The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu, although our waitress has a strong accent and was hard to understand. They bring your order out in large plastic bags. (steamed shrimp, crawfish, crab legs, and sausage - with corn and potatoes) you can dump it in the tray or eat out of the bag. We had 2 combination orders and had enough for 5. Gotta say that it was best to come here with the low expectations that I had for lunch, haha. It actually allowed for me to be more pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed my Fried Oyster basket, and although some were small, I definitely got a few more than the stated allotment of eight per basket. Where they won the day was with their boils. Wifey loves her seafood, and her boil was filled with really decent sized snow crabs and shrimp. We were both happily shocked by that. The food is awesome & it could be a great, unforgettable experience if they get friendlier waitresses! They give you bibs, etc.. it should have been a blast! I took my elderly mother & my 9 year old grandson their to celebrate grandpa's birthday, but my mother accidentally spilled a beer & the waitresses we had didn't hand us a rag, offer a new drink, or anything! She threw a 'slippery when wet' sign by us & acted like we had some communicable disease! Thank God a sweet waitress came and took care of us! Wanting to get out of there, I left the unfriendly waitress a $20 tip that really should have went to the waitress that took care of us after the incident! First, the outside looks alot more ragged than the inside. The curb appeal is lacking. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and very on the spot. We got two of the specials. Came here with the wife for my bday from Coeur d'Alene as it's the only place like this in the area. If done right, it's the best thing to feast on and lemme tell ya, it was done right! Went with the summer special which was 1/2lbs shrimp, snow and Dungeness crab with corn, potatoes and sausage. Cajun flavored and man it was packed with great flavor and just the right spice level. Ok first off - I hate seafood. But my group loves it! So I'm rating partially off their opinions. I had the popcorn chicken (cooked well, Cajun dipping sauce is excellence); the fries (double fried deliciousness) and the hush puppies (hard to find in Washington so I was happy). 10/10 would come back. Crawfish is frozen and I understands it's because of some local law that doesn't allow live crawfish import. The frozen crawfish is not good, taste bad. Good spot for a crawfish boil when in Spokane, WA. Love their sauce! Since I grew up in Maryland, I love seafood places that let you have Old Bay Seasoning on the side! There are very few that offer Old Bay Seasoning in Las Vegas. Service was pretty good. The Latina servers were more friendly than the Asian ones. YES! FINALLY! I'm from the south and this food brought me right back there. It's fairly priced and seasoned perfectly. Service was top notch and the beers were cold. We got a pound of crawfish, a pound of shrimp and a half pound of sausage. The crawfish were HUGE and yummy. The shrimp were a fair size but could have been bigger tbh. The sausage was tasty but maybe cut too thin? Every bag comes with corn and potatoes. The corn was not good. No flavor even with all the juices from the seafood. Feels like it was frozen probably. The potatoes were nice and soft and easy to eat. The sweet tea was obviously homemade but if you're from the south it ain't nothin' like southern sweet tea. I wish I never would've ordered from here. The calamari was NOT real, all of the calamari came in strips, it was very dry, not even the breading would come off of it! The shrimp also had very thick breading and was dry, big surprise, hush puppies were overcooked-no complaints about that breading but tasted strange inside and had a slight freezer burn taste. Yummy Crab gives you exactly what you expect, I love a good seafood boil & they deliver. Sometimes the crab is a little small or fishy but that's kind of everywhere in my opinion.
