I love The Old Soaghetti Factory. Been going there for over 50 years! Started with my parents taking me and now I go with my grandson & friends. For years I ordered the Potpourri with a sausage. Now, I usually order the Manager's Favorite with meatballs. Love the mushroom sauce and rotate the second one. My only complaint is parking. There is none specifically for them, not even a handicap spot. That makes it very challenging for someone like me who has difficulties walking very far. read more

We'll give The Old Spaghetti Factory a solid four stars. My wife was extremely hungry... the kind of hungry where time slows down and bad decisions loom. We had a 6:00 reservation, bumped it to 5:30, showed up at 5:00 anyway (because of course we did), and they kindly seated us in the bar area. Cozy little spot... no complaints there. Our waitress was great. Friendly, patient, and willing to roll with my nonsense... which is saying something. I had a free birthday entrée (buy one, get one free), promptly ordered something that wasn't on the birthday menu, realized my mistake, and pivoted back to my usual Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter. Zero regrets. It's my go-to and it absolutely delivered. I ordered the Hearty Meal, which apparently translates to "Sir, here is a mountain of pasta." I barely finished it. I absolutely should not have finished it. I finished it anyway... because I am fat and that is how I roll. My wife ordered the Chicken Marsala. Her official review: "The chicken was OK." However... she loved the Mizithra pasta (a lot). She also enjoyed the Foundry Punch enough to have two, which is always a good sign. Between the two of us, we demolished about a loaf and a half of bread like it was our job. Dessert was spumoni ice cream. My wife had a little. I had mine... and then the rest of hers. Teamwork. The atmosphere was great. It was quiet, they had the playoff game on, so I got dinner and sports... win-win. Prices and value were exactly what you expect from OSF... no surprise fees, no menu gymnastics. They got very busy shortly after we arrived. When we sat down, it was us and one other couple in the bar. By the time we left, every table was full. Nothing wild happened, nothing bad happened... just a good, solid visit. Will we be back? Yep. 9.2.25: First time at this location for my friend's birthday dinner and since we live in North Idaho, it was any an hour ish drive. We were starving and hoped the wait was worth it. I used Google's online reservation system, which was really simple and easy. When we walked in the door, we were greeted and told the hostess we were in 15 minutes early. She was able to sit us right away. It wasn't too busy at first but picked up by the time we left. Ambience was quiet and lightning was on the dim side. It made for a relaxing environment and we even got sat at a booth with a window. Our server, Scott, right away said he would be right back. After a few minutes of scanning the menu, Scott returned to take it drink order and thanked us for our patience. Since cotton candy is my fav, I couldn't resist not ordering the Cotton Candy Limeade. It arrived with cotton candy on a stick, which I wasn't expecting and loved it! The limeade itself was really delicious and not too sour. My friend ordered a vanilla Italian Soda and liked it so much he ordered a 2nd one, which was perfect because now we both have souvenir glasses. Scott was awesome enough to give us two fresh clean glasses to take home. So with Spaghetti Factory's 3-course setup, I went with the garden salad with thousand island as my appetizer, traditional spaghetti with manager's choice of two sauces: Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter and traditional Marinara Sauce, as my entree, and traditional spumoni for dessert. My friend ordered the lasagna and a side of 2 meatballs (he was quick and I only got a pic of 1 meatball lol). As for an appetizer, we went with the Sicilian garlic cheese bread. My salad was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The garlic cheese bread was phenomenally awesome. It was soft, hot, and cheesy--the marinara dip was nice and rich and complimented it very well. My spaghetti arrived picturesque-like and they did a great job keeping my 2 sauces separate. The noodles were perfectly tender--al dente to a T. The Mizithra Cheese and Browned Butter sauce is so flavorful. Although not really saucy, it's my first choice if I'm not feeling saucey. The melding of flavors explodes your mouth with tasty goodness. It almost reminds me of a dry white Alfredo. Let's not forget about the marinara sauce with its rich robust tomato flavor blended with just the right amount of spices. I thoroughly enjoyed my spaghetti plate and ate it all. Boo for no leftovers lol. My friend said hands down it was the best lasagna he's had in years. Because everything we ate was so flavorful, he said the meatballs were great but pretty ordinary. The spumoni scoop of ice cream for dessert hit the spot. I love pistachio and it had a good pistachio taste and enjoyed the 3 distinct flavors versus all 3 flavors just blending into weirdness. Scott was a friendly server, checked on us at all the right times, and overall added a nice vibe to our dinner. We left so full I think I waddled outta there haha. My friends and I went here for dinner last night after a long day of competition at the convention center. We made a reservation expecting it to be busy but it ended up being fairly quiet. We were seated immediately and had time to look over the menu and order food and drinks. I got the chicken fettuccine alfredo and the strawberry mocktail (I can't remember the name now). The mocktail was alright but it had a pretty strong flavor that blocked out a lot of the strawberry taste. The alfredo sauce was good but the chicken and mushrooms were incredibly salty. The broccoli was bit undercooked as well. I had to eat the chicken and mushrooms separately from the pasta because they were so salty I couldn't taste anything else. The ice cream we got at the end was the same as always and didn't really have anything notable about it. Our server was nice and attentive. The table was clean as was the rest of the dining room. We parked in our hotel parking garage and walked about 7 minutes to the restaurant because we knew there wouldn't be any free parking around downtown. It was a cold walk and didn't feel entirely safe since it was nighttime and there were some people milling about shouting. Overall this was a fine experience. The place was pretty stinky smelling. Our server was nice and the service time to get our food was pretty decent, but it took a while to get our check afterwards. It was busy though. The bread and the sides were more filling than the entree itself. By the time my pasta got there, I was already full. I got the chicken piccata and the angel hair noodles were so overcooked. The flavor of the sauce was not what I expected and the cheese was off putting. My partner got the garlic mizithra and the cheese was also off putting for that dish. The bacon was pretty good, but the cheese did not complement it. The trolly was really tight. Would not recommend sitting there. Although it didn't happen, it felt like I could get hit by food or dirty dishes at any point. read more

To start with there we traveled through Spokane on the 19th of August going to Montana. My wife wanted to try it. Just trying to navigate to this restaurant was difficult. There was absolutely no parking! I found a spot in an alley that we didn't care for at all. We had ordered on line, so it should have been a quick trip. The food was not ready when I walked in. After about 10 minutes I was headed back to our truck. We ate in our hotel room. My wife ordered the fettuccine Alfredo without mushrooms. Hers was smothered in mushrooms. I had the three meat spaghetti. It was OK. My wife makes better though. The ravioli were a joke. They were just about completely flat, drowning in butter. The best part of our meal was the bread and ice cream. My sister in law is Italian, and cooks like she is. This in no way compares to her cooking. read more

Shining spotlight for me was the cotton candy soda drink. Never quite saw something like it. It was good too! I tried the lobster ravioli with the Cesar salad and scoop of spumoni ice cream. I wish the ravioli was more lobster / seafood flavor, and keep in mind the price point to the smaller entrees and sides. Cesar was probably my favorite thing and the spumoni ice cream was okay. Went for a birthday dinner over the weekend for my wife. For a Saturday night without a reservation, it was a pleasant surprise to be seated right away as a party of two. Server was okay but really didn't deliver an exceptional experience. The menu was kind of confusing. For instance , you can add a little extra sauce or have "a hearty portion" but this only applied to the pasta dishes. Placement of this information on the menu seemed to imply it could be applied to any of the dishes. You can add things on the side and I added shrimp for $8. The shrimp I ordered came out looking like it had been simply steamed. Not a pinch of even salt or pepper on the shrimp. Just bland and rubbery. I actually laughed when it was placed on the table because I've never seen that anywhere else. The chicken for the chicken parm ordered had no seasoning whatsoever. It was very bland and had it not been for the sauce, we might as well have been eating rubber. The Spumoni and vanilla ice cream was actually pretty good and saved this rating from being lower. Just not very appetizing and for all the pomp and circumstance that comes with the restaurant, we were sadly disappointed. read more

Dined here as a 10 month celebration for my girlfriend and I. I absolutely regret it. The spaghetti she ordered came with chicken that was soggy and left a pool of water and oil underneath the pasta itself and it honestly tasted not great. The ice cream they served at the end of the meal that we hardly touched tasted cheap and like it had been sitting in a freezer for days after being scooped. Would not recommend to any one. I literally have been coming to Old Spaghetti Factory for decades just for the mizithra cheese. From young childhood when I would get the kids sized version with the raspberry Italian soda with cream (in a cup you could keep!), to most recently this past summer as a 30+ year old ordering just the cheese to go. Yes! Did you know you could get 5 oz of grated mizithra cheese?? I went for my birthday, decided I hadn't had enough cheese so just swung by to pick up just the cheese and put it in my spaghetti throughout the week. Goodness gracious this cheese is so good. Even though this visit was a drive-by, I love going in person and getting the minestrone soup, all the bread with regular and garlic butter, and the spumoni after dinner. I entered the establishment without a thought in mind other than hunger--but what awaited me was much much more. I found my way to an exquisite booth and ordered the entree number 3 (spaghetti with delectable meat sauce), accompanied by a refreshing and ice cold water and fizzy Dr. Pepper. The room felt homey but I still felt respected. One of the members in our party, is diagnosed with autism and felt respected and welcomed in this fine establishment. (Yvonne and Ella, you'll know who I'm talking about) Overall Yvonne our main waiter managed a huge amount of orders from our team with high skill and fast service (like a boss ) while still telling us stories of the facilities past and interesting superstitions. One of our teammates also got broken up with and was given a complimentary ice cream. Thanks Ella (our other chill ahh waiter)!! They also kept us safe from the ghosts in the tunnels. I have lived in the Spokane area for most of my life and, until tonight, had never been to The Old Spaghetti Factory. The restaurant is clean and the seating eclectic. Our server Cammy was great. She checked on us often, but not intrusively. We started with their Sicilian Garlic Cheese Bread (A generous portion of fresh bread topped with a tasty blend of garlic and three melted cheeses served toasted with a side of our homemade Marinara Sauce). For entrees, I ordered their Breast of Chicken Fettuccine (Fettuccine topped with tender diced chicken breast, fresh broccoli, sautéed mushrooms, Alfredo Sauce, and shredded Romano cheese). It was exactly what I had hoped. Jenna went with a small side of broccoli (Broccoli lightly flavored with Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter. A great compliment to any entrée) and a breast of chicken. What we both realized is that we're not fans of browned butter. The real reason we went here, was to get the glasses they were offering. read more

This used to be one of my favorite places in Spokane. Not anymore. Service was friendly enough but we have to keep reminding the staff of things we we ordered. Also, one of the biggest things about an Italian restaurant is bread. Bread here is great if they remember. It is fun inside, and the decor is one of the reasons we keep coming back in this day of bland box you could be anywhere restaurants. I will also note the food doesn't taste as good as it used to, guessing they are using cheaper ingredients now. One thing that really annoyed me is they have created this fund they sell as helping out the staff, but it is just a way to skirt giving employees health coverage. That is low. All things considered, this location will probably be in my list of places I used to know. Which is sad, because it used to be great. read more

Dinner stop and was not expecting the massive crowd waiting for seating. We were a party of 8 and were told 30 minutes. Fifteen minutes later we were seated. The place is older, but clean and very large. Waiter was very good, he took time with the kids and answered all our questions and special requests. The kids loved the cotton candy sodas, it was an attention getter. I ordered the minestrone soup appetizer and the Meat Lovers spaghetti. The soup was okay, average tasting as in many other places. The entree had great flavor, was a lot of food and I really liked the sausage and meatballs in addition to their standard meat sauce. A real star of the show was the cheesy bread, it was very, verry good. I could only eat half my entree but enjoyed the leftovers the next day for lunch. The evening was topped off by a wonderful spumoni ice cream. The only negative was the noise. This large of a place, with the number of people in there, was so loud it was hard to talk but we knew going in it would be so I'm not complaining, just pointing out if you're looking for a quiet or romantic location, this may not be it. read more

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a classic location. Their menu is great... they have lots of choices for everyone. Even though I don't have kids, I can say that the place is very kid-friendly. They have a kids menu that includes choice of entree, applesauce or salad, drink and ice cream. My favorite is the mizithra pasta or the classic spaghetti. The spaghetti with meatballs is great, too. The atmosphere is nice. It's very cozy. Service is always fantastic as well. My only gripe is I rarely go here as I find the prices to be quite steep. read more
