You go, Girl...!
Jeff B.

Gotta say that it was best to come here with the low expectations that I had for lunch, haha. It actually allowed for me to be more pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed my Fried Oyster basket, and although some were small, I definitely got a few more than the stated allotment of eight per basket. Where they won the day was with their boils. Wifey loves her seafood, and her boil was filled with really decent sized snow crabs and shrimp. We were both happily shocked by that. Our apps (Hush Puppies/Calamari) were probably from a frozen bag, but oh well, they got us started for the big lunch. All-in-all, pretty reasonable joint to get a Cajun fix---price-wise and flavor-wise...

Dirty little liars. Delivery from Uber eats, supposed to be 1lb of each, shrimp, crawfish and crab. Over 3lbs. 2.13lbs with sausage, potato and corn.

#2 1IB Snow Crab and 1IB Shrimp - Cajun, Hot

Loved this meal so much I can't wait to come back! Shared this with someone and it was the perfect amount! The eggs were okay I would say you could skip them. The Cajun seasoning was delicious! With lemon I was so amazed will be returning very soon.

The food is awesome & it could be a great, unforgettable experience if they get friendlier waitresses! They give you bibs, etc.. it should have been a blast! I took my elderly mother & my 9 year old grandson their to celebrate grandpa's birthday, but my mother accidentally spilled a beer & the waitresses we had didn't hand us a rag, offer a new drink, or anything! She threw a 'slippery when wet' sign by us & acted like we had some communicable disease! Thank God a sweet waitress came and took care of us! Wanting to get out of there, I left the unfriendly waitress a $20 tip that really should have went to the waitress that took care of us after the incident! I would go back because I think it deserves another chance, but I would request a different waitress if she was the one serving us again!

Pretty decent place. Service was alright, waited a while to get order. But afterwards it came decently quick. Food was alright, nothing super amazing, but it's a fun experience if you're into seafood.

First, the outside looks alot more ragged than the inside. The curb appeal is lacking. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and very on the spot. We got two of the specials. One with crayfish, snow crab, shrimp and sausage. The other one had Dungeness crab, and shrimp. The Dungeness was a little skimpy per serving? And they forgot the shrimp at first. They quickly fixed the shrimp problem. I would stick to the snow crab next time. They do have a military discount as well. Everything was great, I just wish the crab servings were just a tad bigger.

Snow crab with head off shrimp, comes with corn, potatoes, and we added eggs.

The service was very fast and my server was very attentive and sweet. The food came out super fast and you definitely get a bang for your buck during the lunch special. The spice, flavor, and spicy level were all perfect, great flavor, the snow crab cracks great and tastes wonderful. Shrimp was yummy, along with the eggs, potatoes, etc. keep in mind I have tried crab boils in New York, Hawaii, Idaho, Albuquerque, etc. it's my favorite food and this was the best I've had in terms of price, service, and quality. Would recommend, I'm going to miss this restaurant after I head back home

The seafood was prepared as I would expect from a fast food restaurant. Overcooked and flavorless.

While I can't claim to have been to tons…read moreof restaurants in the area, this one made me decide I needed to come back to Spokane to get more of their amazing Corn Bread and try some other places in the area. Let me just say... their cornbread. So good. I was visiting on a work trip and I loved my experience at the restaurant so much I returned the next day with a friend also in town for work. The cornbread is like a dessert even if it's meant to be an appetizer. Now every time I come into town, even if I don't eat at the restaurant, I order at least two cornbreads to take home with me. I will say one time they did burn it and I hadn't realized it til I was already well on my way back to the west side. The most recent time I went about 3 weeks ago the cornbread was not burnt, but I feel like it wasn't AS good as I recalled the other 4 times I went to the restaurant. Next time I'm in the area, I'll opt to eat in the restaurant and enjoy it fresh! Every time I've been, I have had great service. The staff is always kind even if they're slammed! The first time I went I chatted with the bartender since I was alone and sat at the bar. They also have really great drinks! Finally, their bathrooms are nicely decorated! Definitely have recommended this place to many!

However, on this occasion, I had a very bad experience, one that I feel is not a one off, but how the restaurant is now. I ordered their Gumbo bowl for lunch, along with a cocktail. Upon receiving it, I was shocked by the looks of it. It was dried out, pasty, looking like the leftovers from the night prior that had dried out and scraped up from the bottom of the pot. I asked the server what this was and he told me it was the gumbo. I told him gumbo does not look like what you are serving. My server's response? "Well, this is how we serve it now!" Like that all I was going to get from him. Well, their "new" gumbo tasted as bad as it looked. The over condensed stew was over salted. Just tasted like pasty crap. My good friend who dined with me was just shocked they would serve that dish to me. If you're planning on trying this restaurant, don't expect a good experience. I was wondering why the restaurant was only half full at lunch. Other people have obviously found out the downward change.

Extremely extremely extremely underwhelming for a $148 tab…read more The leisurely is an option where the entire table has to participate. They charge you $57 a person, and you share the meal. I felt as if our server should have told us immediately that this was a shared option, but even then to make every person pay $57 is nuts for the portion of food that you receive. We are content creator, so we happen to record every dish that we received. ( the leisurely) First thing they brought out was roasted nuts and marinated olives. (6/10). Some of the olives were hard, but the roasted nuts were pretty good. 2. My wife is allergic to shrimp so they were gonna bring out the grilled ponds but instead the chef decided to bring out brussels sprouts. (2/10). It was awful. I almost gagged legitimately, and my wife felt the same, the brussels sprouts also had a foul smell to them as if they were spoiled. - it was paired with the winter salad. In my opinion, that was the second best thing that they brought out. It was very rich in flavor, colorful as well. 3. They then brought out some pasta. Tagliatelle Pasta. This is the best thing that they brought out. The noodles were fresh and the meat choice ( roast) paired very well and it was mildly flavorful, enough to swing both ways but we'd say it swung in the right direction. I'd give it 8.5/10. 4. They then brought out steelhead trout with couscous and cauliflower with roasted carrots. - I think the audacity to give two full grown adults. A 1/3 portion of fish is quite literally disrespectful. It was so disrespectful until it just made me want to leave even more than I did whenever they brought out the brussels sprouts. The piece of fish itself was not seasoned, but it happened to pair slightly with the couscous and whatever sauce. It was quinoa actually.. (6.5/10) flavor wise. I hate really complaining about food, but this was so underwhelming.. that I may have contested the bill if my baby didn't poop out of his clothes during the visit. I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Volleyball tournament at Eastern U but decided to stay in Spokane @The Louie (check out that review too) for the weekend AND IT'S RESTAURANT WEEK, YAY US!!! Note: this may not be a long review because I put off writing this review. In short food and service is spot on. GO AND TRY! Make sure you go during happy hour so you can try a bunch of food and if you're not full yet order dinner, LOL We walk in on a Friday night not knowing restaurant week was happening and decided to walk over early since we're meeting up with friends...so happy hour just started too! Now we got SPOILED because we're looking at three different menus: happy hour, restaurant week and their everyday menu. Each had something we wanted to try so let the ordering / food fest begin! Street corn ribs, Brussels chip = super light, pokè tostada, steelhead chowder (not pictured), halibut, sea bass...many cocktails since we walked and dessert. We had dinner with friends so there was much more food on the table than in the review. And if you get to the bottom of this review and don't try Steelhead Bar & Grille when in Spokane, it'll be your loss!

My husband was not impressed with the vegetable tempura as the veggies were cooked until they were soft, he prefers vegetables to be more al dente. I loved the vegetable tempura however and did not feel the veggies I tried were too soft. My husband traded his miso soup for my mushroom and onion soup. I tried both and they were both delicious but he does not enjoy miso soup while I do. I ordered the filet and lobster combination dinner with white rice. The filet was delicious. The lobster did not taste fresh. It was pretty fishy tasting. I told the waitress who promptly apologized and offered to replace it with a different item. She took the lobster tail and I agreed to switch it for the shrimp. She brought the shrimp out to me just a few minutes later and it was very delicious and tasted fresh. The veggies served with my dinner entree were so wonderfully flavored and cooked just how I like. My husband had the pad thai with beef and he loved it so much. This was our first time coming to Shiki and I must say we will definitely be coming back. Overall wonderful service and aside from the lobster everything tasted so good.
