Breakfast Panini

Such a cute downtown shop! The food is amazing and there is so much variety. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which was nice.

BLTA with a small piece of avocado

My friends and I ordered the same meal BLTA's with Caesar salads. Our salads were lettuce and dressing only when online they say it comes with Parmesan cheese and croutons, they did not have any cheese or croutons on them. Our BLTA's had half a sliver of avocado and were very dry. We were recommended this place by a friend and it was not a pleasant experience.

Cute place! Very open and spacious. Staff were friendly. Love that they make their own bread in house. I ordered a slice of veggie pizza and added pepperoni. I was disappointed when I got it. Looked like they gave me a slice of pepperoni and just added a very few veggies. They we're stingy with the veggies. I got it luke warm, somewhat cold. The dough was soft and good. I'm sure there are other places that have way better pizza.

Cocktail - Cranberry Mimosa

Mimosa was fine in an aspect that it just tastes like juice. Didn't taste anything else really. Was refreshing though. $8 was pricy for it. The breakfast burrito was an average burrito. It wasn't anything special but it was fine. I think my favorite was the panini. I really liked the Cole slaw and chips it came with. If I would return I would recommend getting the paninis or sandwiches.

I went in after a morning on the lake. They have great service and good food. Best vibes on a beach day.

10/10 bagel & coffee shop in CDA. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Always like supporting local family businesses.

The tuna was a little on the sweet side for me, and I'm just not a fan of sweet-savory food. For instance, I hate pineapple on pizza, despite liking pineapple by itself. I think their tuna has sweet pickles in it. I'd like to try another meat, because even after all my complaints, they managed to make it tasty enough. So, it's worth giving a shot.

It was around lunch time and I prepared myself for this place to be busy and I'm glad I did. When I arrived, there was a long line of people waiting to order, almost all the tables inside were taken, and there were several people standing around waiting for their order. The ambience was definitely hustle and bustle and probably louder than usual. This didn't deter me as I got in line and prepared to put on my "patience" hat lol. While standing in line, I had plenty of time to look at the vast menu, which everything sounded great. However, I'm still not eating meat and I went with "The Vegg." It consisted of: fresh avocado, sunflower seeds, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, cucumbers and sprouts with your choice of cheese and dressings (taken from the menu description). I chose to have it on sourdough bread, with provolone cheese, and add cranberry sauce. I made my meal a combo and added a fountain drink and a side. As for my side, I went with Greek pasta salad. I saw a handful of dessert options that they make in-house and I couldn't take my eyes off this huge rice krispie treat. So I got that and a couple of big chocolate chip cookies. It took quite some time for the order to come out, which again I knew and didn't mind. People watching was interesting. My food was well worth the wait. The sandwich was sooo fresh, crisp, and very scrumptious. I got a half and it was huge. The bread also baked in-house was delicious and wasn't very sour. So if you like a lite sourdough then try this one. The veggies were plentiful, juicy, and crunchy and loved the cranberry sauce addition. I would get this sandwich over and over if the quality and taste is consistent every time. The Greek pasta salad was that of what you expect a traditional Greek pasta salad would have in it. It was a decent sized portion and had good seasoning. I'm looking forward to coming back for sure. Now let's talk about the rice krispie. It was so big, as big as my hand (see pic for reference lol). This rice krispie became an instant fav. It was soft and not overly sugary or saturated in butter. The best part I enjoyed was that they use whole mini marshmallows (see pic). The chocolate chip cookie was great with a good crisp outside and a soft but not undercooked inside. I'm looking forward to coming back to repeat this same exact meal--that's how much I enjoyed it. Despite it being lunch rush hour, every employee was working diligently and each one I encountered was smiling and nice. I also saw some cupcakes in another case that looked awesome and will try one of two of those next time.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this shop. It has a very warm and welcoming feel, with tall ceilings that make the space feel open and airy. When I first arrived it was quite busy, filled with families laughing and enjoying their time together, which created a lively and friendly environment. As someone who is more introverted, the crowd was a bit overwhelming at first, but it eventually cleared out and became a very comfortable place to relax. The staff were also incredibly kind. Since I had never tried a macaron before, I ordered a rose macaron to taste, and it was absolutely delicious. They also gave me a complimentary sample of their coffee, which was excellent. It was the house blend. And the bags they sell are very reasonably priced. The café is very well priced, with drinks ranging the $5-8 mark, and the foods ranging $3-8- and the quality of the food and drinks are quite rich in taste! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back.

My whole milk med vanilla latter however was not good. It was too sweet and tasted like marshmallow not vanilla. Maybe I should have asked how many shots of expresso are served in a medium. If you want sweet flavored milk you will be in heaven.

That said, the **service was fantastic**. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were properly taken care of throughout the meal. **The Food** I ordered the **Peach Bourbon BBQ Burger**. I loved the concept--the sweetness of the peach really complemented the savory beef beautifully. However, the execution fell a little short. There were only **two slices of peach** on the entire burger, and it was significantly **lacking sauce**. Between the minimal toppings and the lack of BBQ sauce, the burger ended up being quite dry. The sides didn't quite help the moisture issue, either. The **fries were very thin and overcooked**, giving them a crunchy, dry texture that made the overall meal feel a bit parched. Izzy's is a solid spot with great people, but I can't help but feel it might be a bit **overhyped by social media**. The flavors are definitely there, but for the price and the reputation, I was hoping for a bit more generosity with the toppings and better execution on the sides. Worth a try if you're in CDA, but maybe ask for extra sauce on the side!

For main dishes, my wife and I split two options...the tater tot poutine and a Dad burger. The crispy tots were piled a mile high, topped with Cougar gold cheese sauce, bacon bits and a fried egg. It was so decadent! The Dad burger was not quite as impressive as it was overdone...waygu beef, LTO, American cheese, pickles and a bacony-mayo sauce on top. A very casual and satisfying meal, just wish that burger hit the spot a little better.

I don't say this lightly: this might be **the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had in my life**…read more From the moment it came out, you could smell the sizzling steak and melted cheese before even taking the first bite. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside but still soft and pillowy inside, holding everything together without falling apart. The steak was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, chopped just right so every bite had the perfect balance of meat, cheese, and bread. And the cheese... perfectly melted into the steak so it coated every bite instead of just sitting on top. That first bite was one of those moments where you pause for a second because it's just *that good*. By the halfway point I was already thinking about when I could come back for another one. Of course, he went with the classic cheese steak to see what their original was like before delving into the other specialty ones they offer. I ordered the Dirty Hippie, which has no meat--double portions of both mushrooms and grilled onions, jalapenos, cheddar cheese and ranch on a fresh baked roll. For my sweet tooth, I also got a "Pop's brownie." The Dirty Hippie to me tasted pretty much like a cheese steak, but with no meat. So, they did do a good job of mimicking a real cheese steak. It was super hot, cheese was melted, and definitely noticed the double portion of veggies. The grilled onions had a good taste, however, they were really long and stringy, which reminded me of string spaghetti lol. Sandwich can get a little messy, prepare yourself with some napkins, and don't let it sit or it'll get soggy from the juices. My roommate thought his cheese steak was average, not bad but not the best he's ever had either. Pop's brownie was chocolatey and moist and a great way to end a flavorful lunch. The shack is located in a convenient spot and the lot has ample parking. Service was great. The woman helping us was friendly and even gave me a frequent buyer punch card since I told her it was my first time there. Fyi, Monday's are double punch days! I'm a cash-type of person anyway, but bring cash if you don't want to be charged $1 to use your card.
