OOOOOH MYYYYY!! There's some seriously good pie! And their sandwiches!! And the soup!! Just divinely delectable -- ALL of it! There was beet soup .. so, so good. The Salmon Delight was INDEED delightful. Our server was super helpful with suggestions and very accommodating. The restaurant was busy and caters to families and singles alike. We enjoyed eating our meal and packing a variety of pies to go. read more

A very long, food-binging midday found me here for a slice of pie. Suddenly, I felt the fear that Sergeant Howie must have had, realizing he was in the midst of a homicidal, queen-bee cult---and was being prepared to burn in the belly of the Wicker Man. Seriously, this joint is definitely run by a stylish, attractive, and confident bunch of ladies, and I wasn't about to utter a phrase any more brash than, 'Yes, Ma'am.' One of them even talked me into ordering Pumpkin Chili. Say that out loud. Insert eerie music right......here/now. read more

Probably the best pies you will ever taste are inside. The crème brûlée, chocolate, and chocolate peanut butter are our family's favourites. The served here sandwiches are both delicious and inventive. The Turkey cranberry, pork belly, and Monte Cristo are a must tries. Our family eats our pie first otherwise with the size of the sandwiches we might not get any. My kids absolutely love the chicken pot pie and you can get family sized ones to take home and bake. We have eaten here regularly when in Sandpoint for years and we've never had anything but great experiences at Heathers Pie Hut. read more

The food at The Pie Hut is excellent! Jill our server was wonderful. The soups are incredible, the sandwiches are amazing! The Báhn Mì is one of our all time favorite sandwiches! But the pie is to die for! Heather makes the very best pies in the world. They would win all pie contests hands down! Her soups and chilis would also win contest! It's another Sandpoint, Idaho; GEM! read more

We were at the antique store next door. We were going to have lunch & pie here but there was no room at the inn so we decided to get a piece of German chocolate pie to go. They were very busy so it took a while. They were other people buying pies to go as well. Cute little place. Very hometown. They pie was so good, not too sweet and the crust was perfectly flaky. A great stop. read more

I've been going here since I was born in 2004. One of the best restaurants in the city.

Great homemade food. Pumpkin chili and Ginger Carrot Bisque were excellent. Wonderful sandwiches & salad is extremely fresh & crisp. We'll definitely be back! read more

I didn't even know about The Pie Hut until I was discussing with a coworker that I was planning a trip to Sandpoint, Idaho. She strongly recommended to get a piece a pie when visiting town and to get the Coconut Cream Pie if possible and if I liked that sort of thing. I do and when I made a visit to town which overall is very walkable I swung by to get a slice. The place was very busy and very popular! I ordered my Coconut Cream Pie slice and enjoyed it immensely! Service was super friendly and prompt despite it being busy. The pie was wonderful and lived up to it's name perfectly. The crust at the bottom was excellent too! I could have easily have had another but restrained myself from doing so. You can get pie by the slices or whole pies but be mindful that to pay it's cash only. read more

We just had lunch at The Pie Hut today. First time for us. Quiche, cup of clam chowder and a piece of huckleberry pie, that we split between the two of us. Everything was excellent, and very friendly staff. It is a certifiable hole in the wall, but wow it's good! We'll be back as there are many more items on the menu that we want to try. read more

This was supposed to be a midday snack but it filled us up during a busy day. We liked the cozy dining area, and everyone was really friendly. The people who work here, and the locals coming in, all definitely seemed to know each other. We liked the soups we ordered, but their pies were delicious. The three of us fought over the Creme Brule one. That's not a surprise when they're called the Pie Hut lol. We wound up eating dinner far later in the evening, because this filled us up nicely. read more

Food was delicious. We both opted for the half sandwich, cup of soup and slice of pie combo. It was a ton of food, all very tasty. The place was crowded but the servers remained friendly and helpful. We are going to have to come back until we have tried all the pies. Next up, exercise! read more

Wouldn't be able to review the pie because every time I come on a Saturday they are closed. No notice, no note on the door. Last time I drive from Spokane to try it. read more

If you're anywhere near Sandpoint, do not miss the Pie Hut! The team was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. We ordered the lemon sour cream pie and the cherry crumble, and both were absolutely to die for. The lemon was perfectly tart and creamy, and the cherry crumble had the most amazing buttery crust and rich, sweet filling. You can tell everything is made with love. We're already dreaming about our next visit -- truly a hidden gem! read more

Excellent caring service. As every year that I visit Sandpoint I go get a 1/2 sandwich and soup and always leave feeling so lucky that the Pie Hut is still going strong. Super cool!!! Attached to an antique/consignment shop in Sand Point. There's a modest food menu and a ton of choices for Pie!!! Afterall, it's in the name. I had the Huckleberry a la Mode and the wife had peanut butter and chocolate.... BAM!!!! #Gysot Delicious to say the least... The owner was also our server I believe and she was a charmer. Charismatic, energetic and all about excellence. I'd certainly recommend and will return when next in town. read more

Oh my heart, be still. This is my favorite place in town. Just a small, home-y little joint that has the best pie and the best service in town. Everyone is so genuine and kind here and it's sandpoint's hidden gem in my opinion. It is cash only so be prepared and tip well because this is the only place in town that I've found real connection and open-ness with the service. Love love love. read more

I can't say one negative thing about this place! They've got extremely high-quality pies and very good food.

Amazing options for lunch and pie! Very friendly owner who deserves awesome customers. The pies are fresh made every day, and the restaurant has a friendly homey feel. Catholic owned so we're big fans. read more

A friend just took me here earlier this week. I tried 3 different sandwiches, all delicious. My favorite was the jalapeño popper sandwich, the pastrami sandwich was great too. Then there was the soup . . it was some kind of beef soup, can't remember what it was called . . as good as the sandwiches! Finally there was the pie. Had a sophopia (sp?) pie and also got a strawberry rhubarb pie to go. Dangerously good! Friendly people and great service! read more

Sandwiches and soup are amazing. And the staff are friendly. Awesome ambiance. Great place for foodies

This is my favorite place to eat in Northern Idaho, it's cozy and quaint and decorated with local art. But the food here is phenomenal, I have never had a bad meal here over the years. Which stretches over a period of 10+ years. I usual go for the Huckleberry Monte Cristo which is like eating lunch and dessert in one sandwich. Both savory and sweet it is absolutely delicious. I don't know if they still make it but they also had at one point a Beef stroganoff soup, I love stroganoff and the soup was amazing! Hopefully they still do and the next time your in or I'm in I'll have the luck of ordering it. On to the pie, after your meal you have this amazing pie counter that has no less than 20 options it seems all homemade and baked fresh. This may be your biggest and toughest decision here. I won't try to steer you in any direction, your just going to have to come in and get some yourself. Thank you Heather and the Pie Hut staff you're always so warm and welcoming, I look forward to coming again! read more

Unfortunately after standing in front of the register/ pie case for almost 10 minutes and no one acknowledging me- I left. It was not busy. There were a few(3)people who obviously worked there walking around to the few tables(2 were being used) and doing idk what. I miss Panhandler. They were always great with customer service. I won't try the pie hut again. It's been the same experience every time I've gone there. I guess since I just want a pie to bring home I'm not spending enough. They are not cheap either. I'll go to Millers. It's a drive instead of a 5 minute walk but worth being acknowledged and actually getting a pie or other dessert that I know tastes good read more

This little place is so cute. Wonderful homemade food and atmosphere. Excellent assortment of homemade pies.

If you like pie, this is the only place to go in the area. What it has going for it: - great variety of pies - pricing on par with similar establishments - owner is wonderful - pies taste very fresh What it has going against it: - during holidays you need to order early - parking lot can be challenging - cash only So this small little bakery puts out some great product. At any one time there are as many as 20 or so varieties of pies available by the whole pie or by the slice....even huckleberry. They also serve lunch but I haven't tried their lunch items yet. They normally don't make sugar-free pies but can if you order ahead. Every type of pie I have tried there I have enjoyed. The pies are baked to perfection and are always fresh since this is a pretty busy shop so pies are sitting Aaron for very long. Would I come here again....definitely! read more

We were told to come here for lunch that it was the best around. I have to say I was not very impressed by the sandwich I ordered. Then I got my pie,... I was getting banana cream pie my favorite!! One bite, and it made me gag it was made out of Jell-O pudding and absolutely not one banana bite in it. I asked the woman and she said we don't use bananas????&$&!! It was banana flavored only. She was nice about it and said she would get me something else so she brought me a different piece of pie. I had such a bad taste in my mouth from the banana pudding I could hardly eat my pie. Really not very good. read more

Our friends told us about the Pie Hut and how good the pies were. So we drove to Sandpoint from Coeur d'Alene to try it out and it was definitely as good as we were told if not better. We had the French Dip with Beef Stroganoff soup and the chicken pot pie with the minestrone soup. All was outstanding. We finished with a slice of cherry pie and banana cream. Heather is definitely a master pie baker because both were fantastic. We ended up buying an apple and cherry pie to take home. Great place with great friendly service and the best part, the pies. A for sure place to eat when in Sandpoint. read more

Great selection of pies. My husband loves cherry pie and he loved the cherry pie from The Pie Hut!

Pie is not sweet and not much flavor. Not very friendly and only accept cash. You think it would be better seeing that's all they sell. The best pies I've found in this town are from the Safeway bakery, but not without a warning there too. read more
