They ran out!!! But they had just opened this location and didn't know what to expect.

New location that's on my way home. The best part is they have a doughnut shop integrated. Love it! Coffee great 2!

I took my FIL here and he couldn't stop RAVING about how amazing the quiche was. Flaky, tasty, perfection. At one point stated "this is 5 star restaurant quality" The service was good. I don't know if he was the owner or manager but he was so polite and brought the quiche right out and was helpful in getting utensils, napkins etc. the girls working were friendly as well. They also have their own packaged coffee as well as canned coffee. this is where I'll be taking my family and friends that are coffee drinkers.

I like this place I reallllllyyy do. Everyone who works there is usually really nice the coffee is really good and the scones are incredible. I just cannot figure out why they don't put sleeves on their hot coffees. Every time we order a hot coffee they hand it to us. It's scorching hot and we ask for a sleeve. Went there the other day and it was 5x hotter than usual we asked for and waited for a sleeve but the coffe was far to hot and unfortunately dropped the hot coffee in the car and got burns. I know certain people would make a huge deal about this yell at the employee & probably try to make a quick buck. The sleeves on hot coffee should probably be mandatory so the wrong person doesn't drop their coffee.

Union is one of the locations in town that frequently comes up with locals as one of the best brewed cups of coffee. I wouldn't call the baristas friendly, but most of them know what they're doing and I'd honestly rather have that. A simple americano or cortado is the way to go to get all the flavors, but they have lots of tasty seasonal lattes as well if that's your thing. Decor is current and bright, lots of windows and seating with plug ins if you're there to work/study. This is one of our top stops!

As good as any coffee shop I've patronized in Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Los Angeles, etc. Love the coffees, the employees, the pastries, but most of all, the immaculate design and cleanliness. I drive from Spokane just to grade papers here. Also love the open a garage door to get some fresh air.

Amazing coffee. Bought some beans on the way through town. Love that they give me a free cup when I buy beans. Not everyone does that and it's really appreciated.

It feels very open with a long wooden table in the center and tables on the side wall and by the window with a few couches at that end. Turmeric chai was bomb! Lightly sweet with a light turmeric ginger flavor. And best of all it was caffeine free!! So great anytime of day or for those sensitive to caffeine like me. 8oz was $6 so that is steep for the smallest size but it was good enough I'd come back for it when in the area again. They are known for there hand pies so had to try one of those! I got the mixed berry since they were out of there most popular huckNberry and it was good, pretty sweet for me in the morning so wish I had tried a savory one but had good flavor and flaky crust. I bet the chicken pot pie one is really good in that crust. My friend got a seasonal Latte with pecan I believe and liked it a lot. Coffee forward which put the spotlight on the flavor / quality of the beans which she liked a lot. Anywho I'd stop by again

This locally owned shop on Sherman in downtown Coeur d'Alene has a very minimalist concept: a small storefront, a limited selection of donuts and coffee on display, and no seating. The proprietor was friendly, informative, and clearly passionate about the product. The donuts come with the premium pricing one would expect from a small artisan bakery, but unfortunately they did not live up to expectations. The flavours themselves were good, but the donuts were noticeably drier than expected even when fresh, and by the next day they were virtually inedible despite being stored properly. Usually small artisan shops justify the higher price point with a clearly superior product and experience. Unfortunately, Lantern Donuts did not quite achieve that for me and, regrettably, I found the mass-produced chain-store donuts more enjoyable overall. On a personal "worth it" scale, I'd place it around a 3/10. Regrettably, not somewhere I would return to.

It has a very nice shop inside where the smell of coffee is strong from grinding their own beans in house. I loved it and the vibe instantly. It has an old time feel which I love. The server was super nice and helpful in answering my wife and I's questions. I love that they serve lunch. I had a delicious tortilla soup while my wife enjoyed a panini, also delicious. My wife enjoyed a chocolate espresso, different ingredients than a mocha, while I enjoyed a chai latte. Both great and served very hot in a mug. Speaking of hot, the day was only mid 60's, but due to the many windows, which does bring beauty and good light into the shop, it was quite hot and stuffy inside, yet too cool to eat outside. I can't imagine how it feels on a hot day. The barista said the AC was on, but we couldn't feel it. They need to invest in some of those large ceiling fans Placed throughout the shop.
