Stopped in to check out what they had to offer here. This place is part of a larger small business conglomerate. The brewery is tucked into the back right of the building and shares the space with a pizza place, bakery and coffee shop. There are a few tables to sit at as well as the bar. The service was quick and friendly and they offer a wide selection of beers from light to dark, crisp to hoppy and others in between. When I was there, sadly only the brewery and the pizza were open but I would definitely return to enjoy some of the other businesses in this space. read more

This pizza is hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten. The crust was SO flavorful and don't even get me started on the sauce. I believe it was marinara, pesto, and vodka sauce and it was all homemade. I've had a lot of pizza in my day and this takes the cake! I was in on a Tuesday at 5pm i was the only one at the bar and i think there was a table of people having a meeting of some sort. Maybe at the right time it would be better but the bartender was more interested in talking other employees that would wander by. The patio crusher IPA ok, i rated 3.5. The bartender was pathetic, and I had to walk down to the cash register to settle my tab. He couldn't take the car down and do it himself. Like I said he was very busy. I was the only one there. Black Label Brewing is brewery visit #197 for me. BLB is in a little shared marketplace area with a couple of good places and a coffee place. Very cool, welcome space with plenty of tables. I got a flight of 6, while SWPFTD went with a pint of the amber lager. The strawberry kiwi was first. Very sweet and not my style for that reason but good flavors. It seriously made me think of wine coolers. Westside Sessions is a quite good IPA. Good aroma and hop flavor. Just a decent little IPA. Montgomery Main saison is a very good saison in my opinion. Smooth flavors and very friendly. Those who normally don't like Belgians this would actually be a good one to acquaint yourself with. The NAC is a coffee cream ale. Great coffee flavor but a bit lighter than the golden stouts that are more common. The Scotch ale is a good offering. Smooth just like I like my...beers. Last for me was the espresso stout which didn't have an overwhelming coffee flavor to it. It was definitely there but didn't have the overwhelming dark coffee flavor so many have. I like this one. BLB has a great location and is serving up some pretty darn good beers. This will be a return trip for sure especially since the pizza place next to it is legit. This place is tucked away in between a few other pubs and restaurants and is located in the center of Spokane's historic up and happening district. Walk in and go straight towards the back, pick a bar seat or table and relax. The staff is super sweet and are happy to answer any question. The brick walls and exposed vents above add to the urban atmosphere leaving you anxious for what's to come. The vibe here is mellow and soft country rock music plays in the background. Their beer list is modest and I tried the Honey Blonde which was light and refreshing followed by an Espresso Stout which was more bold and thick. My date couldn't resist getting a bite from the pizzeria (Peace Pie) a few steps away under the same roof as the sweet smells filled the air. Driving through from a 2 week epic road trip. Just 3 hours from home we decided to stop in Spokane to try out some epic beers -BUT none offered to accommodate dogs. So we found Black Label Brewing and I'm so glad!! This place is awesome. We tried several very tasty brews. Pipers Pilsner and Homey Blonde are solid and lovely Sunday afternoon beer. I really enjoy the public market concept, so I'm glad that Spokane has executed that here, and put a brewery in to boot. It gives it a very open and very laid back feel. Older couples, hipsters, families with kids... Everyone was and felt welcome here. They had a good selection, sort of hitting what you would generally expect at a brewery with a few interesting ones added. I had two and liked both. Nothing remarkable but definitely not bad. There's a cute courtyard area outside. They also have a rooftop patio but I guess it's only open for special events, which is a shame. If I was going to do an event, I would look there. read more

This place is all kinds of awesome! Vincent and Alyssa were friendly, funny, and kept the good beer coming. Everyone of the beers I tried were local and excellent. Also good, chill atmosphere, lots of space for social distancing, really cool old building with an amazing chandelier of glass bottles hanging in the rafters. Also right off the Centennial Trail, so it was perfect to stop in for a refreshing beer after a good bike ride along the river. I highly recommend this place. Black Label Brewing Company: another great place to grab a tasty micro brew (or several) in downtown Spokane! We had a little bit of difficulty finding this place, because it's inside the 'Saranac Commons' space, and does not have it's own street signage. Once we were inside the right building, though, it was easy to find the BLBC tap room: it takes up nearly a quarter of the place. For seating, there are several bar stools and a few tables inside, plus a couple more tables in a small outdoor courtyard. We chose to sit inside at first, but then moved outside to enjoy the sun. Never having tried any of Black Label's beers before, I opted to go with the sampler flight first: pick any six 5 oz samplers for $10. So, basically it works out to be two pints' worth for the same price as two pints, but you get to try more variety. I don't recall what all I sampled, but I do remember that it was their IPA that I enjoyed so much I ordered another pint of it. I don't know if these guys are canning or bottling yet, but I'll certainly keep an eye out for their stuff at my local bottle shops :-) read more

We did not have good service. We are from Las Vegas and we were there with my 22 soon to be 23 year old daughter who I have not seen in several months. Was hoping to enjoy a local beer with her. The two employees at the bar rejected my daughters vertical ID, would not even look at it. I would understand if the persons with vertical ID was drunk, or partying, but she was with her parents. We left and went to another local place a few blocks away that happily took our business. Lesson do this brewery, read the room, she is with her parents enjoying a pizza from next door. read more

The Black Label Brewing Company was a very happy surprise during my day of urban hiking through downtown Spokane... I've been to many breweries but this was the first I've been to that is part of a co-op within the same, rustic / vintage building shared with other businesses that offer food, coffee, local art and crafts, etc... They had a good selection of craft beers and great, friendly wait-staff. - I'm pretty sure I either had a stout or a porter (can't exactly remember which but those are my beers...) - I was not disappointed! read more

This little brewery is awesome! Great beer, great brewers/owners, and the patrons that go there are fun and nice to chat with! Their set up is kinda cool with all the other little shops in the same hall - plant one, coffee shop, bakery, and a lunch/quick bite spot! You can get a bite from the biscuit place and bring it into the brewery, so that's pretty cool! Overall there aren't many beers that AREN'T good. They also have so many beers on tap there is bound to be something for everyone! Reds, ambers, pales, IPAs, they've got it! They also have a really cool mug club that if you join you get quite the hefty wooden stein that you can pick what you want on it! Reminds me of something right out the medieval times!
