WOW! Not only is the service amazing (thanks, Sarah!) but this place is a gluten-free wonderland! My husband is GF and he could pick ANYTHING (except maybe one dessert) off the menu instead of the maybe 2 things he can choose from at other restaurants. This was a fun place for a Friday night family dinner. Festive atmosphere, loved that they had board games available to play, and again, great food and service! We even did a blind taste test with the regular and GF mozzarella sticks...and they were both great and no one could really tell the difference! (Except the non GF ones were a bit wider around.) Super impressed and plan on returning! read more

The vibes in here are stranger than any tavern I've ever been to. Silence, no music, all tvs playing the Roku home screen muted, the walls and floor are gray and bare, the layout makes its feel so empty, and the lighting was so odd. We had a large group and the staff was very accommodating which we appreciate! They also have a fantastic gluten free menu and dedicated gluten free fryer. This was great to see! I didn't try the GF food, but my GF sibling said it was good. Food otherwise was nothing special. Really, really appreciate the GF menu and the hospitality, but they really need to do something about the ambiance in there. read more

Food was delicious. Mozzarella sticks were huge and the breading was superb. Fish and chips (2 piece) were worth the money and would satisfy the hungriest of appetites. The Bacon Jam Burger was awesome both in taste and quantity. The fries were delicious too. Service was great and friendly from the person who seated us to our server. Kudos to the owner in hiring such a dedicated and great staff. The ambiance was like stepping into a 1950s cafe. Music was enjoyable but not so load that you couldn't carry on a conversation. Well lit and lots of room between tables and booths. Highly recommend Eddie's for their food, service staff and location. read more

Atmosphere: this place was open, lots of space, old timey pictures on the wall of people like Elvis (love) and Marilyn Monroe. The booths were comfy and large. None of them felt like they were too close together and provided some privacy. It was a little dark in there, but not bad. Service: our server was fantastic! She was really on top of things! She checked on us the perfect amount, was kind, quick, and accommodating! Very happy with our service. Food: I got the 8oz sirloin and my friend got the Blackened Salmon. My steak had really great flavor, and was cooked medium rare just like I had asked! My only complaint was it was a tad tough and stringy. Still delicious though! My friend also really enjoyed her food. They have a great menu and lots of cocktail and beer options! I will definitely go back! read more

For Mother's Day, my Dad took me to lunch at Eddie's Kitchen & Tavern. The restaurant is clean, not a little noisy. I feel that their prices are great and I had one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have had in Spokane. My Dad's burger was HUGE! He really liked the fries that came with it. Definitely going back! read more

The food is amazing. They have a great Gluten Free menu. My friend that has Celiacs can eat there with no worries. I have tried the meals both ways, with and without gluten, and honestly think there is no difference, it's equally amazing. It's hard to get GF noodles and bread to taste delicious and they manage. I try something new each time we go and haven't been disappointed yet. Also, when you eat in, they have games and stuff so you can have fun while waiting for your food. read more

Highly recommend! Eddie's is awesome, food and service are above par, I dig it man! Even my kids love coming here, and the gluten free options are stellar! read more

We tried Eddie's Tavern over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent , and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about gluten‑free needs, which made the experience even better. I had mozzarella sticks for the first time in a long while, along with the fish and chips--everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back. read more

First time in was amazing. Food was delicious. Second time was just so-so. The Greek sandwich was super dry and flavorless. Disappointing. And the fries were WAY over-salted, we could hardly eat them.... Maybe everything on the menu isn't good like we thought? We will be back though... read more

Had lunch here for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed! Price, portions, service, quality, and flavors were all on point. Bonus, almost everything can be made GLUTEN FREE! I'm not talking, "here's a hamburger patty with a piece of lettuce to eat it with." I'm talking things are actually made gluten free and they're delicious! read more

Yesterday I recommended Eddie's Kitchen & Tavern for lunch with my mom and sister. My husband and I really liked the food when we went before and I knew the menu had enough variety they would like it as well. Mom ordered the fish and chips and couldn't stop raving about the house made chip/fries and gave them a 10 out of 10. She gave the cod a 8 she said it was fresh and good portions but a bit greasy. My sister had the Tuscan Pasta with steak. She gave the overall dish an 8 out of 10. She ordered the steak medium rare but it came out medium, honestly I would have sent it back but she said it was really good. I have been wanting to try their jalapeno peppers. But I didn't really want a whole lot else. So I ordered the jalapeno poppers and a side salad with blue cheese. I give the side salad a 10 out of 10. It was wonderful and I was pleasantly pleased they let me have a side salad with the jalapeno poppers. It was a good meal. I have to say that I was a frequent customer of Lost Boys, their previous restaurant and loved their "lug nuts" which is what I was hoping for when I ordered the jalapeno poppers. They were tasty but I would give them a five out of a 10 largely cuz I'm comparing it to something that I really loved. I shared them both with my sister and my mom and my sister loved them and would order them over and over again. My mom. She's not usually a jalapeno person so she said it was okay but not her favorite. Overall I really love this place and we will continue to come here. And I highly recommend it to anyone who wants tasty food on the north side in a pleasant atmosphere with decent prices. read more

Great prices, great wine selection. Service was just ok, one odd moment though. We ordered the cheese popper appetizer, they were awesome (not a fan of the sweet dipping sauce with the cheese but it was a good sauce on its own, we still ate it.) There was a stray Brussels sprout leaf in our cheese popper dish, and the staff member (I thought she was a host but she delivered our food so not sure of her role) checking on us noticed the leaf and picked up our appetizer dish (we were actually still eating it as it was still half full) and SHE DUG HER HANDS INTO THE FOOD! Then asked if we wanted a new order, we declined as our entrees just arrived, and she walked off with our half consumed appetizer. I probably would have still eaten the cheese if she hadn't done that, they were really good and who cared if a rogue Brussel leaf joined the party. It was just so bizarre. All that to say, good little restaurant, we want to come back and try the handhelds. We had a steak and a steak salad. read more

We've seen some recent social media comments about this new establishment and wanted to give it a go. First off, it is in the old Mac Daddy's location across from the Northpointe shopping area. There are about 20 parking spots outside that are easy to get in/out of. They don't have a permanent sign on the outside of the building quite yet. Inside there are a smattering four-up tables and some booths that very well might have lived a previous life in a Mexican restaurant. All of it was clean and tidy. The food: Moz sticks- super good and clearly made in house. The marinara is also made in house. A meal on their own. Meatball sandwich- My other half says this was super good with homemade meatballs. Love and care were put into the creation of this one. Signature Burger- Wow, this is one of the better burgers I've ever had. The bacon; oh my. The cheeses, sauce, seasonings, and perfectly cooked meat. So, so good. This was place was pretty empty the entire time we were here and it really surprised me. The quality is high and I think on par with some of the best locally owned restaurants in town. Maybe even pushing for a top spot. Pricing is on par with other eateries of the type. For certain we'll be making our way here often. read more

Food was pretty good, not great or it'd be a 5 star. Everything was just like lacking a little seasoning, otherwise was very good. Staff were friendly, service was fast and good. One issue, they have plaques at all tables talking about what they're about which is cool. One topic is "No Surprise Fees" which specifically states no fees for split-checks, SAUCES or little things to make you feel better. Yet when my bill came I had a .50 charge for "open table" which I was told for the 1 ranch I asked for to go with the app. Now .50 isn't a big deal, a lot of places charge nowadays and it is what it is. Just don't brag about not doing that n plaques at every table while actually doing it, that's dishonest. It's stupid things like that which make me not want to come back when I otherwise would be a returning customer. I hope they sort that because it's close and was pretty decent honestly. read more

My wife and I stopped in for dinner today, our first visit. This restaurant has only been open for a few weeks, everything inside is bright and clean. We were greeted by friendly staff; our beverages came right out. Mary had the daily special, a plate of spaghetti with meatballs, with fresh house-made marinara, fresh garlic bread, and an Italian salad. All the veggies on the salad were fresh and crisp, yummy. The meatballs appeared handmade and were good, the bread was standard. The house made marinara was more like tomato paste and lacked other flavors! I had The Philly, seasoned steak, peppers, onions, chipotle aioli, and pepper jack cheese. The roll was fresh and toasted, all the ingredients were fresh, the pepper jack added a little kick; very tasty. There were fresh cut fries on the side that were delicious. read more

We can't come here enough! The food, drinks and STAFF are top notch! And they have a fabulous GF menu as well.

The service was outstanding! We were greeted at the door as soon as we came in, then menus and waters were brought to our table. Our food arrived from the kitchen quickly after we ordered. Our server came back to our table frequently to check on the food, refill our water and see if we needed anything else. The food was fresh and super hot. I ordered the fish and chips. The chips were amazing! The potatoes are sliced about 1/4-inch thick and fried like french fries, then liberally salted. Soooo good! The fish was supposedly beer battered, but it didn't taste like it -- it was very plain tasting. The tartar sauce was more like a ranch dressing. I will choose a different menu item next time. The decor is uninspiring. The booths have edges that will hurt you if you try to slide in and out (I will have some bruises), and who wants to look at old black & white photos of 1950's movie stars? One other issue was the bill... we didn't find out until it arrived that there are two prices depending on how you plan to pay. One price for cash, a higher price if you are paying with a credit card. I know merchants pay a fee for credit card transactions, but this was a bait and switch at the end of the meal, i.e. cash prices are shown on the menu, then the total is upcharged if you pay by credit card. They should have shown credit card prices on the menu, then offered a discount for paying with cash. read more

Service was kind and prompt. Their menu had many GF options. We didn't need them, however we have family members and friends who do, so it was nice to see. It was strangely empty for a Friday night. The Mariners were on the TV so that was a plus. The food was mediocre. I consider it hard to wreck a burger, but this puck was overcooked and unseasoned. Not burned, just cooked until dry. The bacon was tasteless, which confused me because I could see it. Thin strips which had none of the joy your mouth expects from bacon. At this price, bacon quality needs to be seriously upgraded. The huckleberry sauce was thin and without actual berries and the cheese crumbles were scant. I remember being surprised by the single bite where I could taste the cheese. I had such high expectations for a specialty huckleberry burger treat only for it to come out tasting plain and unpleasant to chew. Overall it seemed like a burger made by a chef who actively dislikes cooking this particular menu item. The Caesar salad did have a zip with lots of dressing. I would like to see some cheese there as well. Wasn't fast food bad, but I wouldn't pay this much to be this disappointed again. read more

My friend and I tried this for the first time Friday night. We were both craving fish and chips. HANDS DOWN the BEST fish and chips I have ever had!!! Drinks were great! Beer choices fantastic! Dessert was delicious! (I had the black tie mousse cake). I will be returning to try other selections on their menu! I almost ordered the chicken pot pie....next time!! By the way, LOVE LOVE LOVE their potatoes!! Crispy on the outside and tender in!! Their whiskey sour was EXCELLENT!!! Oh, and I forgot to mention their coleslaw....i had to order a second on that!! Went to Eddie's for the first time tonight. Everything we ordered was great. I was super excited to see they had fried pickle spears. So many places have the pickle fries or pickle nickels, and the spears are vastly superior. The pulled pork flatbread was good. Their BBQ sauce is on the sweeter side - just an FYI (in case you prefer something else). You MUST try their fries. I've never had any like them before. So Good! I'll leave it at that since I don't even know what to call the style of them except yummy. We will be back for sure. There were so many other things we wanted to try on the menu. read more
