    Last night was my first time eating at Ferraro's and I'm happy to report it won't be the last. We started with the fried calamari and then ordered eggplant parmigiana and sirloin fettuccine as our entrees. The calamari was good with a light breading so it wasn't heavy at all. You get a choice or homemade soup or salad with entrees. I chose the vegetarian minestrone soup and it was just as good as the stuff I grew up on (made by my Italian family). Eggplant parm is usually my go-to at Italian restaurants and I really enjoyed it here. My husband ordered the fettuccine, which is actually on special for $21 on Wednesdays, and thought it was very good. We had a lovely server who was very sweet and helpful. She was a joy each time she came to check on us. Unfortunately didn't get her name but I'd be happy to come back and see her again.

    I drive past this restaurant all the time and thought we would give it a try. First thing for me was the smell. I like to walk in and smell the welcoming of the foods. It was not so here, it smelled old and stale to me. But I wanted to give it a chance. Old buildings can be that way and I did feel it had a lot of history in the building. We were seated right away. Only a few patrons eating at the time, it was 5:30. Our server took our drink order right away. I had my usual, a Bloody Mary. It came with mostly all ice. So that disappeared quickly. I had the cannenoli with half red and half white sauce and a houssalad. The salad was pre bagged mix and dressing was scarce. Very skimpy. The bread served with the meal was hard and stale. The entree was okay. Nothing special and the sauce was very salty. Portion was fine. I ate about half of it. The server brought us the wrong meal at first. It was suppose to be the other patrons and she picked it back up and took it to them after it was sitting in front of us. I don't think I would have liked that if it was the other way around. She was a bit lacking in energy and acted like she really didn't like her job. Friendly enough but not really happy. Topped our meal off with a cup of spumoni that was so hard and frost covered. Priced a bit high for basic Italian food. Don't think we will be returning. There are too many good eateries yet to explore.

    We had reservations since it was Saturday night. We were greeted and seated right away and our server brought menus and water. My husband and our friend ordered a draft Pieroni Pilsner, I ordered Lambrusco. They were out of the Lambrusco so I just had water. I ordered the lasagna and for $1 added a Caesar salad. My husband ordered the Twins #2 Spaghetti which had 1/2 "meat" sauce and 1/2 "browned butter" with mizythra cheese and the minestrone soup. Our friends ordered Chicken Alfredo with a dinner salad and an Italian Chef's Salad. Lasagna - good size portion and I could taste the ricotta. The sauce was pretty good. The Caesar salad was so small it was ridiculous. Spaghetti Combo - the red sauce half tasted like the "meat sauce" was marinara with a crumbled meatball. The mizythra on the other half was generous, however the butter was just melted, not browned. The minestrone did have pastina but was otherwise pretty bland. Chicken Alfredo - boring and it was almost tasteless. Italian Chef's Salad - good and probably what we all should have ordered. Several slices of a baguette were served with a small amount of olive oil for dipping. Spumoni ice cream comes with all dinners and it was super good. I really wanted to like this restaurant but there's much better Italian food in Spokane.

    Service was great. The bread and dipping oil is so divine! It was a great stop after a long day of volleyball!! Definitely would recommend

For food, I ordered the Brussels sprouts with jalapeno, ham, and parmesan, also had the butternut squash agnolotti with sage butter. The agnolotti was well made and rich, though a touch on the sweet side for my taste. The Brussels sprouts were fine, but the mild jalapenos caught me off guard. My friend had the chicory salad and really enjoyed it. In hindsight, I wished I had gone with something a little lighter too. Overall, it was a good meal with warm service and a comfortable atmosphere. I would go back, but next time I would explore another item on the menu.

I felt as if our server should have told us immediately that this was a shared option, but even then to make every person pay $57 is nuts for the portion of food that you receive. We are content creator, so we happen to record every dish that we received. ( the leisurely) First thing they brought out was roasted nuts and marinated olives. (6/10). Some of the olives were hard, but the roasted nuts were pretty good. 2. My wife is allergic to shrimp so they were gonna bring out the grilled ponds but instead the chef decided to bring out brussels sprouts. (2/10). It was awful. I almost gagged legitimately, and my wife felt the same, the brussels sprouts also had a foul smell to them as if they were spoiled. - it was paired with the winter salad. In my opinion, that was the second best thing that they brought out. It was very rich in flavor,colorful as well. 3. They then brought out some pasta. Tagliatelle Pasta. This is the best thing that they brought out. I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

She stated there were no desserts, but if there was one it would be chocolate lava cake or cheesecake. The dinner came with ice cream so we opted for Vanilla. To our surprise the ice cream did not come in a bowl scooped, but in a small plastic ice cream container with a spoon stuck in it. What a disappointment. $70.00 later and we were out of the restaurant. I wish we would have gone to the Olive Garden at least we would have known what we were getting for our $$. We did order one appetizer for $12.00. It felt like this business would not be in business too much longer I am sorry, but I would rather cook at home then spend $80.00 (including the tip) here.

The atmosphere was great. It was quiet, they had the playoff game on, so I got dinner and sports... win-win. Prices and value were exactly what you expect from OSF... no surprise fees, no menu gymnastics. They got very busy shortly after we arrived. When we sat down, it was us and one other couple in the bar. By the time we left, every table was full. Nothing wild happened, nothing bad happened... just a good, solid visit. Will we be back? Yep. And next time I might pretend I won't eat the entire plate... but we all know how that ends.
