My friends and I ordered the same meal BLTA's with Caesar salads. Our salads were lettuce and dressing only when online they say it comes with Parmesan cheese and croutons, they did not have any cheese or croutons on them. Cute place! Very open and spacious. Staff were friendly. Love that they make their own bread in house. I ordered a slice of veggie pizza and added pepperoni. I was disappointed when I got it. Looked like they gave me a slice of pepperoni and just added a very few veggies. They we're stingy with the veggies. I got it luke warm, somewhat cold. The dough was soft and good. We used to eat here all the time. Ordered an avocado chicken grilled and got a deep fried chicken. Ordered Mac and cheese and they substituted tortilla soup since they ran out of Mac but didn't tell us until the food was served. Portions are ridiculously small so I ordered double chicken which was the same as the single and deep fried. Owners were not there (a few Sundays ago) and I suspect the kids working there just didn't care. Time to step up or sell the place. read more

Mimosa was fine in an aspect that it just tastes like juice. Didn't taste anything else really. Was refreshing though. $8 was pricy for it. The breakfast burrito was an average burrito. It wasn't anything special but it was fine. I think my favorite was the panini. I really liked the Cole slaw and chips it came with. Yeah, it's there and busy and available. The paninis were good. It's all a bit overpriced, but decent. Food comes out quick. Great selection of flavors for your coffee drink of choice. Servers were friendly- even with the busy busy crowds! If you're looking for a memorable dining experience to rave about, probably not it. But you're looking for a decent quick meal (which many of us are in the nature town) then this is a solid choice. The chicken pesto panini was good and the turkey avocado was even better. My colleague and I just arrived in Coeur D'Alene starving and ready for some lunch. Very close to the resort hotel, we walked over and quickly ordered from the overhead menu. You walk up, place your order, pay, get your electronic receipt sent and they ask your name for when they call you up to pick up your order. I will say the pizza looked pretty good, but I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap while my colleague ordered the mushroom bacon burger without the bun. Of course it did come with a bun. I guess they forgot to not include it. The Buffalo wrap was huge and very filling. Also a bit sloppy, but not too bad. They have beer, but we opted for the soft drinks which you fill yourself. We went a little before noon during the recent, HOT Ironman week and it was already CROWDED for lunch. How it works: Order and pay at the counter, find indoor or outdoor seating, wait for your name to be called, collect your food, enjoy! We ordered the Turkey Avocado Panini, a slice of pizza, and the Avocado Cobb Salad. The panini was large and tasty, and came with a side of chips. The pizza slice was large and thin, NY-style, and tasty as well. My slice was little undercooked - it was too busy to ask for it to be recooked - but the pizza on the counter looked better so I'd give it another try on another visit. The Cobb salad was loaded with shredded bacon...maybe too much bacon...I know, that's crazy. It was just a tad overwhelming. The counter service team was lovely. Despite the line they took their time with orders. Everything was good and I'd return but I'd likely hit up a few other places first. read more

This was the exact breakfast I wanted. After camping nearby and coming into town, we were famished. Having never been to CDA before, I fired up the Yelp app and found a whole lot of restaurants that were surely the exact breakfast I wanted. I mean, it's a breakfasty town and even on a Monday morning it seems like the exact place you want to be when that hankering for scrambled eggs comes up. So we parked downtown and it turns out we were right in front of Rustic. That was how we made it here--pure luck and convenience. We came in and there was not much of a line, so we ordered right away. I got Two Eggs Over (I selected overeasy) and it came with eggs, breakfast potatoes, and bacon. Everything was perfect. The egg was cooked beautifully, the potatoes crispy and salty, and the bacon was just under crisp, exactly as I like it. We also ordered one of their avo toasts, but I think my eggs won the day. It's an order at the counter spot, and they bring the food out. We opted to sit out on the patio and that was the right call. It was lovely! It was warming up quick, but there was shade and we plotted our day while refueling. read more

I came here on a recommendation from a friend who said this pizza is the best around, he was not lying. If you like New York style pizza this is absolutely the place to go. I got a single slice of pepperoni for $5 and the Caesar salad for $13.50. The pizza itself was a good sized slice, the foldability to pick it up and eat was perfect. It had a nice crispy bottom that allowed for a little crunch, cheese was nice and stringy, & the crust is a nice ending. The salad was a good size for the price, however it was very mid. Some of the lettuce was bitter, the chicken was lacking, the Caesar dressing along with the cheese & croutons were very generic. The Service was mediocre I saw the servers bringing plates to everyone but she left mine at the counter to pick up. Also got a bottled water that ended being about four bucks.
