Radio Bar is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot every city hopes to have. It's small, low-key, welcoming, and the kind of place where the staff get to know their regulars while still making newcomers feel right at home. The cocktails are creative without being pretentious, the food is consistently excellent, and the daily specials never disappoint. In the summer, the backyard patio is one of my favorite places to spend an evening... it's dog friendly, relaxed, and just a great place to hang out with friends. I love bringing people from the South Hill here because so many of them have never been, and every single time they leave wondering why they hadn't discovered it sooner. Between the thoughtful design, the friendly atmosphere, and the great food and drinks, Radio Bar has become one of my favorite neighborhood spots in Spokane. Next time you see the radio tower lit up and the sign says "On Air," do yourself a favor and stop in. read more

This a fantastic neighborhood bar with a sophisticated cocktail repertoire. Their cocktails are great and service is fast and friendly. It is not the biggest cocktail bar you'll ever visit, but they have a great selection of liquor. There are a couple bottles on the shelf that few other bars would have. We were only stopping in to kill some time before another engagement so we only had drinks, no food this time. We liked the vibe of the place and given the outstanding cocktails we do plan to go back sometime when we are in Spokane. We definitely recommend Radio Bar. read more

My husband and I go to Radio Bar a few times a month. If we need an after work cocktail, we go to Radio Bar. If we need a post gardening snack, we go to Radio Bar. If we have friends in town, we go to Radio Bar. There is no occasion that Radio Bar wouldn't suit. Their cocktails, beer selection, snacks and mains always hit the mark. Their outdoor patio is phenomenal as well. I recommend trying their seasonal margarita and the salmon dip if they have it. The bartenders always have great recommendations too! read more

With the weather being so nice, I was recently looking for an inviting patio to grab a drink with a friend and came upon Radio Bar. There is a small parking lot out front and some additional parking behind the backyard patio. The patio at Radio Bar is gorgeous. It feels like you're in your bestie's backyard except with exceptional cocktails and an array of food options. During my visit, I tried Fair Play, a vodka-based cocktail with season shrub, and the Garden Margarita. Both were excellent, well balanced, and affordable. Most of the cocktails are between $11 to $13. There are some appetizers that are perfect for sharing along with more substantial meals. One of my favorite things about Radio Bar is that they are dog friendly. So, bring your well-behaved pups to enjoy the summer sunshine on the patio with you too. During my visit there were three cute dogs enjoying the afternoon with their humans. There is a gate on the side of the building and one at the back of the lot where you can bring you pup into the yard without having to go through the bar. Okay, I went back to Radio bar and finally got to try out the patio. Wow! The back yard/patio is the bomb. Shady, with twinkle lights, fire pits, under tree seating and corn hole. The drinks, were again fun twists on old standbys...a spicy pineapple margarita and the Mary Lou, which is a creative turn on a Sophia Loren. Their soft pretzel game is strong and it's a nice snack to share while soaking in the vibe on the patio. read more

Delicious cocktails! We tried the jalapeño pineapple cocktail and the Fair Play with seasonal Guava shrub and they were both delicious. We ordered a second round for sure. Visited once on Friday night and returned on Sunday. Our party tried various cocktails, all very good. Great beer selection and smaller wine selection, but all varied. Menu changes from M-Sat to a limited menu on Sunday. Each food item we had was on point - great flavor and tasty! Indoor atmosphere was very modern/chic and had a great vibe. I have been the the neighborhood for 2 years and a few weeks ago we went in for the first time. We had two amazing margaritas and and some chili. Totally over the top! We sat at the bar. The bar tender made perfect hand-crafted tangerine margaritas. The chili was amazing. The service great. The hands-on approach of the owners was refreshing.
