I had a very great time at Brick West Brewing for a team event. The space is perfect for groups with plenty of seats and a really comfortable vibe. Beer selection was solid, there were a lot to choose I got overwhelmed, but the staff were super friendly and knew their stuff. If you're not sure what to get, just tell them what you like, they'll walk you through some options and let you sample them before deciding, which I really appreciated the hospitality. For food, we had pulled pork, smoked brisket, buns, and a cold cut tray. Everything was tasty I have no complaints. Service was a little slow (for the pork and brisket), but everyone was nice so it didn't bother me too much. Overall, definitely an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! Beer was great! I had a flight and all of which I had were tasty. I had a pretty wide variety too from their gose, to the lager, wheat beer, stout, and IPA. I enjoyed them all. Friendly staff and a chill environment. There wasn't a lot of people here since I was drinking beer at 11AM on Friday like a bum but it's chill because I'm traveling rn. However it seems like this place will be bumping later tonight and theyve got lots of seating and outdoor arrangements. I hear they have good food too but I can't speak to that myself. This place was super busy. Many bartenders and the lines were kinda long for ordering beer. The beer had great flavor and their merchandise was slim. I ended getting a koozie and tin tacker. I would come again if it wasn't so packed. 20 minutes in line was difficult. I believe it was graduation weekend so I can understand. read more

I went for trivia night. The trivia was too long and not very fun. The brisket was dry, would not order again. The rolls tasted like white wonder bread. The fries were good. There is a counter to order drinks and a separate one to order food. I ordered through the app and then just picked it up at the food counter. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating is cafeteria style (long tables with chairs and you can share them with strangers). Parking is city parking so good luck, no lot. read more

I thought I reviewed all the breweries we went to from our last Spokane trip in which we bought bottles, cans, samples and a pint or two along the way for our shopping spree for Spokane craft beer. Dreaded having to visit downtown Spokane....again. But it was for a family birthday event, so I was stuck going to one of the 15,000+ brew pubs in the metro. Guess what? I liked this place a lot. First impressions were from a friendly staff, who were all regular folks, and not aloof hipster runway models. Secondly, they're making a great brewed product here. I make danged good ales at home, and it's great to have something that's better than mine. Star of the show was their Brick-by-Brick IPA. I love an over-hoppy brew, and this one delivers. Wifey's BW Pilsner was crisp and refreshing. It would be a great, 'after mowing the lawn in Summer' beverage, and was an antithesis profile to the BxB. Went looking for a local brewery to kill some time in Spokane and found ourselves at Brick West. What a great accident! The beer was really good - my flight was totally IPAs (yes, they had enough IPAs to fill a flight!). My husband's was better balanced, from light wheat to stouts. We both were very happy with our selections. The building is well designed with lots of eye candy and instagrammable spots. Quick stop, our first time here. My husband had the Weiss beer and thought it was pretty good. They had a super interesting cider that I ordered and loved. Mojito! Still thinking about it today. You order drinks yourself at the bar and the ladies were nice and helpful. (They recommended the Mojito.) You order your food at a window on the side of the big room and they text you when it's ready. Both the chowder and chili are served with sliced baguette pieces. And they were both really good. (IMO, their chili and the Texas Roadhouse chili are very similar.) There are three garage doors that open into the huge outdoor area for when the weather is nice. Such a great brewery and overall great place to hang out. I've spent an afternoon here with family and evening with friends and it was the best. Select your beers inside and then head outside to the patio area. You can order food, listen to music, people watch, and relax. Such a great neighborhood feel. Update: I said I wouldn't go back because I was disappointed with their COVID protocols, but My sister and a friend wanted to meet here Friday afternoon with our kiddos (Ages 3, 2, and 10 months), because they have a huge grass area for the kids to hang out in. I'm Glad I went! The service was great, the employees kind and patient with the kids, and our kids had a blast! They had a DJ playing music and my two year old danced her little heart out. This is a great spot for parents to be able to relax a little while their kids play. We also got their hummus plate and it was BOMB. The taco truck that was parked there was way over priced though. Love this place, especially on a sunny, warm day. The outdoor area is so relaxing and if you prefer indoors, there's plenty of windows and bar tops and big screens for any sport you are watching. If you want to hide away from the crowd, there's an upstairs seating area. Beer is good and cold. We've even enjoyed the Beer Brats. Limited, but good food selection. Big fan of this spot. Good beer, ok food, great location and space. With that being said, came in on a Sunday to watch some Seahawks football. The game was on every tv, along with the giant projector. However, they weren't playing the sound. At least 80% of the customers are there for the game. We asked if we could get the sound to the game, and the bartender said they don't play the sound to the game. Just seems silly that you wouldn't appease your customers, and take advantage of the Sunday football crowd with such a great space to watch sports.
