The service and ambiance was perfect nothing to change. The historic building feel is comforting and charming making you feel like it's the place to be. The food was terrible. All 3 courses were not good at all start 1st with the shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to tough. They were stuck on the skewers and were not easy to remove. The shrimp also was not cleaned and deveined properly. I would rate it a 1 out of 10. The blackened salmon was decent but the risotto that came with it was salty and had hard pieces of rice mixed that were not thoroughly cooked. I'd give it a 3 out 10 just cause the salmon was decent. The jalapeno cilantro infused fettuccini Alfredo sounds like it would be excellent but it was lacking flavor and the plate presentation was sloppy. The dish could have been good but it was lacking flavor and I'd rate it a 3 out of 10. The huckleberry berry shortcake was not good at all the biscuits say they were made from scratch but the tasted store bought and old and the lemon sorbet with the Rosina amaro pairing tasted like medicine. The two 3rd course desserts were the icing on a horrible dinner for restaurant week. Not sure if I'll ever go back to this restaurant. read more

We've been to the restaurant occupying the space at Indigo Hotel several times. We like the ambiance and the close proximity to The Fox and The Bing. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, things seem to be declining. The last time we went, we made a reservation. The place was fairly quiet. It took 15 minutes+ to get drinks. We ordered dinner shortly after. Sadly, we don't think management planned ahead for the pre-concert crowd. Forty five minutes later, no dinner in sight. We paid for our drinks and left, too late to find something else to eat. They had one bartender and two servers, no host. Clearly understaffed. Hoping things improve because it could be the great space it once was when it was Magnolia an American Bistro. read more

Doña Magnolia has just opened with their new and fresh menu and it is absolutely amazing. The full menu isn't available yet, but about 80% of it was! The menu has an eclectic mix of Mexican, Italian, Asian, and French flavors. The arancini has the perfect cheese ratio and the garnish of greens, marinara, and pesto was a wonderful touch. I would order a side of pesto if I could, because it's that delicious. The Rosé Pasta had a wonderful flavor fusion of garlic and marinara, topped with a perfectly blackened and juicy chicken breast. The New York Steak was PERFECTLY cooked to taste and the chimichurri on top was absolutely to die for. This broccoli and squash had the most amazing buttery flavor ever. The service was outstanding, our server was so attentive and polite. Head chef and owner(s) were checking in periodically to make sure that our food was cooked properly and to gain insights on our opinions on flavors, etc. The vibe in here is perfect for quite a few occasions. I would get lunch here with friends, date night dinner, or even just hang out at the bar. There are 2 TV's in the bar area which are super nice if you want to catch a game. Overall, I am so pumped the new owners took over this space. It is very clear that a lot of love and thought went into re-opening this lovely space and I can't wait to see it flourish. 10/10 would recommend and I think everyone needs to check out this new spot and support the new owners! read more

First time we've been here. The menu was really good and different. We got the Arancini appetizer. Which is deep fried risotto balls. The house made pesto that came with them (along with marinara) was to die for. I'm usually not a huge pesto fan, but this was legit! Wish I could take some home! My husband got the Paella. He wasn't a fan of the crispy outside of the rice, and it came with chicken instead of the listed scallops. So he wasn't thrilled about that. I got the Bolognese. It was so good. Loved the noodles. How I wish it was homemade pasta. That would have made it a 10/10 but it was still great, so I'd say an 8/10. We also got a huckleberry margarita. I thought it was really good. Was a bit sweet for my husband. I definitely want to go back to try some more of the menu. read more

Came upon this restaurant accidentally when the restaurant we were planning to go to was closed for lunch. Bright and modern space - menu was an interesting mix of Asian/Mexican/Spanish/American dishes. I tried the salmon tacos - they were yummy! A nice mix of salmon, greens, a little bit of sweet. My husband had the steak quesadilla, which was not groundbreaking but he said it was a very nicely prepared quesadilla. Women's bathroom was clean, bright, and had a spacious handicapped stall as well as diaper changing area. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area! read more

My friends and I went here for dinner and I ordered the Arancini and Paella. The arancini was okay, when I've had them before there's usually cheese inside which added more flavor to it. The paella I was very excited to try since it's one of my favorite dishes. The rice was overcooked and soggy. And it was missing the socarrat, which is the crispy, savory, and caramelized part of paella if cooked correctly. To me, that is one of the best parts of paella and I was disappointed this paella didn't have it. It was pretty salty for me too and I couldn't eat most of it. Some of the seafood was cold as well, I'm not sure if that was because they were cooking them separately or not. The paella had chicken in it which was not listed and the scallops were tiny bay scallops which I was not a fan of. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. I would consider going back to try another dish, but I would not get the paella or arancini again. read more

Three of us went to this restaurant under new management. It was great. It was an early birthday dinner. I got the steak which I loved and my son and husband got the braised beef. They both thoroughly enjoyed the braised beef and my steak was medium rare just as I like it. We also got two bread puddings. Blue berry and pumpkin. Both I liked but all three of us preferred the blue berry. It was an experience we all enjoyed. read more

Overall food and service was excellent. The restaurant has new owners so many bad reviews had a different experience than the what you may have currently. I had the braised beef it was excellent. Wrote a similar review on Google. The food was fantastic. It was my wife son and I. Both my son and I got the braised beef. Honestly some of the most fork tender beef I've had. Service was just as good. Ambiance I would say is good although it was not full so this can be hard to judge. read more

We were a bit apprehensive of going to this restaurant as it only has 3.7 out of 5 stars.  After an analyzing the reviews it appeared that a large amount of the negative reviews were either prior to the new owners or during their start up.  With that said, we went there for dinner and we were glad we did.  An excellent menu with unique items.  We started with the Arancini, it was as expected. Fried rice balls. The Marinara and the Pesto paired very well with them. Next, Jalapeño Cilantro Infused Alfredo Pasta and Braised Beef and Gnocchi.  The Jalapeno pasta was delicious.  The pasta was done perfectly. The Gnocchi was soft and creamy, the Beef was fall apart tender. The entire dish had a rich gravy.  The staff was attentive and pleasant. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try other dishes on their menu. read more

Apparently their kitchen closes at 8:45pm... restaurant is "open until 930pm" so what does that mean? When I called at 8pm asking for a table at 8:30 the person who answered basically implied not to come in. So... what's the point of a 9:30pm close time. read more
