcha Tea Latte with 10 pumps vanilla syrup, 10 pumps liquid cane sugar vanilla sweet cream * a Trenta and venti iced passion iced passion tango tea w/ 10 pumps of liquid cane sugar The employees were kind (but intrusive) into customers' space. I would return to Starbucks again and give them another go.

They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers.
