I stopped in on this hot day for an ice cream and the huckleberry version hit the spot perfectly. Other patrons had sandwiches and they looked very good. We absolutely HIGHLY recommend The Clark Fork Pantry!!!! All fresh made pastries and breads. Lots of organic grocery supplies, too. Not only do we stop in there twice per week (at least) to get pastries or ice cream cones, or breakfast burritos, but we buy pastries as gifts for friends and family. We have shipped their sweet breads to family out of state more than once. Our favorites are the huckleberry cinnamon rolls, the lemon blueberry bread, the apple cinnamon rolls, the orange walnut bread. Oh! And don't forget their huckleberry chocolate bars!! Their huckleberry ice cream on a waffle cone won't be forgotten...it won't make it home, except inside your tummy. Their most busy time is lunch time for the longest wait; otherwise, they are pretty quick. They also have an amazing selection of spices there. I just bought a tub of ground turmeric. Very friendly service with a helpful attitude! The sandwich I had was delicious and it was so difficult to decide what bread I wanted. They have a nice selection of spices, base ingredients and of course sweet treats! I treated myself to one oatmeal raisin cookie and it was spectacular!! I picked up a huckleberry cheese danish. My mistake is that I didn't try it before I left. If I did I would of left with half the store. It was great! The second time I came to this place it was later in the day on Saturday and they were pretty much cleaned out. So I had to settle on huckleberry crumb cake, a loaf of fresh sourdough bread and some olive and garlic rolls. Well the olive rolls didn't make it home and the huckleberry crumb cake was devoured the next morning by the family. So it is safe to say we would definitely come back here again. read more

Lots of bulk snacks and cooking supplies (very reasonably priced) that have been measured out in to-go containers. Wheat Montana goods, local honey, U-bake pizza as well as ready to eat by the slice, soft serve ice cream, excellent meat and cheese counter sliced to order, etc. The best part? The baked goods.
