This was only our second time at Snow Eater. Last time we didn't try food so I figured I should review the place based on food as well. I had the chicken and waffle sandwich with hot honey. Freaking legit! It didn't fit in with my diet but that's ok. Everything we ordered from in our group was really, really good. Snow Eater for the win!!!! read more

My hotel recommended this brewery. A quiet place on a Thursday night, which welcomes families and couples. There are TV screens for any sport. I received quick attention and recommendations - even the special burger was not available. ;( I ordered the Elk burger with fries and drank an apple cider - the food was good and burger well cooked. However I selected a beer to bring home to Florida (for my spouse) - the Sparkle Pony - a recommendation from the waitress, and the beer was rated a 5 by my spouse! There is parking available at the front door and on the side street. read more

A great place to come around with the family. We especially enjoy sitting in the makeshift outdoor area under the heaters. Our dog Hank loves to get a "doggie beer" and the toddler approves the chicken strips! read more

The atmosphere is amazing... dog friendly. The food was good and the cider fantastic ...

Our last brewery before the Idaho border.. and what a great pick! The place looks great and I love the way it's decorated inside; it has an outdoorsy theme and the lights above the bar are cool. There are two levels of seating inside and a small patio outside with a fire pit. Our bartender was great!l; friendly and helpful. We ordered a flight of six beers to try some different styles and everything was tasty. The Moose Trot was our favorite (chocolate peanut butter stout). They also have a kitchen and offer pizza and bar food but we had just eaten. All in all great place, great service, great beer. read more

One of the nicest places in the valley to go have an excellent beer and some great food. Most breweries have maybe one or two decent beers snow eater just about every beer they have is excellent. read more

Unbelievably good beer. My wife and I got a flight and tried just about everything, and we liked everything we tried. I got the Reuben, and it was really good. My wife got the Idaho Nachos, and she said they were decent. Their hot wings are honest to goodness HOT wings. The staff was super friendly, the beer got to us quick, and the noise of the place wasn't too bad considering the bare style of architecture. This place is a total win. read more

A couple friends and I met up at Snow Eater Brewing Company for happy hour, food, and conversation. Their happy hour lasts until 6PM and it's $1 off their beers. There's no discount on ciders, flights, or food. We started with a beer, a cider, and a flight of IPAs. The beer was Summer Land (Hefeweizen - Wheat Beer / 6.6% / 10 IBU. A very subtle blood orange Hefeweizen). The cider was from Snow Drift Cider and was Semi-dry Perry Apple Cider. The flight consisted of six 5oz pours (Devils Dream, Temple, Nice Day, Sunrise Park, Sparkle Pony, and Commitment Issues). I really liked most of the IPA's. There was one with a high IBU, which did get a little bitter beer face response. For food, my friends both ordered the Beer Cheese nachos (Kettle chips, smoked pulled pork, bacon, onions, tomatoes jalapeños and beer cheese). I went with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders and salad (Swiss Cheese, Arugula and Ranch Dressing). I really liked the laid-back atmosphere and (though small), their patio was great. I look forward to trying this place again. read more

I have lived in Liberty lake area for almost 2 years and just now got to visit this hidden gem. Laid back atmosphere with great wait staff. Ashley was super helpful and gave this new beer drinker a few samples so I didn't end up with something I didn't like. We got the rain down on the barrels that we sat next to as well. The menu was surprisingly good for a pub. We had the charcuterie board which had an amazing Bavarian pretzel that was ginormous with lovely meats and cheeses etc, well as the beer cheese nachos. I really wanted the poke nachos but I was sharing with my husband and he is not a fan of raw fish. We loved it here and we will definitely come back. Ended up buying a hat from their merch. And had a great time together. read more

Snow Eater Brewing provided yet another solid brewery experience for the Spokane and Couer d'Alene areas. Liberty Lake is sandwiched right between the two cities and more or less makes up a metro area. I had two beers from Snow Eater, one I liked a bit more than the other but it all evened out in the Yelp score of five stars. The first beer that I had was their Summer Land, a wheat beer Hefeweizen which pretty enjoyable. Not too heavy handed with cloves or banana but banana was present in the flavor profile. Other flavors detected in this beer was citrus, Blood Orange, yeasty and wheat flavors. The beer that really won me over however was the Devil's Dream, a rye IPA. A type of IPA you don't see often in breweries at all but one that I go for if the opportunity arises and I am so glad I took the opportunity with this one as it really "wow'ed" me. There was notes of citrus in this beer too but overall had a bitter, coffeish flavor along with the rye and hops. It was definitely this beer that was the final deciding factor in the score and I believe that the beertender said the Devil's Dream was one of the owner's favorites. read more

Consistently great beer and friendly staff. A few of my favorite beers are Sunrise Park (Hazy IPA), Devil's Dream (Black Rye IPA), and Moose Trot (peanut butter chocolate stout). They also have a few ciders and local wines to choose from. We really enjoy their trivia nights on Tuesdays. Bonus: their patio is dog-friendly and your pup can even have their own doggie beer! read more

Great beers. And service. We got the pretzel and pulled pork sliders. The pretzel was gross with balsamic vinegar on it. Nasty. Had to wipe it off. That was a -1 but the sliders were delicious and a +10. Id recommend them. read more

Great decor, wood lodge feel, cute wood bear, tall tables and chairs, has upstairs area for more seating as well as a covered patio area. Really enjoyed the pretzel with balsamic sauce on the side. We shared the Reuben sandwich with fries. Our beertender was awesome. She was patient with questions, suggests and tasters. I ordered the Temple IPA, nice crispy hop flavor. My spouse had a couple of the Fall Line barreled aged stout. Our other table mate kept it light with the pilsner. My 3 1/2 old grandson enjoyed the pretzel and fries. He also enjoyed playing with the checkers, wood blocks and other games. We are looking forward to returning. read more

Very chill spot to hangout. Good service. Good drinks (I really like the Roy Rodgers one). I recommend trying the pretzel. read more

Just not impressive in any way. Food was bad, especially the pizza, and the beer was just OK. I asked the "bartender" for a Hefeweizen and he recommended their "Snoweizer" a watered down version of beer that would make grocery store light beers rest at ease knowing there is no competition here. Why did he not just pour me a Hefeweizen? I assume it's his lack of knowledge. The only saving grace is that it wasn't awful and they give you plenty of food. Still, I won't be going back. read more

Really good pizza! Never had pizza with honey on it before. Was an enjoyable afternoon.

Small time vibes, pretty alright brew. Not the carbonation domination it seems most Pacific Northwest breweries have over powering their beers. Lots of smooth quality's, and even some sense of adventure. Haven't occurred to me to mix ciders before. The pesto panini is quite good, but I wouldn't say the bacon sausage is good. I'd say it is disappointing, and difficult to eat. Friendly service, and a brewery environment no doubt. Not much guest appeal really. Still a nice stop from time to time. read more

Top botch beer! If only it were a few miles east in the vastly superior state of Idaho. No obnoxious anti-Christian banners despite it being June and in Washington, so I'll be back on a regular basis. read more

It's been a while and I need to update my review..... It's been a challenging few years for businesses. While many have noticeably struggled, Snow Eater brewing has made adjustments and thrived. Their food is good, beer has continued to improve, and even the service has continued to improve. I am not sure how many places I can say that about. Yes, prices may have increased some, but where haven't they? The difference here is that the quality has not suffered with all the challenges, it has gotten better. Great selection of quality beer. No matter what your taste is, you should be able to find a very drinkable beverage. Also, they are dog friendly. They even have a dog menu. Please, only bring well behaved dogs so they can continue to do this. Snow Eater has proven they are in it for the long haul. Cheers! read more

It could have been better. PROS: Plenty of seating and there is outdoor seating when the weather is nice which is tough to come by. I've been a couple of times and it has never been busy, maybe 50% capacity at most. CONS: All of the tables were filthy. Every time I have ordered food, the food is so gross. Soggy, microwaved (staff told me the wings were microwaved frozen), terrible tasting, straight-up awful food. I can't stress enough, do not order food. SERVICE: Also awful. I'm in no rush, but it took over an hour to get the microwaved wings. Overall, it's a great place to meet friends for an over-priced beer. Again, stay away from the food. read more

Really cool interior. Variety of tables. Huge beer selection. We had a few IPAs and really liked them. The food was great. You get a load of fries with your sandwiches! Very tasty food. Will be back for more hopefully. read more

We stopped in for lunch and were so very glad we did. They have an ample outdoor seating area with cover and heaters so we enjoyed a cozy lunch despite the nippy weather. We were surprised at the extensive beer list - twice as long as a typical brew pub. I tasted 3 beers and liked them all so what to do. Well, they offer 5 oz. pours so I could have two with my lunch! I loved the peanut butter stout and Ta Ta Tart sour. My hubby enjoyed the dark rye beer. I am gluten free so ordering lunch at a brew pub can sometimes be challenging. Not a problem at Snow Eater. The Mr. Sasquatch pizza is served with a gluten-free cauliflower crust. It's topped with prosciutto, artichokes, dates, balsamic vinegar, arugula and hot honey. So delicious and umami! It was my first time trying a cauliflower crust and it was better than many of the traditional gluten-free crusts I've tried. My hubby had the Sausage Fest Pretzel. It was an enormous serving for one person and would serve two for lunch quite nicely. The pretzel was lovely and the two kinds of bratwurst were yummy. We plan to go back when we are in Liberty Lake again. read more

We had high hopes for this place. When we got there the oven was broken so they said one of the only things they could make for us were the ahi tuna nachos. They were good but my husband and I ended up getting pretty severe food poisoning from them so beware! Nice beer selection with lots of different types of beer on tap. Not very kid friendly for a brewery, we got some glares from the staff when our kids were loud. Won't be coming back read more

Great atmosphere nice selection of beers. Just stopped in for the game. I would recommend checking this place out.

Give it a shot! The beer is good and the menu is impressive. We have been twice, the first time on a Sunday afternoon the service was really bad, one bartender trying to do everything by himself, but the other evening service was better. I think they are still working some kinks out so give them some grace. Overall an awesome addition to Liberty Lake. read more

Was in the area and wanted to try this place out. Did not have the food, but the beer was pretty decent. The menu layout is not the best on beer selection. Was not until after we ordered did we realized there was another page of options. Had fun playing a card game they had. Service was decent to slow as they got really busy. But with a couple of folks and the size of the place, it should have been handled easily. Not a place I would go out of my way for, but nice if in the area. read more
