As always, this place rocks. I've been coming here for quite a few years now and decided to change things up and go with the Bagel Florentine for the first time. Honestly, I'm not sure I'll ver order anything different in the future. Yes, it's that good. Paired with a fresh bowl of fruit it, was delish. My wife had a two egg breakfast which I'm told was outstanding as well. Service was super friendly as always. These guys make you feel likely family. If you've never been, you should go. If there is a line at the door, it's worth the wait.

My husband loves breakfast and is always in search of a good staple restaurant. This one certainly checked all the boxes. Great food, plentiful and friendly service! We all chose a different meal and nice size potions. The zucchini bread was amazing and the potatoes had so much flavor. I am a very staple, eggs over medium, person and they got it perfect. Yum!

I've been to Michael D's Eatery several times, and this time it definitely did not disappoint. I usually get the Biscuits and Gravy when I go there, but today I got the Two Eggs With Choice of Meat. For my choice of meat, I chose bacon. The food was delicious! It was my first time ordering this, and it's provided one of my new favorites. I also had a side of Zucchini Bread and a Fruit Cup side. The waiters and waitresses are always very kind and the food always comes out quickly (even when I'm there with a bunch of other people). It's also a very cute restaurant and I love it. I don't get the chance to go there often, but when I do it's a nice treat.

Went back after about 15 years to see if it was as good as childhood memories say. And it was! We got the hot chocolate, market spice tea, french toast, irish scrambler with biscuits and gravy, a side of bacon and a side of hollandaise. The spice tea was a bit too strong of cinnamon but everything else was SO GOOD. Not too sweet, not too salty. Will definitely be back!

Great breakfast menu and food. The vibes in here feel like a cozy cabin! Staff have an excellent sense of urgency, and our wait was only 15 min around 11am on a Friday morning. 10/10 would come back!

    Zucchini bread - YUM!

Solid breakfast spot on the eastern side of CDA. The portions were large and food was good (not great, but good). I loved their zucchini bread - very yummy! Husband ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy. He said the biscuit was top notch but the gravy was just ok - not a lot of sausage in it and a little watery but good flavor. The chicken fried steak was actually "meaty", if that's a thing. . Not used to actually tasting the meat in CFS because a lot of places you can only taste the breading because it's so thin. Cute old-mountain-diner vibe inside. We got there at 10:30 on a Thursday and were sat right away although there were a lot of full tables. Service was quick and efficient.

Arrived at 9:50a on a Saturday, waited outside, got to chatting and missed our name being called.. but got seated at 2 minutes after we questioned the delay at 10:45 (was sunny outside and Vantage Pointe had some music playing on the patio, had fun watching the children run around playing). The zucchini bread arrived within minutes of sitting down! Soft, hot and fluffy. A MUST GET MENU ITEM! The Saratoga (cream cheese chive eggs) was decadent in its' simplicity. 'Three eggs'?! The poor hen must of had gestational diabetes.. these eggs are huge! The Tri-Tip Beef Ortega is (almost) a fork and knife sammich, with a cheese to hatch chili ratio that is sure to stick to even a 13yr old's beard. I won't need to oil my mustache today. Service is FAST, whole meal was in front of us and finished in a fraction of the time we waited. Music selection was a pleasing mix of 1970s - 2010s stadium hits. A contender for best breakfast in CDA.. might need to try again

This was our favorite breakfast spot on our road trip. The service was friendly, food came quickly and everything was delicious. You have to get the homemade zucchini bread and spread some butter on it. So good.

It feels like you somehow wandered into a slightly spooky Disney bayou attraction that also happens to serve brunch. Decorated to the nines and immersive, it is both a meal and an experience. We went for an early Sunday breakfast and were seated quickly. By the time we left around 9 there were still a handful of open tables, but I would guess reservations are smart from 9:30 on. I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

I stopped by **Izzy's Comfort Kitchen** recently after seeing quite a bit of buzz about it online…read more While there is a lot to like about this spot, my experience felt a bit like a "social media vs. reality" situation. **The Atmosphere & Service** The ambiance is inviting and cozy, though the restaurant itself is on the **smaller side**, so it can feel a bit tight during peak hours. That said, the **service was fantastic**. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were properly taken care of throughout the meal. **The Food** I ordered the **Peach Bourbon BBQ Burger**. I loved the concept--the sweetness of the peach really complemented the savory beef beautifully. However, the execution fell a little short. There were only **two slices of peach** on the entire burger, and it was significantly **lacking sauce**. Between the minimal toppings and the lack of BBQ sauce, the burger ended up being quite dry. The sides didn't quite help the moisture issue, either. The **fries were very thin and overcooked**, giving them a crunchy, dry texture that made the overall meal feel a bit parched. Izzy's is a solid spot with great people, but I can't help but feel it might be a bit **overhyped by social media**. The flavors are definitely there, but for the price and the reputation, I was hoping for a bit more generosity with the toppings and better execution on the sides. Worth a try if you're in CDA, but maybe ask for extra sauce on the side!

However every time we have Ben, we've had a really pleasant experience. First of all, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The servers are always very attentive. The managers even come by on occasion just to make sure that everything's okay. The prices are reasonable, they have a good kids menu and a good seniors menu. It's very casual and exactly what you would expect for the atmosphere at an Elmer's restaurant. The food is also usually pretty good, if not a little unimaginative or unoriginal. But this is a standard breakfast / lunch / dinner diner and you're going to get exactly what you expect at this location. It is a little awkward to get to off of appleway. To our surprise, we were seated almost immediately after my wife was given a rose! There's something about wood in restaurants and homes that just makes me feel so warm. You just can't beat this type of ambiance, and this Elmer's has a lot of unpainted wood! On to the food! My wife had the German pancake with fruits on it, her aunt had the Oregon trail steak, and I had a Reuben. The German pancake was unlike anything we've ever tasted. It was light like a crepe, but held its own shape like a traditional pancake. The fruits added a wonderful freshness to the plate. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned appropriately. Not much to say other than it was a good steak for the price! The Reuben was tasty. My only criticism throughout our entire experience at Elmer's was that I wish there was more thousand island on that sandwich. Now, I don't normally write reviews, but I found it incredibly important to draft one up for this restaurant for the staff's honestly. We forgot a pair a Ray Bans at our booth when we left the restaurant, and one of their workers came running after us waaaay into the parking lot to return them. Other people would just pocket it or put it in their lost and found. Not these employees. They will literally chase you down to return your personal belongings. Fantastic experience overall that could've used just a little more thousand island dressing
