I did trivia here with my team on a Wednesday and it was so fun! The food is super indulgent and heavy (American bar good) but so good. I had the cheesy bread and fancy nancy - the dough is just OMG! So good. Perfectly chewy. I didn't get the burgers this time but they are GIGANTIC. I also got the cider on tap (passionfruit guava) and it was excellent! I checked this place out for dinner with a colleague after work and was immediately greeted and seated. I ordered the cheesy garlic knots and the meatloaf sandwich. The food came out quickly, and the server was very attentive. The food was solid, and I had no complaints. Wednesdays are apparently trivia night, so my colleague and I opted to join in on the fun. Spoiler: we were horrible and earned last place. The vibes were excellent though as the trivia host, bartender, and other patrons were all friendly and fun. If I lived in Spokane, I'd probably make this my regular bar and come weekly. Definitely recommend checking it out! read more

It is located in a sketchy aisle on Lincoln and if you are not local might feel odd walking down dark aisles, but it is so worth it! This restaurant shares the same building as Whistle Punk brewing. I love the vibe of this place and decided to sit on this side versus brewery. Service: super attentive and nice, making suggestions for food items. Beer and food comes out quickly. Food: ordered the heritage burger with added bacon and jalapeño. This is a smashed double burger patty and it was so juicy and full of flavor and the crunch of the bacon and the freshly grilled jalapeño with a hint of spice really made this burger so delicious. Whenever I visit Spokane for work, I try to get in to Heritage for trivia night. The crew is fantastic - Connor at the bar is an absolute gem, and the rest of the guys are absolutely top-notch: cool, friendly, funny, and the perfect level of attentive. Nice little kitchen and bar for good smash burgers. We got the supreme mac burger the heritage smashburger and got to try a bunch of their sauces. My favorite sauce was the pesto ranch and they offered affordable drinks. If you catch happy hour, you can save a little bit of money on their appetizers and alcoholic beverages. Found this place using Yelp ... what an AWESOME discovery. Heritage Bar & Kitchen does it ALL RIGHT - perfectly right. My husband had the Fluffy Puffy Sunshine IPA (he loves IPAs) and he said it was delightful. All local beer served - A+++ for that. We ate: Fancy Nancy (meat pie) A+++++ yummy. Ramen Almond as a Wrap A+++++ yummy also Hoosier as a Wrap - again A++++++ yummy too Sausage coin appetizer And the staff & service was over the top excellent. Their menu is straightforward -- it seems well thought out and that they only offer what they can provide at its best. Amazing! I had the Impossible Veggie Burger with rosemary curly fries and my Daughter had the Heritage Smash Burger with the sweet potato fries. We tried 4 sauces and liked them all but especially the pesto ranch. We tried both the fried pb&j and fried Nutella fluff sandwich so we can narrow down which one we will share in the future and we decided it will be the nutella fluff but honestly they were both awesome. Came to Heritage for lunch while in Spokane. It was just around the block from our hotel, which was nice and convenient. No driving required. It's a cute little place, perfect for grabbing a drink if you're not looking for a meal. They've got a big TV inside so it might be a good place to stop and watch a game (you know, when life gets back to normal). They've got a great menu. I wanted to try everything! They've got a meatloaf sandwich, a fried peanut butter and jelly...Like, what?! Taking bar eats to the next level. However, I was boring and went with the Smashburger with rosemary curly fries and got an order of the famous Dough Boys. The Smashburger was good, but damn... Lots of lettuce. The rosemary curly fries took me a minute to get used to because I've never had ROSEMARY on curly fries, but they were awesome! Dipped in their pesto ranch? HEAVEN. The Dough Boys were good, but I was hoping for more cheese. Excuse my language, but I am a SLUT for extra cheese (not really but I'm trying to convey just how much I love extra cheese). Very good! My son and I split the smash burger. They served it in separate containers. They also accommodated our French fry differences. I had the rosemary and my son the sweet potato fries! They recommended thr pesto ranch sauce for the French fries and oh my goodness it was AMAZING!!!! The sauce was top notch. Also the service was great! The pho place we wanted to try was closed so we decided to eat here on a whim based on my other bookmarks. It was pretty empty so we sat on the bar side to relax. The bartender/server was quick to take our orders and soon enough, I had my gin and tonic and smash burger in hand. Nice. The smash burger is pretty extra. It has two patties. Do I complain? Nah. The burger itself isn't as amazing as people claim but the patties are super. You can taste the freshness of the meat in every bite. That meat taste. The sauce was pretty standard, probably Sir kensington or a similar dupe but either way, I was overall very pleased with the burger. It reminded me a lot of Gott's. The fancy nancy is also yummy. I can't imagine eating only that as a meal but if you share with three or more people, it should be just perfect. The tomato is subtle and it's super cheesy. Comfort food to the max. We ended up hitting the place up during happy hour so my drink was dirt cheap. It could have been a bit more stiff but in hindsight, knowing the cost, it's understandable. read more
