Stellar stop and a FANTASTIC place for Vegans The inside is cheery and seating is plentiful. We came in on the 4th on July - right after the downtown parade - and we STILL got a table despite the crowds & popularity The inside of the establishment was light & bright due to large windows, a cheery environment whose positivity extended to the greenery filled outdoor space. Staff was very friendly and with 2 options of ordering -- between at-counter ordering with a staff member + online tablet ordering -- you don't have to worry about waiting long to order. The menu is extensive, providing everything from (several options of) acai/dragon fruit bowls, fruit & vegan protein powder smoothies, and savory dishes such as avocado toast and two kinds of VEGAN breakfast sandwiches The food & drinks came out FAST; their espresso was great and was served on a charming bamboo board with a glass of (lemon?) sparkling water which was a great touch. I had their chocolate & peanut butter protein shake and it was delicious. My sister got an avocado/mango/banana/granola/chia seed bowl which was gone in all of 5 minutes. Great great experience all around, especially if you are healthy or also Vegan. Could not recommend more! read more

Heart Bowls - Breakfast Sandwich - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Sandpoint, Idaho

First time at Heart Bowls and it was quite the surprised to find a fully vegan restaurant in Sandpoint. There's breakfast sandwiches, loaded toast, açaí/smoothie/or protein bowls, rice bowls, salads, n'ice cream, mylkshakes, a wide variety of baked goods, and of course coffee. I got a breakfast sandwich that had Just Egg, cheese, beyond sausage, tomato, and spinach on an english muffin. It was tasty and would get again. All their smoothies looked amazing, so I had to try the Island Vibes smoothie. It contained pineapple, strawberries, coconut milk & apple juice. So refreshing. I can see why this one is a customer favorite. While I was there I had to grab one of their baked goods to take home, so I settled on the lemon and raspberry poppyseed cupcake. It was good, but I wished it had a stronger lemon flavor to pair with the raspberry frosting. The service was friendly, prompt, and they love dogs. We had a pup with us and they quickly refreshed the water bowl and asked if they could give his noggin a tussle. Overall a great experience and I'll happily stop here again next time I'm in town. read more

I ate here back when they were a food truck! I find it really convenient to meet a friend here or place a to go order online. My favorite dishes are their Asian rice bowl, their smoothies (my kiddo craves the island vibes one) and their rose latte created an addiction for me! I also like their smoothie bowls and they will accommodate any food allergy they can. They've also made mishaps right for me when it's been their mistake with an order and given me an item free next time which I appreciate a lot. I've always had good service here. read more

Such amazing food, whether you're vegan or not, there's always something delicious here! The service is always top notch and the atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a bite, inside or outside the pretty courtyard. Located in the center of town so if you're in Sandpoint- don't skip it! read more

Ew nothing redeeming here, I got my review removed because I guess my opinion doesn't count because I'm a minority? Yelp pushes racist agendas is pretty ridiculous. Anyway this place is overpriced for the value. Food tasted bland. Make a bowl at home for cheaper. read more

Beautifully decorated with bright colors and warm atmosphere. There are so many options to chose from with their smoothie bowls. I ended up getting the mango bowl and they are big! I got a medium which was the perfect size to share. This place can get busy and I can see why, they have such healthy options and a lovely well shaded outdoor space for sitting. read more

Good people. Good energy. INCREDIBLE food! We headed to another restaurant and it was closed! Stopped a guy on the street who pointed us to Heart Bowls, thank you Universe!!! Hard to choose - there were so many options! Had the southwest bowl - it had a great variety of fresh veggies & was filling.

The owner is soooo nice! I like the rice bowls and my husband likes the pbj smoothie bowl. It's reasonably priced and the establishment is so cute. You really can't go wrong here. read more

It's a Local Favorite for Good Reason. I absolutely love going to Heart Bowls for an occasional Iced Chai latte and a protein ball, or even the avocado toast (which is exceptionally delicious!) The staff here is wonderful and owner Katie makes sure to bring in the best staff for this incredible environment! I may not spell their names correctly, but Macy, Lindsey and Whitney are often there when I stop in for my favorite beverage, and they always have the most genuinely friendly smiles, they are always kind and helpful, and they make sure to exceed my expectations. The menu is loaded with mouthwatering options that are incredibly health-focused. The atmosphere is delightful inside and the courtyard is quaint and quite beautiful! There are numerous reasons why Heart Bowls is so popular in Sandpoint! Katie really knew what she was doing with this place! Stop in for one of their many scrumptious smoothies and beverages, or try a rice bowl or any of the other great meals! You'll thank yourself for making such a smart choice! read more

A strange business practice to force gratuity on a breakfast sandwich that is already unreasonably expensive for what it is.

THIS PLACE WAS SOOO GOOODDD !!! They did mess up my order but it was sooo good. I want to go again so badly.

I really enjoyed the fresh ingredients and delicious creations. Won't be returning after paying a mandatory 20% gratuity on your order. I cannot think of a more arrogant and unnecessary business practice. I know it's not the workers(which are professional and kind), and didn't take out the frustration on them. I tip well, and certainly more than 20% at times, BASED ON SERVICE, which all tips and/or gratuity should be. Wouldn't be surprised if the wait-staff didn't get all or most of the tips that are mandatory at this establishment. read more

I'm not sure what prompted the "anti-American" complaint. As an American, I felt very welcome and was treated with respect. Not only are all the options at this fantastic little food truck, but the staff are friendly and fast. We went twice over our three-day visit to Sandpoint. Once, we pre-ordered, and it was ready right on time! I love the Tropical Green smoothie and the basic avocado toast abs just stuck with that. S. loved all he tried: the chunky monkey, the Island Vibes, and the Berry Power smoothie. This is definitely worth a stop for some healthy and delicious food! read more

What a delicious surprise! I was passing through Sandpoint early one morning and came across Heart Bowls when I was looking for a cup of coffee and maybe a bit to eat. The window-lined shop is light and bright. The folks behind the counter were friendly and fast. I had a beautifully prepared peppermint mocha along with their loaded avocado toast. As I was taking my first bite of those microgreens and balsamic reduction a local walked in with a load of fresh greens (the same ones that were on my toast!) I lingered awhile to do some work (and this review) and locals were in and out. Glad to see it since businesses like these are great for the community's they serve in terms of healthy options and job opportunities. Check 'em out! read more

Delicious açaí bowls and smoothies! Our favorite is the chunky monkey bowl! The outdoor seating is also a big plus in the warmer months.

The bowl was good, but the values of the company shouldn't be so integrated into the food. Why can't we have açaí bowls without politics? Service seemed fine, but when I asked if they had any honey, they said they don't offer it. Isn't honey a core part of any açaí bowl for many people? I also felt as though I was treated less than for being male since the company is so directed towards women. The setting was okay, but it felt a little cramped. Overall, I probably wouldn't try it again. Also they serve plastic bowls, with wooden spoons? How does that make any sense. TL;DR : Good açaí, questionable values, service, and options. read more

Transplant from Seattle and this is the crap I don't miss. I'm a vegetarian Bernie Sanders loving hippy. But you know what I don't love? Bait and switch. You cannot advertise prices and then have a 20% gratuity mandatory. Talk about entitlement. Doesn't matter the level of service provided, instead of YOU paying a livable wage with correct advertised prices, you choose to make it an entitlement. You know as well as I do with prices like $6 for avocado toast (or$10 for a freaking breakfast sandwich), no one would stop in if they knew it was really $7.20+tax 8or $12). Get out of town with those prices. We don't need this place turning into another Vail. You got me once, shame on you. Won't be recommending this place to any of my vegan/vegetarian friends. read more

I like having a healthy juice/smoothie place to go to when we're traveling but the few times we've been here the smoothies and açaí bowls were not very tasty for the price. Also, the atmosphere and attitude of the workers we had waiting on us were not friendly and welcoming. So the second time trying it we decided we'd just go over to City Organics instead. read more

This place is a must when looking for a fresh, healthy alternative. When I visit Sandpoint every summer it's my go-to spot. Very pleasant employees and usually great service. They started as a food truck with usually 2-3 employees and now are brick and mortar with about 6 employees in a prime location. The major change, however, is a 20% gratuity tax that's forced to be paid by the customers. I realize the location likely costs a lot more, but this isn't the way to promote love to your loyal clients. A gratuity is usually the reward for great service and great food...and the employees "thrive" when they are paid a living-wage by the owner. A fair wage without guilt-taxing is a lovely sentiment. Just raise the prices if you have to, but 20% + 6% state taxes is 26% uptick on every purchase! This will push me towards City Beach Organics or Yafay Bistro. Lots of other healthy organic choices in town now. read more

Fresh, delicious, lived up to the hype. We ordered three bowls and they were huge. we came later in the day and they were out of overnight oats, but they included more of the smoothie base and was still filling. I appreciated that this was not overly sweet and they no added sweetners were added. This made for a very clean bowl with lots of fresh flavor read more

LOVED this food truck! I had their "soup of the day" which was a southwest quinoa and it was so delicious I bought another bowl of it to take to my mom. If you want a really healthy (all plant-based, dairy-free, gluten-free) breakfast or lunch this place is hard to beat. Awesome bowls and smoothies, soup, and treats. Very friendly service, everything made fresh when you order it (so be patient!), and the food is as delicious as it is beautiful. I can't believe I forgot to take photos but I will definitely be going back so I'll update this review with photos soon. read more

Well, I assumed the smoothies would be similar to the killer smoothies I happen to make in my own kitchen. However, much to my delight they were waaaayyyy better!! Worth the $$. I wanted to love it, I really did but sadly I got food poisoning and I'm afraid to give it another try.

Visit every time I am in the area, about once a year, and look forward to it every time. Açaí bowls are HUGE! Got a medium and it was more than enough for my husband and I to share. Also tried a peanut butter bar that was divine, I'm still thinking about it! read more

I recently returned from a month staying on Oahu, where I thought would be the climax of my smoothie bowl experience. Little did I know that in (of all places) Sandpoint Idaho, I would find a bowl that not only is just as good, but even better than bowls I had in Hawaii. I ordered the Açaí bowl and there was banana, mango, granola, pineapple and honey on top, as well as a thorough layer of granola on the bottom. This place is incredible! It is in a pod of other really good food trucks and has something for everyone! read more

Fresh and delicious. The Asian fusion rice bowl and the Southwest bowl are terrific. The large size is a fair portion for the price.

Have to say the açaí bowls we got were delicious!!! But it's a food truck why get political with blm written on the window. I don't support the movement and hence I will not support this business in the future. Sorry but just make food with out the politics. Please!! read more

Yay! A place in Sandpoint that isn't bbq and does healthy food extremely well!! Today I had the açaí bowl and it was outstanding. The toppings were varied and delicious and unique. My favorite was the chia pudding. My kids and I devoured it at City Beach and loved every spoonful. And please ignore the other reviews from people who can't read and base their food choices on other people's political or ethical views. I was very excited about having a vegan option, and to be fair Im sure their food is good, however....our first time in we walked in and waited, we were completely acknowledged for several minutes with no one else around. Then we noticed a sign stating that "a 20% gratuity will be applied so our team can survive". your menu prices are how you "survive" gratuity is a choice based on the customers satisfaction and generosity. I normally tip 25% but instead I walked out and went to Joel's for breakfast. read more

They have amazing costumer service. very kinda and patient! I love them so much their acia bowls are bussin

Ordered an açaí bowl and a nice cream. The açaí bowl ranks high up there with the best we've had on Oahu at a legit Brazilian food truck. In fact, it's better than any açaí bowl we've had in big cities like Seattle and LA. Super proud of this little food truck in Sandpoint for getting it right! Not too sweet, very refreshing and healthy. The chocolate nice cream was also oh so creamy in consistency and chocolaty in flavor. As we were leaving with our goods, a local told us we needed to try the smoothies next so that is what we will order next. read more
