Spaghetti & meatballs in a zesty Italian sauce.
Tim H.

Fast, hot, 3 COURSE, spaghetti & meatballs! Christine was very kind and helpful. I love that the salad & bread arrived so quick. Though the parking was fairly full, I was in/out in no time, and wasn't rushed. Kudos Ferraro's crew!

Large portions, cozy atmosphere, staff were attentive. Food was delicious! I will definitely be back.

Family Style Salad
Leslie W.

Our first visit to Ferraro's. We did not have the 4-5 star experience that many others are reporting. We were seated quickly on a Friday night at 6:00. Traditional decor, pictures of Italy, checkered table clothes. The staff was very nice and helpful. No issues there. I understand not all restaurants will have every dish but an Italian restaurant should have a Carbonara. This was what I wanted and why we went for Italian. Asked if they had it as I did not see it on the menu and no they do not have it. Okay decided just to go with the Fettuccini Alfredo on the menu that came with a salad and bread. The salad came family style and they give you small plastic containers to add your own dressing to your separate bowl. Not a big deal but not very nice to come in plastic. I expected more. Husband had the clam special. The food was just okay. Mine was a bit too al dente for my liking but I ate it anyway and not much flavor. Husband liked his but said it was nothing special. We also ordered a bottle of wine. No wine list. Just a few bottles to choose from on a table menu board. They had one that we like, Hogue Cabernet so ordered that. The waitress opened the bottle and filled our glasses. When she set the bottle down I noticed the label and it was not what we had ordered, the Hogue Cabernet. I said that was not what we ordered. She said they actually don't have the Hogue wine and this is what they had today. Huh? I told her I don't like just any wine. She said that they don't have the same bottles every day and that the distributor brings what they have and that is what they serve. Um, I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. If I order a certain bottle of wine I do expect that bottle, not a replacement and certainly not without being told or asked first. Especially when you are advertising Hogue and at $25.00 giving me some generic. Is this bait and switch? I am pretty upset at paying 25.00 for a generic wine. If you don't have what you are advertising at the table then either take it off or advise patrons and don't assume that making the switch is okay without asking. Prices were over $20.00 each. Yes it came with bread and salad. Bread was just bread. Not what I expected, I was wanting nice crusty bread but this was just a random loaf. Nothing special. Mediocre at best. Really. At best.

a building with a pergolated roof

Building looks like it's been here for a while, so that's probably good... I was seated in the corner booth with no view, perhaps because I was by myself. There was six other booths open with views out the windows. The value was good, free bread, and complementary spumoni... Seafood fettuccine was great, salad was great. It would be five stars, but the host had me watching other patrons, instead of looking out the windows. My waitress warmed up and became friendlier throughout the meal, so that's good. I do recommend.

Great service from Kelly! Passing through on a road trip! They let us have our dog outside! Huge portions amazing lasagna meals came with soup or salad and ice cream for dessert

Parking is street parking only, and it gets tight once the restaurant gets busy. The atmosphere started out quiet but quickly turned lively as the night went on. The space feels clean, cozy, and homey, a good mix of casual and upscale without feeling stuffy. Service was excellent. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly, professional, and perfectly timed, attentive without hovering or rushing us. For food, I ordered the Brussels sprouts with jalapeno, ham, and parmesan, also had the butternut squash agnolotti with sage butter. The agnolotti was well made and rich, though a touch on the sweet side for my taste. The Brussels sprouts were fine, but the mild jalapenos caught me off guard. My friend had the chicory salad and really enjoyed it. In hindsight, I wished I had gone with something a little lighter too. Overall, it was a good meal with warm service and a comfortable atmosphere. I would go back, but next time I would explore another item on the menu.

Fabulous service. I love that open-air GarageDoor atmosphere. What I Ordered at Italia Trattoria: * Focaccia Bread with olive oil & balsamic * Charred Octopus Salad - citrus, fennel, herbs (would 100% order again) * Panzanella Salad - heirloom tomatoes, focaccia croutons, shaved parmesan * Gnocchi alla Sorrentina - tender potato gnocchi in rich tomato sauce * Spaghetti & Meatballs - classic comfort done right * Grilled Lamb Tongue - with tzatziki, heirloom tomato, and olives * Tiramisu - whipped, airy, chocolate-dusted perfection. * La Jolie Fleur Rosé (2022) - light, elegant, and summery * Lucien Albrecht Crémant Rosé - crisp, floral, and beautifully chilled Their menu is a gem for adventurous food lovers -- think boar, lamb tongue, and octopus done right. Unexpected cuts, unforgettable flavor.

Extremely extremely extremely underwhelming for a $148 tab…read more The leisurely is an option where the entire table has to participate. They charge you $57 a person, and you share the meal. I felt as if our server should have told us immediately that this was a shared option, but even then to make every person pay $57 is nuts for the portion of food that you receive. We are content creator, so we happen to record every dish that we received. ( the leisurely) First thing they brought out was roasted nuts and marinated olives. (6/10). Some of the olives were hard, but the roasted nuts were pretty good. 2. My wife is allergic to shrimp so they were gonna bring out the grilled ponds but instead the chef decided to bring out brussels sprouts. (2/10). It was awful. I almost gagged legitimately, and my wife felt the same, the brussels sprouts also had a foul smell to them as if they were spoiled. - it was paired with the winter salad. In my opinion, that was the second best thing that they brought out. It was very rich in flavor, colorful as well. 3. They then brought out some pasta. Tagliatelle Pasta. This is the best thing that they brought out. The noodles were fresh and the meat choice ( roast) paired very well and it was mildly flavorful, enough to swing both ways but we'd say it swung in the right direction. I'd give it 8.5/10. 4. They then brought out steelhead trout with couscous and cauliflower with roasted carrots. - I think the audacity to give two full grown adults. A 1/3 portion of fish is quite literally disrespectful. It was so disrespectful until it just made me want to leave even more than I did whenever they brought out the brussels sprouts. The piece of fish itself was not seasoned, but it happened to pair slightly with the couscous and whatever sauce. It was quinoa actually.. (6.5/10) flavor wise. I hate really complaining about food, but this was so underwhelming.. that I may have contested the bill if my baby didn't poop out of his clothes during the visit. I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

We had a group of eight and there was a lot of "not ready yet" which the staff handled with ease. Food came out quickly but mostly all at the same time. We had a few items that came out later but it was reasonable and expected. Ambiance is very nice, simple but elegant. You would feel comfortable coming in dressed up or casual. Let's get to the nitty gritty, the food quality was very good, taste was a knock out. The pasta and sauce was good enough that I was looking for specific tastes so I could recreate it, that's what I hope for in a restaurant! And there was fresh bread, oh how I could wax poetic about fresh bread and so few restaurants are on this very simple add. Dessert - I'm always hypercritical of crème brûle because like bread it's pretty simple ingredients but takes some care, Muzuna's nailed it. All in all you should stop in for dinner and you won't be disappointed!

We had a 6:00 reservation, bumped it to 5:30, showed up at 5:00 anyway (because of course we did), and they kindly seated us in the bar area. Cozy little spot... no complaints there. Our waitress was great. Friendly, patient, and willing to roll with my nonsense... which is saying something. I had a free birthday entrée (buy one, get one free), promptly ordered something that wasn't on the birthday menu, realized my mistake, and pivoted back to my usual Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter. Zero regrets. It's my go-to and it absolutely delivered. I ordered the Hearty Meal, which apparently translates to "Sir, here is a mountain of pasta." I barely finished it. I absolutely should not have finished it. I finished it anyway... because I am fat and that is how I roll. My wife ordered the Chicken Marsala. Her official review: "The chicken was OK." However... she loved the Mizithra pasta (a lot). She also enjoyed the Foundry Punch enough to have two, which is always a good sign. Between the two of us, we demolished about a loaf and a half of bread like it was our job. Dessert was spumoni ice cream. My wife had a little. I had mine... and then the rest of hers. Teamwork. The atmosphere was great. It was quiet, they had the playoff game on, so I got dinner and sports... win-win. Prices and value were exactly what you expect from OSF... no surprise fees, no menu gymnastics. They got very busy shortly after we arrived. When we sat down, it was us and one other couple in the bar. By the time we left, every table was full. Nothing wild happened, nothing bad happened... just a good, solid visit. Will we be back? Yep. And next time I might pretend I won't eat the entire plate... but we all know how that ends.
