The meal came in hot and just what we wanted. A stacked sandwich with smoky bacon and fresh greens, plus a side dish of Mac n cheese with those crispy, golden edges you guard with your life. The candied bacon stole the show, glossy and outrageous in the best way. All of it landed even better with a bright Blood Orange IPA and a solid beer flight to finish things off. Great food, good beer, great service. We loved our waitress and we made small talk right off the bat. Btw the nachos are HUGE! Several tables had them. I wish Daft Badger was in my backyard honestly! They had indoor and outdoor seating and a place that is great year round! read more

We loved this place! Food, service, and atmosphere all on point. We started with the nachos. No joke these are a HUGE portion. Great start! He picked the BLT with chips and I had the smoked turkey sandwich with their seasonal raspberry salad. I could not stop eating this salad! The sweet and tangy was perfect. I'd order just this salad and be happy. I highly recommend the smoked turkey sandwich as well. Flavors were perfect. I'm not typically the biggest BLT fan but that sandwich was also delicious. All their serving sizes were very large. We loved their Blood Orange beer. Service was friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to come back. read more

This place has been almost packed every time I've gone in, which is just a sign of how excellent the experience and product is. I highly recommend their classic stout, Josiah's Revenge, as well as whatever else is on tap (especially seasonals.) The location is unique - it feels almost like walking into a house in a neighborhood rather than a proper business, until you get inside and see the floor - it feels comfortable and homey. read more

Stopped here for lunch upon arrival. Selected because they allow dogs - even so, you never know what to expect. Everyone was very welcoming. They have a large covered patio (good for cold weather) where you can bring your dog. We were delighted at the menu as well. Delicious salsa starter. Then we both had yummy sandwiches. They were cool with me choosing from the kids' menu, so I shared a fantastic pb&j with our pup (bonus!). Would stop here again. read more

Came here to grab a drink and found this place since they allow dogs outside. I thought it was cool that it seemed like a house turned into a brewery. Their food menu did look good, but we weren't hungry at the time. I would come here again. read more

I was really disappointed with our experience. I ordered the rotating salad, and the lettuce had a big chunk bottom of a root and was rotten . It honestly looked as though it hadn't been properly rinsed or inspected before being served. I brought it to the waiter attention. Her attitude was careless. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, and it was just as disappointing. The dressing had the consistency and taste of straight mayonnaise rather than a Caesar dressing, and the chicken was so overcooked and unappetizing that it was difficult to recognize as chicken. He couldn't eat it and ended up leaving the entire salad. We also ordered the brisket tacos. The slaw tasted as if it sat around for days ,the tortilla seemed to be thrown on the plate without being heated very doughy texture. The chicken was un recognizable. We did send that back. We were expecting fresh, quality food, especially something as simple as a salad. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant salads we've had. We hope the restaurant pays closer attention to the freshness of its ingredients and overall food quality. Bag lettuce I'm sure if and should have been clean and inspected. read more

We love Daft Badger. Interesting takes on nearly every meal ordered that excite the taste buds. Some of the best beer in Northern Idaho - IMHO. Patio is cool place to hang out and imbibe in great selection of brews with family, friends and Murphy (the ). Service is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in selecting from the beers offered. read more

We've been coming here for over 6 years. Everything has always been consistent. The staff acknowledge and greet you as soon as you enter. There is plenty of seating - in the summer the patio is opened up and in the winter it's sealed off and they use heaters to keep it a nice temperature. They have weekly specials, which is one of the reasons we like to visit. Some of their regulars offerings like the Brie, Apple, & Bacon Sandwich or their Blue Cheese Salad are always enjoyable and full of flavor. They always have a Great Selection of beers they make, but our favorite will always be the Blood Orange. read more

We stopped by Daft Badger Brewing and overall enjoyed the experience! The atmosphere was fun and laid back, and was a great local spot to have a drink. We both ordered drinks, The Blood Orange IPA and the Huckleberry Sour. Both drinks were very good. The Blood Orange IPA stood out as it was super flavorful, refreshing, and makes sense why it is the most popular beer on the menu. We tried the full-sized Pulled Pork Nachos for dinner. The portion size was great for the price. Unfortunately, the flavor just didn't quite hit the mark for us. The nachos were a bit bland and could use a little more seasoning or sauce to tie it all together. Still, between the great drinks, friendly staff, and large portions, Daft Badger is worth a visit! read more

We were in town on our way to Alaska. We stopped to get haircuts and the hairdresser recommended this place. I'm glad she did because we would never have found it otherwise, it's basically on a residential street. Parking is the only problem - you may have to park a block away in front of someone's house. But it's worth it. The menu was creative, the service friendly and the place had a real neighborhood vibe. It's probably sacrilege to say it in a review of a brew pub, but neither the wife or I like beer - any beer. But we keep trying beer to hope we will develop a taste for it. We tried their blueberry beer and we didn't hate it :-). read more

What a great location in a quiet area. It was clean, welcoming with warmers on the patio to keep us feeling cozy the entire lunch. The flavors complemented each other, came out hot, fresh very fast!! We will be back next time we are in, ID. read more

Food is always great. Love this place. Frequent it quite a bit. One failure. I had a $213.00 bill. I tipped over 15% at $35. We had nachos and drinks. Without discussion, they added another $5 to the tip. Would have never known if it hadn't been on my business card. Finding out couple months later. If it ever happens again I will lose my mind and I will certainly bring the house down. I consider this stealing and in my neighborhood that doesn't fly. I work hard for my money. Katelyn responded the moment she got my initial bad review and assured me its not a normal practice and was willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. She did everything right as a business owner and is getting 5 stars for a great response where the caring in our service industry has declined in recent years. Thank You read more

For Daft Badger Brewing I had the Flying Kiwi on two separate occasions. This is a Vienna style Lager with Kiwi at the forefront. I have had Kiwi beers in the past and usually I get along with them okay. This particular lager is light and clean with not too much sweetness which is something I prefer. My first outing with this lager was off the tap at the taproom which has a nice patio by the way. It's where I enjoyed this beer. The carbonation was good and the Kiwi highlight was pleasant and noticeable. I bought a can of the same, Flying Kiwi to take home. The carbonation was not comparable with what was in the can and what was off the tap. It really affected the flavor of the beer from the can and didn't taste all that similar to what I had off the tap. It still wasn't bad but the flavors seemed more muddled and not as distinctive as what the beer on tap tasted like. read more

Great atmosphere and the nachos are amazing! Great staff too! Parking can be found on the street in front or on the side.

Service was outstanding and the vibes are good. I had the nachos and have some advice around portion size. I'm 6'3" and 240lbs and yes indeed I can put it away and have little shame. The full order was too much. Trust me I made it 65% of the way through and was dying. Find a friend and tag-team that mo-fo. Meat was drier than a bone but extra salsa helped (#upcharge). Nice atmosphere food was hit or miss though. Our nacos were just a bunch of chips and a little cheese, very bland. Brie and apple sandwich was a winner, but Mac and cheese saide was bland and very basic. read more

Good variety of food on the menu but I have to order the nachos every time; they're the best in the area. I don't eat meat so I ask for the pork on the side and sometimes add garbanzo beans. There's always the perfect amount of cheese and I love the combination of red cabbage, sun-dried tomatoes, and olives. The beer lineup is great, too! The blood orange IPA is a classic and one of my favorites. read more

Great little brewing spot that's placed a bit randomly in a neighborhood street (we thought we were in the wrong spot at first!). Really friendly staff, quality food that's priced reasonably, they were able to make a few alterations for our dietary needs. Soup was SO salty, but everything else was great and can't beat the price. Only regret was not tipping more!! Very good beers and delicious food. Great ambiance in a garden setting tucked back on a residential street (yes, your GPS is guiding you correctly). Pleasant and attentive service. Cool spot with great, friendly service. The food has potential, and the pretzel was nice, but was very disappointed to see the chicken ceaser wrap served with commercial bacon topping (like a salad bar) instead of actual strips of cooked bacon like the other menu items. For the price, and all of the bacon hype on the menu, that was an unexpected letdown in quality. read more
