This place is so amazing. I had great service. Party of one that requested a patio view and made a reservation at 7:30pm so that I could eat and enjoy the sunset. Leo was wonderful and very attentive despite it being a busy Friday night. The clams as an appetizer were so fresh and plentiful. The lemon wine sauce was light and perfect. Dipped the bread in the sauce and it was so so good. Ordered steak and scampi for my main and had requested French fries instead of potato's. The meat was cooked well and shrimp flavored beautifully. These fries were So crispy and so so perfect. Overall it was a great experience and I loved sitting and enjoying the view. Complimentary birthday dessert was this fresh strawberry shortcake that came with a biscuit instead of angel food cake - it was crispy and flaky but soft on the inside and was perfect with berries and cream. 10/10 meal. read more

I made an on-line reservation to celebrate my wife's and my anniversary. Despite of previous poor reviews, we still went. We had to wait and argued for outdoor seating, even though I had requested it and there was seating available outside. I had ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail as a started; this was served with a few small to medium shrimp. The service and food doesn't not match the price! Will not go there again. read more

Get a reservation to make sure you get a good view of the river! It was cold outside, so they didn't have outdoor seating, but I definitely love to sit out there when it's warmer out. I had the crab and shrimp toast. I loved the spinach and artichoke that they spread over the top of it. Someone else got the fried shrimp and they said they were amazing. Their french fries were crispy and hot. Perfectly seasoned. My friend said that the gluten-free shrimp pasta was amazing! We had a large group dinner here and it was a marvelous experience! The menu has a vast variety of seafood (and a few steak) items, and is expensive as seafood is. First off is the complementary warm sourdough - wonderful. We ordered lots of apps - the calamari ($22) was crispy and amazing (though the aioli could have been more flavorful), the mussels were great ($18), and the crab dip ($28) was out of this world. I had the House Salad ($13) and it was lovely with the blue cheese dressing. I split the three course salmon dinner ($36, what a great deal) and every course was great. I loved how they split it ul for us too. The salmon was fresh and well cooked. One side of the restaurant has beautiful views of the falls, but we did not sit on that side. We were in Spokane only overnight and got a reservation at Anthony's. We walked on the river walk from the Holiday Inn Express. It was only about a 20 min walk and it was lovely. Anthony's is located above the waterfalls. Windows and an outdoor patio bring the falls to your table as you eat. So pretty. We were seated at a table inside but right on the window so we had a stunning setting for our dinner. I chose the salmon special for my entree. It was delicious. Nicely seared and topped with a fruit salsa. It came with veggie and rice. Nice and light. We started with the prawn cocktail which was served with cocktail sauce over ice. Very fresh prawns. Yumm. While I didn't need dessert, they were advertising their peach desserts. Peaches ripen in Aug in Washington so I felt like we had to try one. We chose the peach cheesecake and it was very good. Great choice. I can't say enough good things about our server Payton. His pace was great. Never felt rushed. He made great suggestions. As visitors to he area, he answered our sometime odd questions about Spokane. He was great. So glad we stopped here. read more

The view at Anthony's at Spokane Falls is worth the price of any meal you will find on the menu. I had their sweet potato crusted walleye and it was really good. The calamari was standard fried calamari, but nothing special. Dessert was the star: it was a toss-up between the huckleberry cheesecake and the Huckleberry Slump and both were outstanding. We've eaten at Anthony's in Kirkland, Coeur d'Alene, and now Spokane. This is not a place that's up to Anthony's standards. My wife has Petrole Sole and I had Steelhead. The rice for both of us was way undercooked and the sole was overcooked and dry. When we raised this, the manager stopped by and said "Well... Seafood is hard to cook." We also heard other customers being told they didn't have oysters and ran out of by the glass Merlot, and something else. Really??? Isn't this what you specialize in? To the managers credit, he removed the file entry from the ticket. We understand an occasional mistake, but the attitude of "hey this is hard" and being out of so many things seems like there is a problem in management. It was very surprising you us because we live going to the Coeur d'Alene location and have had many good experiences there. read more

We were walking and viewing the falls and say this place and wanted a bowl of soup to warm up, so walked over on the day before Christmas. Hostess: not the most friendly and did not greet us but directed us to where we needed to go when we asked about having a bowl of soup. Did not say anything as we left. Valet: very nice young man that greeted us even though we walked over to the restaurant and even thanked us from coming when we were leaving. Had reservations last year after the Bloomsday run and really enjoyed ourselves. This year, not so much. Our server was very nice but kept forgetting things. Everything took forever to arrive. I think it was partially our server but probably mostly because he had too many tables. The restaurant should staff the kitchen and floor in preparation for such a busy day. Anthony's donated a certificate to the East Valley High School auction. It was dinner for two and it was a "golden ticket". Their generosity gave us two appetizers, two entrees and two desserts..we could have had two salads as well but we knew we wouldn't be able to eat it. Only the tax tip and alcohol beverages were additional. The view was beyond spectacular. Everything was delicious and our waiter, Steven was fabulous!. We got delicious drinks, appetizers, main course and dessert. We're so full that we had to bring some of it home. The view is amazing. I'm very satisfied with the quality of my food too. Sourdough bread and butter on the beginning was a great start and then my main dish which was salmon cake was super delicious. Service was not great though. They wanted to sit me on the bar, when I asked one of the inside corner tables, it took long time to prepare the table for me. They did have open table outside as well which was not reserved but they didn't give to me. Then I had to wait long time for the waiter to come get my order, same thing with the food too. During restaurant week, I arranged for a group of colleagues to have dinner at Anthony's. I'm not a huge seafood fan, but one of my colleagues was pretty set on going to Anthony's. While I had heard it was somewhat mediocre seafood, Anthony's really delivered for our group of 10. There are two places that big groups are placed in the restaurant. One overlooks the falls. The other, where we sat, is more of a private room right off reception. It allowed for us to have good conversation, although, without the amazing view. Among all of us, there was only one complaint - that the oyster appetizer was a little on the small size. Otherwise, everyone seemed really happy with what they got. From fish to steaks to prawns, there seemed to be something that delighted everyone. The desserts were quickly consumed too. The timing between courses was good and our server was really responsive. She checked on us regularly to get more drinks. Parking options at Anthony's are plentiful. There is a small lot along with valet, street parking and a larger paid lot across the street. read more

I nabbed a cab and couldn't believe they didn't over price the glass and it was a decent pour.. so I had two! The ceaser salad was pretty legit and was on the thin side so I wasn't in the skip half the meal mode. And the salmon. Wow... you could taste every little bit of excellence from the oil on the fish, the glaze drizzle, the relish and the corn side was WAY better than expected. It worked so well with this dish that every bite was superb! I hope to come back and try something else on the menu. What a wonderful place in downtown Spokane. We had an early dinner and we're seated right along the windows with a beautiful view of the falls and river. I had a great local Scottish Ale and the 3 course for $30 Sunset Menu. To start I had the Salmon Dip which was very tasty. Next I had the Northwest Salmon Duet, a nice Salmon filet and Oregon Coast Bay Shrimp. The rice wasn't my favorite but it was different. On the fresh sheet at Anthony's this week, Crispy True Cod tacos. Honestly, I've kind of been missing out. Anthony's showed me a side of Spokane I've not experienced in a while, and has me wondering if this is what I've been missing in my occasional lunch life. I was greeted promptly and seated on the patio. My view was worth the price of a fresh peach lemonade I sipped while I waited. The cup of chowder I ordered arrived after three peach lemonade sips. And I was savoring each sip. Perfect timing transition. I was three bites from finished with a chowder I wish was my whole lunch when my crispy cod taco's arrived. The tacos were served with fresh made tortilla chips and salsa. Each taco was thoughtfully wrapped in paper. It's like they thought of everything. Shredded cabbage, a creamy garlic lime sauce and a fresh pico were nestled in the warm tortillas with generous pieces of perfectly crisp breaded cod. I didn't intend on eating both tacos but they were so good I couldn't save one for later. I let my server know I was waiting on my husband who was dining inside and she told me to take all the time I wanted relaxing on the patio. I continued to sip my lemonade and watch geese swim and imagine the next time I'll enjoy lunch at Anthony's. 10/10 recommend a solo lunch here. It's like if food and a spa treatment held your hand and allowed you to breathe. My server surprised me with a lemonade refill as I wrote this review. We had a great 33rd anniversary dinner with Stephen as our waiter. Great guy and service! We celebrated with clams and coconut prawns for appetizers and had the tuna and halibut dinners. Everything was excellent and our window seating to view the river falls was fabulous. ( we had requested when made reservation and they helped accommodate us!). We have come here for special occasions and they always have done a great job with their seafood dinners. We also enjoyed the valet parking.
