Stopped by here with a big group on a Saturday morning after we tried to make drip coffee at home and it was just a let's go get coffee morning. The coffee was delish. Wonderful flavor would go back again. I'd give this 4.5 just because we also got a chai tea that tasted really watered down. It wasn't drinkable. Had we tried before we left I'm sure they'd have made it again but we were already back at the house we rented and didn't want to leave again. If you're in the area. Try it. What an absolutely AMAZING coffee shop!!! We were visiting Sandpoint from California to ski and were so lucky to be staying next to an Evan's brothers coffee. We ordered the seasonal butter bee latte and oh my god that was THE BEST latte I've ever had. The coffee shop inside was so cute and cozy. The baristas were very friendly and artists of their craft! I was so impressed with the latte art!! I tried the iced version of the latte one day and I can't decide which one I liked better, both so delicious!! We also tried the coffee cake and wow, so decadent and delicious. We made this a daily stop during our trip and are so sad there's not one close to us at home. 10/10 experiences and lattes!!! read more

We parked in an unmarked space in a huge parking lot next to the outdoor patio (I think this was fine as other cars followed suit). We got in a short line but ordering took us a bit longer than the people behind us liked (sorry!). All of their syrups are made via a partner company and they roast their own beans. We were happy to find that their large gets 4 shots while their small and medium get two. We had several different drinks and they were all PERFECT!!! Their drinks aren't over-sweetened, their espresso is smooth. We especially liked the caramel latte. I loved the ham breakfast burrito with the cholula packets and blackberry latte. read more

We discovered Evan's brother's coffee through a recommendation for a waitress in Sandpoint. The light roast Coffee was good but the dark roast was quite bitter. My wife had a latte and she liked it a lot. The breakfast sandwich was an English muffin with egg cheese and ham. Nothing special but not terrible. I would normally give the shop a 3 star rating but I discovered they are working with Planned Parenthood and the Bonner County democrats on a transvestite movie. They were listed on the flyer as the only business supporting the movie TansAmerica. Super disappointed to discover this. Not a value choice I want to support. We will not return. read more

A stop at Evans Brothers is always at the top of our must-do list when visiting Sandpoint. They're located real close to downtown and right off the main bike path. Their coffee shop is quaint and has plenty of seating. In the warmer months they have a large garage door they open up and have a nice patio to sit out on and enjoy your beverage. Their coffee is some of the best I've had. Regularly they're nominated for and win local awards. My favorite is their cortado. They have a seasonal beverage menu so there's always something new to try. In addition to serving up excellent coffee Evans Brothers is actively engaged in the community and regularly gives back by sponsoring local events and wildlife preserves. UNSANITARY RESULTED IN BE The experience had at the Sandpoint Evans Brothers' location was disheartening. As a conscious consumer, I take pride in whom I choose to expand energy, funds, and effort because I believe life is too precious to waste on unauthentic events. With that said when it came to my attention that we had an Evans Bro. here in Sandpoint open shortly after the matrix holidays, I was ecstatic to have a place to socialize outside the house with my family. Upon arrival, all five of us took a moment to look over the menu after placing our orders is when the lack of customer service showed itself more prominently. Firstly, garbage is hanging out right under the counter where customers receive their drinks and naturally where all clientele goes to dump their used materials. As I approached the counter another customer sneezed right by my (uncovered beverage) while standing near the pickup counter so that she had access to the receptacle. Here I move on to grab a few drinks to be met with a dirty to-go cup and the other one lukewarm. Already, disappointed I decided to push forward. And then I took notice that everyone (and as you are aware the shop itself is small so you can see a great deal) except my family had to-go cups (one of them being dirty) while everyone else had mugs. While we were at the cash wrap we were never asked if we preferred an actual coffee shop mug even though we had shared we would be sitting in the store. There was a difference in treatment between those whom the employees, were used to seeing daily versus those who came in less frequently (and for me, it was my first time there). Shortly after I became severely sick after having my beverage and had to leave. I notified the staff and allowed them to rectify the situation when I had the drink dumped out. I spent the next day and a half sick and concerned that there was a lack of cleanliness when my drink was prepared. I would like to think that this was a one-time ordeal but I've noticed the same careless behavior and overall insufficiency in customer care at the Evans Brothers in CdA. The employees are either dissatisfied with their job and it reflects in their skills or they are half-heartedly involved with what it is that their doing. Either way, it reflects a local establishment in a negative light. Not only was this a nauseating situation to have encountered but to know these are the energies that Evans Bro. is allowing to operate in their local business is truly sad. Even though the aesthetics were lovely I am not sure anyone could convince me to come back. I just hope for other people's sake that the management team will update staff (and continue) on educating those on how to practice professionalism, basic principles of how to keep clean and genuine interest in maintaining their job. *As of recent the management team has reached out with a statement on intent to update the staff on how they present themselves as well as taking a few steps towards creating a more sustainable way for customers and employees alike to be sanitary. Management has stated that they have made a refund (this has not happened yet) but it was said as an intent to open up the floor towards redemption of previous experience including the supervisor asking if there is anything else I would like to discuss he is open minded in doing so. This place sort of rocked my world. They have multiple locations but the one in Sandpoint is their original roasters. The people were so nice and laid back. There was a lot of fun seating and it was very lively! They also had a decent amount of seating outside, Super clean. Nice and open seating area. They had some food options but not many; couple burritos, pastries, a breakfast sandwich is what I saw. I had their breakfast sandwich, wasn't super filling, but with the latte I was fine! Lots of drinks available and many of them are made with their homemade syrups! They seem to have new, exciting specialties all the time! I love when coffee shops show off fun creations. I loved the oat milk latte I had! Very tasty and the perfectly steamed milk. My friends loved their drinks, too! No complaints at all. A couple notes: Dogs are welcome! I love Vivace in Seattle and you can tell that these guys were influenced by their time working with David- their coffee is lovely! I wasn't floored by their 'house' espresso blend; it was good but not the highlight. The highlight was their featured single origin, which happened to be Guatemala during our visits. For a dark roast, they worked magic and it was smooth and full of flavor! I would have no doubt their other S.O. Offerings would be just as good. We visited 3 days in a row to start our day and shall we ever come back or through again, we will definitely be stopping by (and you should too!) Oh! I arrived earlier than our appointed time & had the good fortune to wander back into the equipment end of the business where I met Randy, one of the Evans Bros as they were installing a new afterburner. And I have a photo of Randy with the new afterburner in the background. My friends arrived, we enjoyed a hot cup of Evans Bros coffee & each others company & conversation. I left with a # of Schweitzer Mtn Blend & a stainless steel coffee cup + I've since ordered a # of coffee online for a friend in Phoenix, AZ. I will be ordering coffee, online, from Evans Bros in the future. This is definitely a place I highly recommend. They even have WiFi internet access & tables inside where a person can enjoy their coffee while browsing the internet. read more
