Do you know about the hidden gem, only five minutes from downtown Spokane? If you're looking for a great place to eat, I recommend trying out the local bistro. They have friendly staff, and I'm sure you'll enjoy your experience there. Their wine list is exceptional, but tonight, we decided to try their cocktails. Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with these incredible drinks and appetizers! Start with a Heat Wave cocktail that packs a punch with vodka, jalapeño, passionfruit liquor, and triple sec. Or, try a refreshing Pomegranate Margarita made with tequila, pomegranate, lime, and triple sec. Indulge in a Butter Board layered with smoked honey butter and rosemary, served with delicious applesauce with pistachio and sourdough bread. And don't miss out on the Carrots that are cooked to perfection with smoked honey butter and blackened dill, served with pork rinds. It's no wonder why these Carrots are so addictive The beet salad with a brown butter vinaigrette, frisee, and crispy onions was a good side choice My hubby ordered the steaks and couldn't stop raving about how it was comparable to Churchills - that's how good it was! As for me, I got the halibut; it was a good-sized portion. The chard vegetables- asparagus, were delicious. And the best part? We ended our meal with a warm, gooey blueberry cobbler that was just divine! Oh, I almost forgot! There are no kid's menus, but our server suggested either pizza or they can serve butter noodles Latah Bistro 4241 S Cheney Spokane Rd Spokane, WA 99224 United States

A friend and I went during Restaurant Week and their specials on the menu were amazing. We shared each of each other's dishes and all of them were fantastic. I would definitely go there again. The staff was very friendly and consistently checking in. We had a reservation at 7pm and it still had a decent amount of folks in there. It was nice and quiet, with dim moody lighting. Just enough to see the menu and have a nice conversation. It was a bit far for us, but I'd definitely go again!

THE very BEST night out experience in Spokane! Imaginative and delicious menu with food friendly to all diets, incredible craft cocktails and an attentive and personable staff! The atmosphere is stylish and inviting in both the main restaurant and the fabulous next door bar! You can find it just outside the city (total bonus to skip down town!) with ample and secure parking!

I absolutely loved everything about the beet salad and pepperoni pizza. The flavors and texture of the salad were perfect. The pepperoni pizza was extra special with the hint of honey on top. Can't wait to come back!

Great little find here in Spokane. We opted to sit infuse although they have some great patio seating. We were warmly treated by our server who managed to keep up great banter all evening and was very knowledgeable about their wine, beer and food selections. Beer are rotating so if you fall in love with something it may or may not be back the next time you visit. It appears they have nightly/weekly specials in addition to their regular menu. They offered a Rib Eye on the night we were there, but were out of it when we got there at 6:30. The menu offers a nice variety of choices and I think most everyone in a party could find something that they could order. My MIL got the Crab Cake from the starters for her meal. It was a large cake that came with asparagus so it worked well as an entree too she seem to really enjoy it. My FIL ordered the Duck Breast from the specials menu. He said it was good, but a little over cooked My wife got the Beef Daube Pappardelle. She very much enjoyed it. I only got one taste (which is how I know how much she liked it) of the sauce and it was good. I got the Alaskan Halibut. It came on a bed of Yukon mashed potatoes with some wild mushrooms and English peas. Overall I was pleased with the meal. Really good flavor on the fish and potatoes. The gist was just a bit over cooked, but not by enough that it took too much away from the meal.

I loved how cold this drink was and it was delicious! - Their dirty martini was equally delicious and ice cold. It was very dirty and blue cheese stuffed olives were a plus. - the love bun was to die for- definitely a treat l, filled with ooey gooey cheese and a solid spice from the jalapeño. - the ravioli was delicious- hearty, filling and flavorful, served with a generous portion of chicken on top. - prawn phad thai was a gamble and not your typical fast order noodle dish. This flavorful dish was beautifully presented with ample prawns. It was extra saucy and a on the sweet side, which I didn't expect for phad thai but was glad I tried . I'm not sure I'd call it phad thai and that's probably the disconnect. It's more of a veggie and prawn noodle dish with a small Asian flair, definitely not a glamorous name , haha! Dessert The crème brûlée is the dessert winner - the citrus flair was light and refreshing. The mud pie was just ok. Lots of ice cream on a cookie crust but not sure I'd call it mud pie.

I felt as if our server should have told us immediately that this was a shared option, but even then to make every person pay $57 is nuts for the portion of food that you receive. We are content creator, so we happen to record every dish that we received. ( the leisurely) First thing they brought out was roasted nuts and marinated olives. (6/10). Some of the olives were hard, but the roasted nuts were pretty good. 2. My wife is allergic to shrimp so they were gonna bring out the grilled ponds but instead the chef decided to bring out brussels sprouts. (2/10). It was awful. I almost gagged legitimately, and my wife felt the same, the brussels sprouts also had a foul smell to them as if they were spoiled. - it was paired with the winter salad. In my opinion, that was the second best thing that they brought out. It was very rich in flavor, colorful as well. 3. They then brought out some pasta. Tagliatelle Pasta. This is the best thing that they brought out. The noodles were fresh and the meat choice ( roast) paired very well and it was mildly flavorful, enough to swing both ways but we'd say it swung in the right direction. I'd give it 8.5/10. 4. They then brought out steelhead trout with couscous and cauliflower with roasted carrots. - I think the audacity to give two full grown adults. A 1/3 portion of fish is quite literally disrespectful. It was so disrespectful until it just made me want to leave even more than I did whenever they brought out the brussels sprouts. The piece of fish itself was not seasoned, but it happened to pair slightly with the couscous and whatever sauce. It was quinoa actually.. (6.5/10) flavor wise. I hate really complaining about food, but this was so underwhelming.. that I may have contested the bill if my baby didn't poop out of his clothes during the visit. I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.
