So I was looking through the list of breweries yet to try in Spokane and Community Pint stood out so I sat down and was a bit overwhelmed with the large selection. I decided half pours were the ticket so I could get through more selections. I tried heater Allen pils, smooth as silk with a head like ice cream. Fast fashion hot pizza hazy. No pizza taste but brewery is next to a pizza place so all names reference pizza. The Russian river Belgian ale was good but not worthy repeating. The sour was tripping animals pink lemonade sour! That was a hoot. I finished with stadler grapefruit radler which I've had but never from a keg. It was divine. The service and friendliness of the patrons was special. I got a guy and his wife to try my pils before I had some and they were as impressed. I'll be back! read more

The area around Community Pint reminded me of the west and northwest sides of Chicago, full of grit and concrete with pockets of development and creativity. To be fair to the area around Community Pint, this is what all of downtown Spokane felt like to me. The streets are quiet and clean and there is a surprising amount of parking for the downtown area of a city. Businesses shut down early and you have to really focus on google maps to find the brewery that is open past 8 pm. Community Pint has a unique angle for craft beer lovers: kegs and kegs of different craft beers offered on tap, in what I assume is a rotating list of beers, almost like a brewery that has a chalkboard menu that can be scratched out when a new experimental beer is ready to be sampled. I did not understand the concept or menu at first. It took my wife pointing out the empty kegs from different breweries on the floor for me to fully understand what they were doing. I gained a new appreciation when it clicked. We enjoyed our beers by the window, admiring the renovated industrial building across the street that had been converted into condos, while the rest of the Community Pint crew hosted trivia night. It is easy to see how Community Pint was named the best craft beer spot in Spokane. read more

No crap beer here! Finally got a chance to stop by! I have looked at their beer list on Untapped and finally said "I'm stopping". Great options for beer here. Should be able to find something for everyone, unless you happen to just like the canned water that is passed off as beer....you won't find that here. What you will find are many craft beers from the PNW that you may not find on tap elsewhere in the area. They also have a selection of cans and bottles. If you want one of the beers on tap to go, they have a canner there as well. Staff was very friendly and knew about the beers. Great place to stop after work! Music could have been a little better. A little loud and not to my liking, but hey, I am getting older...Get off my lawn! I'll be back! read more

I am so happy I finally tried this place! The beers on tap are awesome -- great micro breweries from all over the Pacific Northwest. In addition to pints, you can also get taster trays. Oh and the best? They allow you to bring in any outside food you'd like! Also bonus: they allow dogs inside. If you're a sports fan, they have a TV and for big games they have a projector. I came in on Nov. 4th to watch the MLS playoff game between the Timbers and the Sounders. This is a great, low key taproom with a great vibe. I will 100% be coming back. read more

With 24 rotating taps, no TV and no free WiFi, come here for a beer (or wine) and have a conversation. They have done a great job of opening the space up to let in more light and add more tables. The husband and wife team serve a cold brew with a smile. If they're not too busy at the bar, you will get refills at your stool, otherwise, it's a quick trip to the center of the bar and tap handles to place your order. CP is located in the previous Jones Radiator space. They've done a fantastic job of opening up the space and the couple who run the place are always knowledgeable and friendly! They have an impressive rotating tap list and I always find something that I haven't tried before here. All the important aspects here are fabulous: beer, people, and the friendly and knowledgeable crew. The only areas that I would to love to see here is if they had a shelf of board games near the entrance and painted the keg doors with black board paint so they could add new daily tap specials. read more
