Amazing, fast, and very friendly service! Breakfast was exceptional and there wasn't a crumb left.

Great experience! I stopped in for a Davsont (croissant donut) and I'm so glad they had a few left. I also bought a gluten free brownie to take home. The pastries are delicious and the staff are very nice!

They started lunch early just so i could try everything out! How cool is that? This place is really elegant and made me feel like i was in a big city with the service and quality of the pastries coming from the families grandmother in the kitchen .

Bacon & bean soup with homemade buttered sourdough

You hope when you enter a new bakery that you get delighted about each and every goodie you see. Instead of a kid in a candy store, it's an after-work-Friday-mom with her mom, oogling the english muffins and the soup of the day. The bean and bacon soup with the sourdough roll hit the spot. Talked with the owner and she verified that all the magic was house-made. And that english muffin? It'll have to wait until the next time, but I'll be back. Dreams do come true.

Good soups! Good buttery crusty croissant dough. Only 4 stars because same items are consistently sold out, they should adjust quantities based on interest.

The panini's and soup were excellent- creative options that are different than the standard- Thai chicken and spicy cilantro chicken.

It feels like you somehow wandered into a slightly spooky Disney bayou attraction that also happens to serve brunch. Decorated to the nines and immersive, it is both a meal and an experience. We went for an early Sunday breakfast and were seated quickly. By the time we left around 9 there were still a handful of open tables, but I would guess reservations are smart from 9:30 on. I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

I stopped by **Izzy's Comfort Kitchen** recently after seeing quite a bit of buzz about it online…read more While there is a lot to like about this spot, my experience felt a bit like a "social media vs. reality" situation. **The Atmosphere & Service** The ambiance is inviting and cozy, though the restaurant itself is on the **smaller side**, so it can feel a bit tight during peak hours. That said, the **service was fantastic**. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were properly taken care of throughout the meal. **The Food** I ordered the **Peach Bourbon BBQ Burger**. I loved the concept--the sweetness of the peach really complemented the savory beef beautifully. However, the execution fell a little short. There were only **two slices of peach** on the entire burger, and it was significantly **lacking sauce**. Between the minimal toppings and the lack of BBQ sauce, the burger ended up being quite dry. The sides didn't quite help the moisture issue, either. The **fries were very thin and overcooked**, giving them a crunchy, dry texture that made the overall meal feel a bit parched. Izzy's is a solid spot with great people, but I can't help but feel it might be a bit **overhyped by social media**. The flavors are definitely there, but for the price and the reputation, I was hoping for a bit more generosity with the toppings and better execution on the sides. Worth a try if you're in CDA, but maybe ask for extra sauce on the side!

However every time we have Ben, we've had a really pleasant experience. First of all, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The servers are always very attentive. The managers even come by on occasion just to make sure that everything's okay. The prices are reasonable, they have a good kids menu and a good seniors menu. It's very casual and exactly what you would expect for the atmosphere at an Elmer's restaurant. The food is also usually pretty good, if not a little unimaginative or unoriginal. But this is a standard breakfast / lunch / dinner diner and you're going to get exactly what you expect at this location. It is a little awkward to get to off of appleway. But we've never had any issues here, and for an Elmer's this place gets five stars.

Come for the food, but stay for the hospitality!…read more We went on Mother's Day this past weekend and expected a crazy wait. To our surprise, we were seated almost immediately after my wife was given a rose! There's something about wood in restaurants and homes that just makes me feel so warm. You just can't beat this type of ambiance, and this Elmer's has a lot of unpainted wood! On to the food! My wife had the German pancake with fruits on it, her aunt had the Oregon trail steak, and I had a Reuben. The German pancake was unlike anything we've ever tasted. It was light like a crepe, but held its own shape like a traditional pancake. The fruits added a wonderful freshness to the plate. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned appropriately. Not much to say other than it was a good steak for the price! The Reuben was tasty. My only criticism throughout our entire experience at Elmer's was that I wish there was more thousand island on that sandwich. Now, I don't normally write reviews, but I found it incredibly important to draft one up for this restaurant for the staff's honestly. We forgot a pair a Ray Bans at our booth when we left the restaurant, and one of their workers came running after us waaaay into the parking lot to return them. Other people would just pocket it or put it in their lost and found. Not these employees. They will literally chase you down to return your personal belongings. Fantastic experience overall that could've used just a little more thousand island dressing

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this shop. It has a very warm and welcoming feel, with tall ceilings that make the space feel open and airy. When I first arrived it was quite busy, filled with families laughing and enjoying their time together, which created a lively and friendly environment. As someone who is more introverted, the crowd was a bit overwhelming at first, but it eventually cleared out and became a very comfortable place to relax. The staff were also incredibly kind. Since I had never tried a macaron before, I ordered a rose macaron to taste, and it was absolutely delicious. They also gave me a complimentary sample of their coffee, which was excellent. It was the house blend. And the bags they sell are very reasonably priced. The café is very well priced, with drinks ranging the $5-8 mark, and the foods ranging $3-8- and the quality of the food and drinks are quite rich in taste!
