This is probably the fourth time I've been to Cascadia. I live out of state, but I make a point to pop in when I'm in Spokane. Their pretzels are so addicting. They're huge, fluffy, salty and crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. Only thing I don't like is I prefer the mustard and not the cheese, but they were gonna charge me extra for mustard. That seemed a little ridiculous to me. But moving on, the salad was so good. I shared it with my daughter and it was everything we wanted to be. This place has great food and quick service. If you haven't been there go check them out.

The service was excellent! Our server was super sweet and made our experience so great. We went for restaurant week and tried a few things off the menu. My goodness was all the food absolutely delicious. I can't recommend this place more. The pretzels there are so unique and delicious. Best pretzels ever. Had there shrimp tacos that was a flavor melody I wasn't expecting and it left me wanting more. Finally the strawberry oat bar was simply the best tasting thing I've had in a while and it melted in your mouth. Soooooo amazing! The ambience was a bit loud as it is a small space but I wouldn't want it to be any bigger other wise you would be able to see the amazing chef's in the kitchen whipping up your food. Over all this place is definitely worth checking out and I will be back soon!

Service was great. Very personable and they greeted all the regulars by name. They had my favorite beer on tap so that is always a plus and they made sure that my glass was never empty. The look is sleek and contemporary but still comfortable. Ordered the bleu cheese burger. Flavor was really good. Just not exceptional. Patty was a bit dry and the fries were a bit cool. Not stale, just not hot. I heard them say the kitchen was backed up so maybe they were having a bit of an off night. I will go back and give them another try.

Every time we come here, we leave happy and full! My husband and I took my parents here recently and we sat outside on their patio. The drinks, food and service were all fantastic. Hands down the best pretzels in town (we always get an order to go for later). Looking forward to the opening of Kindred soon!

Eh, we were seated right next to the kitchen so it was very loud. The service was just fine. We came because there were tons of people saying how delicious their soft pretzel was. Neither my friend or I thought it was very good. VERY bland. And the texture was a lil funky. The beer cheese was okay, but there are so many better options in Spokane. I have enjoyed coming here in the past but next time I will be getting something else!

This place was really good and I am even more impressed I found it on a whim. Not only was the food drool worthy, but the service was immaculate, and the outdoor seating ambiance was such a vibe. My boyfriend and I just adopted our sweet puppy and drove six house to get him so we needed an outdoor, dog friendly spot. It was perfect because there was even a pet store right next door we stopped in afterward. Every server was so sweet and attentive and made sure our waters were full, even our pups. We hope to go back if we are ever in that area because it was THAT good!

I really don't know why people come to this bar, I've been here twice and both times the service has been off the server doesn't know what's on their menu or on their taps. The food I have tried here is not good and very bland. He place is always packed for whatever reason.

Although this place is in an odd spot with a not great parking situation, it is worth the stop. Service is always stellar and the food is so very good. Outstanding actually. It is a pretty open restaurant so it can get a bit loud when it's busy. They will set up tables for groups as well and will really accommodate whoever comes in the door. Servers are always friendly to kids and surprisingly there always seem to be a lot of families there. This is a restaurant that is well worth putting your 'need to go to' list.

They are like overly fancy, to the max pickle. I'm not saying it's a pickle, because they are not "pickled", but, but, how do I say it....fresh, crunchy, tasty, with a good "kick". The flavor is abundant. The pepper lingers on your tongue after you finish. Glory! Try it with a beer. I'm telling you. You will be satisfied with this starter. This is all I ate. I'm losing weight. Have to look good for my new lady. BTW- great ambiance. Large hole-in-wall. Dimly lit. People talking. Not loud. Good energy. Lots of different kind of whiskey. And other spirits. 4 good beers on tap. Several imported or mico-brew beers. Full bar. Wine, etc. Staff is pleasant and efficient. I had my dish 3 minutes after ordering. Like busy bees. Kitchen is wide open for viewing. I like that touch. TV at the bar. Two high chair sections, one at the bar. Lots of seating. Good temperature in the restaurant. I like this place. A deeper dive showed a good possibility of gluten free options, so I made the reservation. I was in town on a Monday, just after Hoopfest, but they were the kind of busy where a reservation should always be made I think. My table was ready and I sat in the bar at a high top table. I think I would choose "in the dining room" next time. My server was friendly and quick, as well as knowledgeable about gluten free options. There is even a separate menu that lays out the dishes that are already gf or could be made to be. Love this, always. I ordered the summer salad to start. It was amazing. Flavorful. Fresh. The mint wasn't overpowering, the watermelon was the perfect ripeness. It was so good. I would try to recreate it but it was done so well, and I know I couldn't hit that dressing in the same way. Get it while you can. For my main, I had ordered the scallops in my brain before I even arrived. The risotto was a little soupy, but the flavor was SO good. The corn came through and it went so well with the scallops. The tomatoes were quite over salted, but as long as I didn't eat them alone, it was alright. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I felt like the portion was appropriately sized for the dish, even though there were only 4. My server really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy but the booths looked like they could be cozy. The prices were on the higher end. But for a special occasion, it was worth it. I really wished I'd had room for dessert. I will surely go back the next time I am in town.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!
