Super cute , looks like handmade? Coasters

I usually don't give 5 starts. But we noticed that the sign at the front said closed at 8:00pm and we walked in at 8:15 .. and asked if they were still open? But obviously they weren't lol but the girl working was super down to stay open lol. Thank youuuu!! We came just to grab a drink before picking our friends at the airport. I had the bartender surprise me with a beer I got a stout wich I loved. But forgot to ask her what it was. My partner got a Pilsner beer (also forgot to ask what it was) We both enjoyed the two beers both had a good taste. The place is super cute! The plants , and since it's spooky season their decor is really nice. They also have a popcorn machine, lots of board games you can choose from and stickers. My favorite part I do have to say was Mr. copper (DOG) not sure if he's always there but he's the goodest boy. makes the place even better. I'll for sure have to come back here at some point. Thanks for staying a little later! :)

A long long time ago, while traveling around looking for a house to purchase, I came across this tiny brewery. Great beer back then and glad to see it survived the covid shutdown.

The owner, Char, is in the middle! and the rest of the squad of friends.

Not much I this place doesn't have. Hot dogs, great beer, brewery dog, badass backroom with vinyl, free popcorn and so much more. I enjoy the service as well and the ambiance is unmatched in many ways.

Awesome place. Great service!! Everyone is so friendly and attentive. Lots of options for beer and they even have a mug club

A very fine Pumpkin Spice Ale!

When I think of the term "Badass" my mind often drifts to Uma Thurman (The Bride) prowling into O-Ren Ishii's lair to seize her revenge with the musical piece Battle Without Honor Or Humanity blaring from Kill Bill Vol. 1. OR The film made decades earlier than Kill Bill, Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill in which Varla (played by Tura Satana) takes a desert by storm as a fearsome trio taking the desert by storm with various types of locals getting in their way. So the fact that I saw a brewery with "Badass" in it not only seized those fond cinematic outings but it's also something you rarely see with business names. So to make it quite simple when I saw the name of this brewery I knew I had to stop by. A few years earlier I thought I had a pretty good hold on visiting breweries in Spokane but quite a few sprung up over a short period of time which made this trip to stay on top of it a priority. We tried two beers here which we really enjoyed. We got a pumpkin beer which had a good spice profile to it and wasn't too sweet. We usually get one pumpkin spice beer each Autumn to avoid overkill on pumpkin beer and I was glad that this will probably be the one for this year. The other was a coffee stout which had a great flavor to it. The coffee aspect was well balanced and was really enjoyable to drink. Of course I had to get swag here! I got a fun truckers style cap with "Badass Brewing " on the front of it making the visit here complete!

Sitting at the bar. Love all the wood in this place; so cozy, rustic and beautiful!

This place truly is badass! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you're in such a cozy, fun, inviting and friendly space. The owner, Char, has definitely put some love and TLC into her business, while brewing up some delicious beers. The Raspberry Wheat was def my fav! And if you find someone willing to buy a round for the bar, ringing the bell is super fun! We will def be back!

So a few friends wanted to take me to this beer yoga (BOGA) place they've been going to every time they are in Spokane. I will say that enjoyed my time and enjoyed the drinks! Boga happens every Sunday from 12:30pm-1:30pm. And it's only $12/pint for beer and yoga. The yoga instructor and the attendees to BOGO is a blast to hang with each other. The atmosphere is great and fitting for a taproom too. If you are just looking for a chill bar, this is a great place to be at too! By the way, this place is LGBT friendly as well! All good people!

Ask the Community - Badass Backyard Brewing

    Is the brewery family friendly?

We are currently 21+ since we don't have food and aren't brewing on site yet, the WA liquor board won't allow it. We do hope to be in the future though. V-Twin is nearby and allows children.

When this cow wanders in, there might be stouts being slowly savored near the fireplace, humans discussing ancient literature, a family laughing over a half-finished pizza, or a nearby table deep into a heated game of Magic the Gathering with ESBs and cider in hoof. It's cozy, communal, and usually feels just right. One thing this cow respects -- the beer here is strong, and it's not brewed for the weak. There's nothing on tap that isn't unique or intentional. That said, this also means Bardic isn't for everyone. The average beer drinker looking for a simple, easy-drinking West Coast IPA that isn't pushing 9% ABV may leave unsatisfied, and that likely eliminates a large portion of beer drinkers in the area. For adventurous palates, though, this place is a treat. Lately, this cow has noticed the welcome hasn't been quite as warm as it used to be. The beer and food remain excellent, but the last few visits felt a bit less friendly. A smile or a greeting would go a long way in restoring the inviting feel this pasture is known for. Nothing has soured, and this cow will return. I just hope the hospitality rises to match the boldness of the beer and the heart of the space -- because when it does, Bardic Brewing is a fantastic place to graze. Moo.

Imagine our surprise to find this location to be so much more warm & welcoming. Clearly, based on the theme, we are not among the target clientele, yet, you wouldn't know it based on service & customer interactions, many were regulars. Tons of games available & interesting decor. Here, I had a very tasty pineapple Cameo IPA. Being as I'm not usually an IPA fan, I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult. Either way, I was happy! The hubs had Cure Dark Wounds, which was also tasty but I liked mine better. This was also brewery #284 for me! Natural 20 has a nice sized taproom with a smallish bar at the front. It was pretty slow when we walked in which was cool for us as we got to chat with the gent working the bar and another guy that was there. I did not do a good job of reviewing each beer I tried because we were talking too much. That said I enjoyed the beers but weirdly I'm going to comment on the food more. SWPFTD ordered a pint while I got a flight. Of the ones I tried I liked Featherfall and Dual Spires the best. We also ordered some lembas bread with bacon and a bratwurst sandwich with bleu cheese, the Dracoliche. Really good! The people were super friendly, the vibe and beers were really good, and the food was solid. Score! I ordered the Fig Sandwich and the Fancy Pants Sando because I could not decide between the two as they both sounded very unique in different ways. I called the place up and arranged to come pick the food up. The person on the phone was very thoughtful in keeping in mind at what time I would arrive so he could arrange for the sandwich to be toasted at the right time. I appreciate small details like that. When I arrived, I noticed there were several tables and a bar where you can essentially get brews and food. I noticed they had several beers on tap which I was very curious about, but unfortunately did not have time to sit down and eat at this establishment. The person at the bar was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. The two sandwiches came up to $40ish. I brought the sandwiches home and first tried a few bites of the Fancy Pants Sando. I will have to say it was the better of the two sandwiches. I appreciated the goat cheese in the sandwich and the mix of different ingredients, but it was not something I would consider to be a great sandwich, at least not for me. Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The beer looks fun though and might be a good reason to give this place a try, and you may enjoy their sandwiches and many people have. For me, that's a no-go.
