    Monti cristo with fruit

Sunday after-church breakfast choice did not disappoint. We have been wanting to try the Farmhouse for months but timing never worked out. T believe they have just recently opened for weekend breakfast. Something I have never tried before was a pickle juice Bloody Mary. It was tasty. You Gotta order the basket of biscuits! Best soft fluffy biscuits ever! With homemade jam to go with it. Next time I think I will just have that all for myself. The monti cristo was good as well. Cant go wrong with French toast. Gonna come back again for dinner. Be aware they are closed Tuesdays. Highly recommend. Friendly service. I believe it's family run.

When you walk in you really feel like you're in a down home cafe! I loved the decor and the cleanliness. Very bright and airy as well. The waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and answered every question I had about the food, ingredients etc. The food is delicious and was hot and fresh! I loved it!

This used to be such an awesome place to eat. We ordered our meals, my husband ordered Not your Momma meatloaf. It is always delicious. The waitress brought it out and it looked really good. The mashed potatoes did not have any gravy or sauce that was served with the meatloaf. He asked for some and the waitress acknowledged the request and as she was leaving stating that there is an up charge. She came back with a very small plastic container of the sauce. The mashed potatoes tasted awesome. It would have been nice to have more sauce. Then he took a bite of the meatloaf and it was cold. The waitress came back with a small plate to remove the meatloaf. I asked her to please take the entire plate. She did, and returned later with a burnt/scorched meatloaf. It was not eatable. The waitress took it off of our bill. There were only 3 tables occupied including us. Too bad we lost another option for dining in town

Food was delicious & served piping hot. Service was wonderful & wow all the gluten free options was such a rare treat! I didn't get a photo of it... but the peach cobbler is as excellent too! And they even let us order from lunch or dinner menu even though within 30 min of end of lunch.

A new place right in our back yard. We gave them a month or so to get ops running smoothly, and I'm glad we did. Daughter and I enjoyed a nice lunch, and while Cheney hasn't had a 'fine dining' establishment since Immix Fusion closed, the experience has me believing we now have a date night option for Mom & Dad here in town. From the outside it looks like a converted house, but you will be surprised how much room the dining area has. They did a heckuva job with the remo. Food was great. I'm the last guy you'd think that would even consider a $17 burger, but I went for it. I finished half, and it was great to be asked how I wanted it cooked. Accompanying Jojos were delicious, with a light breading rather than batter dipped. Daughter's BLT ($12) had a generous amount of thick-cut bacon, but it darned well better have with that price tag, haha. Only miss was dessert... Five fresh made donut holes about the size of a 75 caliber musket ball--on top of a light drizzle of chocolate sauce. It tasted fine, but in retrospect I cringe at the thought of paying $7 for the dish. Our young server was great, and took care of us and all those around the dining area. All in all, despite a truly 2021 price point, I want to visit them again. While I am an absolute frugal b*****d when it comes to dining out, if I can stay in my hometown and not drive a 50+ mile round trip for a higher end meal, I'm gonna factor in the time/gas money saved and order a nice steak for my beautiful Wifey next Val-Day. But we'll skip dessert...

I was in Cheney Washington for business and was looking for someplace to grab a bite to eat. There wasn't a lot to choose from in the small college town but I decided to come here and try it out. I stopped in on a Thursday around 1 PM... It wasn't very busy and I was seated quickly. The waitress was friendly. She was able to answer my questions and made some recommendations. The chicken was good... It wasn't my favorite... I prefer a little more seasoning and flavor. And the "JoJos" which were basically potato wedges fried which tasted like the same seasoning the chicken was fried with. All in all I think the restaurant is nice and I would try again if I came in the area. I would just choose something different.

West Plains Brewing is one of these and am glad that I became aware of it. The lady that was at the counter was super nice and very congenial to visit with so that was very nice. I was having a difficult time trying to decide out of their beer options as to what to have so I went with a taster set and that was a good choice to have made. I tried four different beers from that taster set and I liked them all very much! One of the beers was the Cerveza Fria which was the brewery's Mexican Lager. It was pleasant and refreshing with a slight biscuity flavor and a crispness to it that is perfect to refresh yourself with on warm days. Another beer I had was the Allegiance which was an Amber beer. It was biscuity also and went down easy where it would be very easy to get more of this beer in one sitting. The third beer I had was the Muddy Boots. I liked the maltiness in this beer. While the beer is rich to drink it also comes across as light bodied which gives it an overall nice balance. The fourth and final beer I had was an Oatmeal Stout by the name of Broken Paddle. I do like Oatmeal Stouts and this one was no exception. The flavors you can enjoy in this one are chocolate, coffee and roasty in the beer. The beer is smooth but also comes across as light bodied which you occasionally see in some stouts. A very nice visit to this brewery and worthy of returns whenever I am back in the area.

I stopped by **Izzy's Comfort Kitchen** recently after seeing quite a bit of buzz about it online…read more While there is a lot to like about this spot, my experience felt a bit like a "social media vs. reality" situation. **The Atmosphere & Service** The ambiance is inviting and cozy, though the restaurant itself is on the **smaller side**, so it can feel a bit tight during peak hours. That said, the **service was fantastic**. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were properly taken care of throughout the meal. **The Food** I ordered the **Peach Bourbon BBQ Burger**. I loved the concept--the sweetness of the peach really complemented the savory beef beautifully. However, the execution fell a little short. There were only **two slices of peach** on the entire burger, and it was significantly **lacking sauce**. Between the minimal toppings and the lack of BBQ sauce, the burger ended up being quite dry. The sides didn't quite help the moisture issue, either. The **fries were very thin and overcooked**, giving them a crunchy, dry texture that made the overall meal feel a bit parched. Izzy's is a solid spot with great people, but I can't help but feel it might be a bit **overhyped by social media**. The flavors are definitely there, but for the price and the reputation, I was hoping for a bit more generosity with the toppings and better execution on the sides. Worth a try if you're in CDA, but maybe ask for extra sauce on the side!

I tried multiple dishes, all delicious and very comforting. Hightlights including spicy fried chicken, crispy, well-seasoned on the outside, juicy inside, a perfectly balanced sweet-spicy glaze. Kimchi pancake was another favorite: crispy and slightly chewy center, and had a bold, tangy flavor. For main dish, I had spicy stir-fried chicken not as wow as the 2 other dishes but it's well seasoned and pairs really well with rice and side dishes. One of the free banchan was spicy braised tofu, very delicious I had to ask for more, cause it tasted so good with rice. The space is casual but comfortable, and service was quick when we got there. Portions are generous for sharing. What i love most is that it's right in downtown, so super convenient to get here then shopping. But honestly ambience isn't too big of a deal for me. I got the sundubu, a beef stew. It was hearty, spicy, and sweet which was interesting I would say. There was green onion, tofu, eggs, and ground beef which I don't think is traditional but doesn't really matter to me. The black rice which was served on the side was super good with the stew and cut the sweetness down which was very much necessary. It wasn't my favorite in all honestly. The chicken katsu curry was good. The curry was good and smooth. The chicken was crunchy and had the nice flavor. The bulgogi was really good! The meat was tender and sweet. The black rice that was served on the side paired well with it. The spicy chicken was tender and juicy. The sauce was sticky and spicy. The outside was crisp and saucy. The snow crunch chicken was cheesy and sweet. My mom thinks it's mac and cheese powder with a bit of sugar, but I will say it was interesting and not in a bad way. (Looking back a lot of the food and drinks were overly sweet.) The drinks were... okay at best. The corn latte, I've had before were absolutely delicious! But this round was sort of just good. The flavor of the corn was too pronounced and there wasn't enough sweetness so it tasted like corn with milk. Last round there was also some sort of corn cereal and there wasn't any this time. The fresh strawberry milk was the best drink by far! It was refreshing and really natural. The dalgona latte was overly sweet and too artificial for me. The yuzu cider isn't a hard cider. I learned that apparently I do not like yuzu as it is much too bitter and pithy for me. All in all I would give the food two stars because it was so pricy and our serving were very small for how much it costed, but our server was great!

Definitely one of the best-quality restaurants in the city, where every dish was thoughtfully made and packed with flavor. What we ordered: Starters: - Spring Salad: Super fresh and well-balanced. The snap peas were crisp, with strawberries added for sweetness, and the goat cheese + pistachios gave it a creamy, nutty contrast. The lemon & tarragon vinaigrette tied everything together with a light, herby flavor. - Jerk Cauliflower: Crunchy cauliflower with Caribbean spices with a creamy jerk sauce, good as a side Appetizers: - Peel 'n' Eat Shrimp: Really juicy and spicy from the Cajun spice. There's butter to dip in but I found it too greasy and prefer lemon instead. - Blistered Hungarian Peppers: Smoky pepper with some sweetness and savory from the sausage and cheddar. Served with a toasted focaccia that soak up all the sauce. Main dishes: - Chicken Schnitzel: One of the must-orders. Crispy, golden breading, super tender inside. The lemon & caper butter sauce added acidity and richness that elevated the whole dish. Yoy have to order extra because it's never enough for the table. Yes, it's that good. - Marbled Duroc Pork Chop: Another favorite . Juicy and tender, with 'nduja salsa brava bringing a spicy depth, while lemon tahini and marcona almonds added creaminess and crunch. I always missed tasting this dish like my first time - Beet Ravioli: Earthy and slightly sweet flavor, nice texture but I hate goat cheese so I'm not really a fan of this dish - Pesto Bacon Pizza: Delicious crunch, loved the combo of mozzarella and gorgonzola, kind of creamy with a bit of funk. Balsamic do help balance and gave it a sweet tangy flavor, or else it would be too heavy for me (yes, not a pizza fan) Drinks & Dessert - Not Mai Tai mocktail: very aesthetically looking drink, but a bit too sweet to my liking - Apple crisp: cozy and warm, with baked apple & pecan crumble and served with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious ice cream. - Pumpkin cheesecake: My 3rd favorite of the night, I still dream about it!! Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, you shouldn't skip this!!! That said, I do have to take away a couple points for timing. Our foods took 45 mins to come out even though I had reservations and note the menu items via the email, and the wait time between each dish was also... very confusing. It broke the flow of our meal. Tonight was just so strange. First, I had no idea who was an employee. There were two girls that were going around together over and over, they kept stopping at tables so I think they worked there...but they never had anything in their hands. Our server seemed to keep forgetting we were there. Or just forgetting she was employed in general. Seriously just not with it. She was very nice...when she remembered we were there. I will say the pizza crust tasted amazing. So many places that serve pizza think of the crust as just something to put toppings on, but this had great flavor. Sadly, it was rolled too thin and said toppings made it somewhat soggy. Caesar salad was ok. Romaine was really fresh and crisp and the homemade croutons were still a little warm. Very good. However, the dressing was rather bland. And when I asked for pepper for it, our waitress first had it in her head that I expected some kind of peppers on my salad. When she finally understood I meant black pepper, she went away. Eventually she returned. Not with a pepper grinder or a shaker, but a sauce bowl that had about 3 tablespoons of black pepper in it. I wouldn't use that much pepper if I cooked for myself for a week and used it with every dish. Had to ask for knives for some of people's meals. I will say the spicy lamb rigatoni was amazing, pasta just right and the sauce and flavor was peak. I am just not sure what to say, other than this was the strangest and most disorganized dining experience I have ever had. I think if a grown up showed up and brought the kids into line, this place would be amazing. Also, for what we paid, I expected to be wowed, not left wondering what I just experienced.

The menu is absolutely massive though, so if Benedict's or even breakfast aren't your jam, you should be able to find something that suits your fancy. Also worth noting that they offer a very wide variety of gourmet flavors of house-made juices (7 or 8) for mimosas, like honeydew melon mint which I tried as a soda with soda water since I was driving.
