The staff are friendly and accommodating and the owner personable and inviting. Definitely a place to come and enjoy a food filled evening. The drinks- well prepared and warm; martinis are always on happy hour and the smoked old fashioned tastes like a campfire. Will definitely return.

It's very affordable, yet the food feels incredibly elegant and thoughtfully crafted. I honestly wasn't expecting how elevated and beautifully prepared everything was. We ordered the buffalo mac & cheese, turkey huckleberry sandwich, chips, crab cakes, and fish & chips--and every single dish was delicious. You can truly tell the food is scratch-made and prepared with care. The cakes and desserts were outstanding as well--fresh, rich, and full of flavor. All of the sweets tasted truly homemade. The service was amazing, and the interior is cozy, beautiful, and welcoming. It's the perfect spot for an afternoon or late lunch with friends. Gathered is great for couples, small gatherings, and larger parties--they really have a space for everyone. What I also loved is that Gathered is connected to The Purple Onion Catering and Stacie's Cakes, which explains the incredible quality of the food and desserts. They specialize in everything from tiered wedding cakes and birthday cupcakes to plated prime rib dinners and festive taco bars. Their passion truly shows in every detail, and they make hosting events stress-free while delivering top-quality taste at an affordable price. This family-owned and operated business provides such warm, welcoming service, whether you're stopping in for lunch or planning a special event. If you're looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, or catering for a memorable event, this is absolutely a place you don't want to miss. Highly recommend!

When you're 2/3rs through a 12 hour drive and you can get hot, fresh smashburgers and skinny fries and frozen custard? Yes please, I'll take two. So I was driving to Cabela's to do some Christmas shopping last month, and I darn near gave myself whiplash when I saw that Post Falls had a Freddy's. I was lucky that there wasn't any police nearby because I'm pretty sure I broke some traffic laws whipping my truck around and getting into the parking lot. I entered with some amount of trepidation. Was my memory of Freddy's just a product of being hungry during a drive? Was their custard going to be as good? Were the fries going to be hot enough to scald my fingers as I scarfed them down? It was as good as I remembered. And the fries were hot and fresh. Even though it's not in my normal area of travel, I'm going to make excuses to go get burgers there.

We ordered two Grilled Chicken Club sandwiches with no mayonnaise, add mustard, and a large fry. Our food arrived quickly but they should have taken more time. The fries were cold and chewy and looked like a normal size, and the chicken sandwich had mayonnaise on it. The flavors were okay and the service was friendly. I would give the food a 2 but the service a 3. The lobby was cute, but next time we'll try the other new restaurant next door.

My wife and I had a rare night out for dinner last night and we were in Post Falls. The White House Grill is famous for their garlicky foods (not all) and we like that. We could smell garlic at the entrance. My wife ordered a version of a gyro and Greek salad, which she described as "OK." It was a pita with curried chicken, unlike what she preferred as a gyro (chicken, no curry), but she tried it. I ordered the souvlaki (lamb kabobs), served over a large bed of rice and with "garlicky" green beans. The lamb, by the way was very tough to cut and to chew, more like mutton but not with any fat. Rethinking, I shouldn't have tried lamb at all, simply on ethics (mine). It looked enticing but I couldn't taste any of it. That is because I couldn't smell any of it, even when holding the plate right under my nose. No smell, no taste. That was because our 18-ish server was reeking of perfume, like she bathed in it. I believe there was another servicer of about the same age walking around with the same odor. It reminded me of a church service and elderly ladies. The most difficult part here is that our server was great! She was clear-spoken, sharp, and friendly. I just couldn't breathe when she came to our table (3-4 times). Maybe she doesn't like to smell garlic or want to smell like it, herself, but I can't return. I have two adult children who are both professional servers, so I hope these young women will understand and make adjustments for the customers. She truly is great at her job, otherwise.

Was very disappointed in that. And one person didn't get their food till the rest of us were almost finished. We were approached about 'how troublesome splitting the bill was going to be' ...yet we had no intention of splitting the bill and only wanted one check. No one was ever able to order a second beverage. And we got the bread after our food, once we asked if our meals came with bread. We didn't feel very welcome. We realize it was a busy night and we THOUGHT we had planned accordingly, only to be treated as an inconvenience. Also, Both people who ordered the burger special were sick as soon as we got home. Overall disappointing experience that we'd hoped would be a great night out for our group. Positive note: apps were DELICIOUS
