Just moving to Nine Mile it was time to check out the new pub! First of all it's totally cute! Old gas station turned brew house with the old truck parked outside! Perfect photo op! The menu was a bit small and at first I questioned it? We were really wanting burgers. They offer their Signature Smash Burger! The only burger they offer. The picture on the menu makes it look Epic so I wondered if there would be truth in it. Not only did they live up to the picture but they also blew me away in taste!!! There is absolutely no need to offer different burgers because this one is PERFECT! The meat flavor was so amazing! Perfect execution on all points! Taste, juicy, perfect sauces, pickles and onions! OMG! Epic!!! Perfect fresh shoestring potatoes fries. Need a little more salt but no problem add your own! Also the beer was icy cold!!!! The experience was way above and beyond expectations! I would say this was the VERY BEST burger I have had. Way too go! We will be back! read more

Love this cute, quaint place. Check out their story on Facebook, some great history about the 291 brewhouse The food is really good Great Venue for a date night read more

They have beef brisket on their menu and unusual food. Toddy's Coffee is owned by them too. Good quality.

My friend and I took a drive out to Suncrest to try out 291 Brewhouse. She wanted to try their strawberry salad and I thought it was a place to try new beers brewed onsite. One came to fruition. We went on a Tuesday and unbeknownst to us, they do a bingo game. We might actually venture back to give it a try. Because of the crowd inside, we gladly found our way to their patio. It was nice, enclosed with several tables and even fire tables that would be beneficial on a colder night. It wasn't cold when we were there, so they just added some ambience. I had decided to try a beer, but ended up with a Space Dust (IPA). That was my disappointment for the evening. Not a lot of IPA choices. Didn't ask about the other (non-IPA) draft beers. They do not brew any beer. We both got salads and both were great. My friend went with their Strawberry Spinach Chicken Salad. The raspberry vinaigrette was REALLY sweet. After a few tries to get the servers attention she got a side of ranch. The ranch cut the sweetness of the raspberry vinaigrette and she said it was an amazing combination. I went with their Ahi Poke salad and it was great! The dressing was a little too sweet for me. It had great flavor though. But, I didn't even need dressing. My salad was very tasty. I haven't been out that way in 40(ish) years, but it was as beautiful as I remember. Back in the day, my Grandparents had lake property in Tum Tum, and just driving to Suncrest brought back some great memories. read more

This is the 2nd review I have written in 37 years of marriage. My wife and I go out for dinner about 2-3 times per week. 5/27/26 was our 4th or 5th (and LAST) time we have been to 291 brewhouse. We had a party of 11. The place was not very busy for a Wednesday. The service was absolutely horrific. Everyone was served drinks in a reasonable amount of time. After about 25 minutes the blonde waitress finally came back to check on us. She asked if anyone wanted more drinks but did not take orders. She brought 2nd drink orders about 10 minutes later and took orders. After another 20 minutes a few orders were delivered. A few more orders came out 10 minutes later. Mine and my 4 year-old grand-daughter's order had still not arrived by the time most had finished their meals. Blonde finally brought out my orders of wings after I complained and offered to take them off my bill. I told her I no longer wanted them as everyone else was finished. About 5 minutes later my grand-daughter's food was delivered. We had to ask for it to be put in a to-go box. Then came the bill, which was divided 3 ways and included a gratuity of 20%. I asked about the 20% gratuity as I had no intention of leaving any tip for the bad service. I was told because of the "large group" the 20% was added. Mind you, I refused my food because it was brought out after everyone had finished eating. There was no offer to remove the gratuity. There was no apology, only excuses that the service was so slow because of how busy they were. Again it t was a Wednesday, they were not busy. This is the worst experience I have ever endured in my many years of dining out. I will never come back and caution others who consider dining here. Brian read more

We came in for a burger, and left an hour later with the explanation that there was a large takeout order being prepared. We should have been given that explanation when we first came in. Very poor customer service. A good restaurant should be able to handle a takeout and walk in order too. This treatment made us feel like an imposition, rather than a customer. We're not going back. Far less that expected. The menus looked great. All downhill from that point on with the exception water was served and was the best part of the meal. The servers couldn't explain why something on a menu no longer was provided. The dinner menu succeeded the lunch menu at 3PM. When asked for it I was told they don't have one, huh? She indicated they had a $16 burger for $10 or 3 tacos with a $2 upcharge for fries. The fries totally sucked were mushy and under fried. Never asked if we wanted a beverage although it was 80+ degrees outdoors where we were. Had to ask about an overhead menu inside for a happy hour $5 beer special. Was told they no longer do that. Nothing happy about the experience whatsoever. The $10 burger was about $3 in value or zero after one. I had to flag down the servers each time in order to ask questions. Now if they only could have provided answers that may have given this another 1/2 star. Not likely! read more

very good food! fries were warm food was great. fry sauce amazing! service was great, burger was cooked well! Bacon on top of burger added plus. Server listened to my needs/ wants! great job 291! Drinks were fantastic! defin coming back. read more

Used to be very good service and food, until management change. The food has decreased in quality. Due to loss of good employees the services is not as good as it used to be. read more

Ambiance is good, but food has drastically dropped in quality, and service has drastically dropped as well.....it was a totally different place one 1 and a half years ago based on food and service read more

Not sure what's changed but the last two times we've been here they waited until they brought out one of our meals to tell us that they couldn't make the other meal. We ended up having to order something else and waiting for that to come out, then they ended up bringing out the original order as a to go (which we did appreciate). Service has definitely taken a big hit from what it used to be. One of the owners used to be here all the time and he was great. Please come back! read more

There beer cheese fries are absolutely fantastic. Didn't care for all the hard furniture if you're going there to enjoy sitting for a period of time with friends, expect a sore tush read more

Went with the family to visit the 291 Brewhouse, as the daughter just got a new job out there. Pretty simple, scenic drive from Spokane. I've heard there is plenty of deer in the evening, so be careful. The decor of the place is pretty awesome, very casual, family-friendly. If your looking for a quiet place this isn't for you. For me, it's great. There was a great deck outside for outside dining, but at the time it was pretty chilly. Our service was immediate. We started with the Gorgonzola Fries which were delicious. My main meal was the 291 Honey Garlic Burger.. Very, very tasty. Just the right amount of garlic and honey and not overwhelming. My wife ordered the Brewhouse Brisket Panini. She said it was tasty as well. For a nice relaxing atmosphere and great food, I would recommend this little outpost at Nine Mile Falls. read more

I want to love it here, but why drive so far to be disappointed? There were 4 of us, dinner time and not too busy. My waffle was burnt and fries were cold. The chicken inside was good tho. Half our food came out, then we waited 20 min for the other 2 meals. Our nachos were great, but the brisket taco was not so great. The food I can be ok with, but our waitress was avoiding us. When she came by and I told her about my waffle and cold fries, she said she noticed but sent it anyway.....but why??? She said she would comp my meal which was awesome, then got busy. After watching her check a customer out then stand and talk, and talk, and talk...we got tired of waiting so got up to leave without my husbands box. She caught us at the table and said she had to have someone run for boxes because she didn't have any available and was gonna see what happened. I was cordial till she lied, im not a huge fan of liars. We were watching the whole time. So, thank you for comping my meal but really!!?? Dont blame others for forgetting your customers. Not sure I would recommend driving out to try them. read more

Moved here a year ago and been here several times. Always good food and service. Fun to sit outdoors in the summer. Wish they had a better whiskey selection but it's a Brewhouse! The burgers, chicken tenders, flatbread and salads are all good. Treats for dogs outside as well. Local family owned as well. read more

First the good stuff: The food is pretty good. Yummy sweet potato fries, good brisket, good pesto on the chicken pesto panini. The less good stuff: Service is erratic. Sometimes it's great, sometimes meh. Ambience is poo, always awful Auto-Tune junk country music too loud. When people go out they want to talk, not shriek over crappy manufactured music. The less good stuff is not a deal-breaker. I'm all growed up and I know how to ask to turn the horrid music down, and I'm not shy about hunting down a missing server. I would have given them four stars if not for the flies. Dear deity, have they never heard of screens and fly traps?? Every time I've been there the flies have been awful. read more

The food is always good here but the service has always been horrible. My drink was completely gone before someone came to take our food order. Then we waited longer for our food to show up. It was like that the last time we were there too. It's too bad because the food is good. The outdoor patio is nice too. read more

We made a short trek from Spokane out to Suncrest for the seasonal beverage flight (and a surprise bonus of Gorgonzola fries). I would describe the fries as dank, in the best way! They were incredible. The drinks, which were why we stopped in to begin with, exceeded our wildest dreams. The flight included a maple waffle latte, a banana bread chai, French hot cocoa, and a Dubai chocolate matcha. We especially enjoyed the chai and the matcha. Incredible! We'll be back for sure for the next seasonal flight. #steadygains read more

Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. Just off 291 which is very convenient.

Great customer service. Amazing food. The quality of the ingredients was unexpectedly good for a small local business. We loved the music and the views with the roll up doors. We will be back to eat tomorrow, there were too many tasty things i want to try on the menu. read more

Possibly the worst service. It's a great day and the vibes were on point. I saw tables that were seated after us get their beverage/food before us. I was willing to be patient and order our own drinks from the bar. Still no service. Finally was greeted by the server after 15 minutes, all the while still getting our own drinks from the bar. We waiting 45 mins for our food. STILL DID NOT GET IT!!! Had to remind our server to bring our son's drink. Finally, paid for our drinks at the bar and left after another 15 minutes, no apology, no recognition of wrong doing....nothing. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

Wonderful food and great service! I had the Ahi Poke Salad and it was amazing. Greens were very fresh as was the tuna. The dressing was delicious. Hubby had the lettuce wraps and jalapeño poppers and loved them. Daughter had the strawberry spinach salad with chicken that she loves. Grandkids finished their meals with generous scoops of ice cream. read more

Unfortunately I don't post food pics as a person who is blind so please take my word when I say this place is amazing. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and nice beer selection. My wife and I split a pretzel as an appetizer and it was the best pretzel I have had in the Spokane area. Beer cheese and mustard were great accompaniments. My wife loved the 291 cheeseburger and i really enjoyed the jalapeno burger. Toppings were fresh and burgers had fantastic flavor. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to 291 Brewhouse! read more

Okay - I bummed with myself for not remembering to take any photos... no wait I took one of the bathroom because it was so cute, AND clean. The reason why I didn't take any photos was because I didn't remember, I didn't remember because I was so distracted with so many cute and fun things to look at! And by the time I was done "oooh-ing" and "awe-ing" our food was at the table. (Insert husbands shout over to me to hurry it up in the 'for sale' merchandise corner of the brewhouse). Haha Anyways the food was so amazing and so quickly to hit our table next thing I know our belly's were full and our plates barely had a crumb left on it. And no, I did NOT lick my plate although I totally would have if there was a lot left behind ‍ haha Prices are also perfect especially when you have kiddos in tow! I will, and have already, started recommending this place to everyone I know! We brought our two kids with us as well, ages 4 and 1, and their menu and atmosphere was over accommodating for us. So please we ended our night the other day on a good notes with full bellies and great service. Thanks 291 Brewhouse! We will be back again, and again! read more

Great food and service. Fun atmosphere for people of all ages. Highly recommend. Friendly place to hang out.

Literally the worst service a restaurant could possibly offer. No one brought us waters - we had to ask twice before they remembered, and that took about 25 minutes. We waited 40 minutes for our food, another 30 for the check and had to ask multiple times to get that, too. The staff is more interested in socializing with the friends and family who come through, than servicing guests they don't know. And, truthfully, the food is nothing to write home about. I'm fully convinced the sole reason they are still in business is because they are the only restaurant within 15 miles. Note: This is my second visit. The first time I wrote it off as an "off day," but it's not. The place just sucks. read more

Food is prepared like fast food and service is terrible. The seating is completely dysfunctional. Chairs and stools are totally uncomfortable. The inside needs to be completely remodeled! There is no place for a private conversation, and you have to share tables. There were flies all around our food, and they were handing out fly zapper's completely unacceptable. read more

Both the chef & pregnant waitress never wore a mask. When I asked her why, she stated "I legally don't have to tell you." Huuulllooooo? When I tried to gently sharethat I'm a healthcare worker who takes care of Covid patients she interrupted me saying "yeah I'm an EMT and a firefighter so I know all that stuff." we had already ordered & paid this it was too late to leave but we are very very concerned at the disregard for public health here. We chose this restaurant because we could eat outside, but they shared that the one outdoor heater didn't work The food was good, but it's not worth the risk & flippant attitude - please keep your customers SAFE read more

Food was fantastic and our server was very kind! We had a whole bunch off the menu as it was a pretty big group but the tables favorites included the 1/2 Portion of Nachos (Can feed at least two people easily), the pretzel, garlic honey burger, turkey avocado panini, and the chicken tacos! My sister got the maple bourbon ice cream and reported it was a delicious pick. It was a great venue with nice decor and comfort! read more

Great little spot to meetup with friends, date night or family dinner. It can get pretty loud inside but when the weather is nice they have a great outdoor patio. Sitting outside is the best! I look forward to getting a bite to eat and listening to several musicians that perform at the brewhouse. For food I love their tacos, nachos (they are huge!) buffalo chicken salad and the burgers are my favorites. Service can be hit or miss. The servers are super nice but even when they are slow it can take a while to get your food. If I could recommend something to them it would be some kind of air cleaner and vent. If I eat inside I always end up going home smelling like everything they cooked that night. read more

We had a brisket sandwich, gorgonzola fries, and the hummus plate. I was extremely disappointed with the sandwich. It contained only a few small pieces of meat with some shredded cabbage and carrots on doughy panini bread. The bread was so bad I removed the meat and ate it alone, leaving the bread on my plate. The fries were equally disappointing. The fries themselves were limp and soggy. The gorgonzola sauce had good flavor but it lacked many actual cheese chunks. Regarding the service: the waiter was friendly and responsive but I was there on Friday, June 26, 2020, the day the governor's order to wear face masks went into effect. Neither our waiter nor any of the other staff were wearing masks. I found this concerning since it seemed to demonstrate a lack of concern for their patrons, of whom there were many. Because of the food and the service I probably won't go there again. read more
