Nice local tap house. Food on the menu seems to change up with helps keep it fresh and unique. Ample seating inside and out. Even on hot days sitting on the outdoor patty isn't bad since the run cooling misters. Service was good, prompt and attentive without making you feel rushed.

Really like this place good beer variety also have a hard liquor and wine. Food is great.

Cute little Tap House. Friendly people and good selection of beers and drinks. They have a limited menu which is good. The Chef's burger was really good but the cheese curds lacked flavor. They should have been cooked longer to give them a crispy crust and salt then once cooked. They did come with a dipping sauce that was pretty good. I would recommend this place and plan to return.

Cool spot, lots of parking. We sat outside and they had some misters going on the hot day which made it much more enjoyable. Friendly service, Good food, cold beer and a red one to boot. It was a perfect lunch after a walk through Manito Park near by.

Food, service, and ambiance was absolutely amazing. We got the chef burger with an extra Kobe patty and a side of the soup of the day. Every part of it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend!

We had a great lunch at Manito Tap House! It wasn't very busy and the service was fast and friendly. The chef's burger and turkey burger were both delicious! The beer list is so long I can't imagine even the pickiest of drinkers not being able to find something to make them happy here. We sat by the bar but there also seemed to be quite a few families in the back so definitely a kid friendly spot as well!

Update time! What a great food place!! I absolutely love the curry wrap! Perfect amount of crunch from the cabbage and fabulous combination of flavors! Chicken was cubed and very good too. Nice patio, and if it's full, you can sit at a table by the open big doors and still feel quite safe. Service was awesome! So many choices for beer too. I had a sour prickly pear which was very refreshing!

It's always nice to hang out here. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. They always have a great beer selection that is well rounded from rich porters to blonde ales. They also have ciders, hefes, and lagers. You can always sample something you have your eye on as well. Great food menu. My husband and I stopped in for an afternoon beer and snack. We had the potato waffle fries with gorgonzola bacon sauce. Heaven! Their green chile macaroni is also delicious along with their burgers and salads. Definitely a tap house to add into your rotation!

Soup was great! Bread would of been better with butter.

Robbery in broad daylight, $20 for way too overly salted wings that are also raw inside. Very disappointed.

Thought since we were seated out of the way we would have slow service, but that was not the case. Our server was quick, knowledgeable and very attending. I had a side of fries instead of hash browns and it turned it into a perfect brunch meal. Check out my photo. We will be stopping back for another breakfast for sure ...it's in the way home

Very cute building and very welcoming atmosphere. Not too busy early on a Saturday, but it quickly filled up. The four of us in our party were seated right away and immediately greeted with menus and coffee. Very friendly staff and our coffee was never cold! Menu was typical for a breakfast and lunch place and not overly complicated. Our order was taken and delivered quite quickly and the food was piping hot. Eggs were cooked perfectly as were the hashbrowns. Omelette was stuffed full and delicious. Pancakes were fresh and fluffy. One of the things that I particularly noticed was the cleanliness of this place. Sometimes, when a business has been around for a while, it just can get neglected. Cobwebs in corners, dust on light fixtures, etc., but not here! It is apparent that they take great pride in keeping a clean dining room. Definitely would recommend and definitely will be going back!

Honestly, Wooden City really lives up to its hype. It's an upscale spot right in downtown Spokane,…read morebut still feels warm and lively instead of overly formal. Definitely one of the best-quality restaurants in the city, where every dish was thoughtfully made and packed with flavor. What we ordered: Starters: - Spring Salad: Super fresh and well-balanced. The snap peas were crisp, with strawberries added for sweetness, and the goat cheese + pistachios gave it a creamy, nutty contrast. The lemon & tarragon vinaigrette tied everything together with a light, herby flavor. - Jerk Cauliflower: Crunchy cauliflower with Caribbean spices with a creamy jerk sauce, good as a side Appetizers: - Peel 'n' Eat Shrimp: Really juicy and spicy from the Cajun spice. There's butter to dip in but I found it too greasy and prefer lemon instead. - Blistered Hungarian Peppers: Smoky pepper with some sweetness and savory from the sausage and cheddar. Served with a toasted focaccia that soak up all the sauce. Main dishes: - Chicken Schnitzel: One of the must-orders. Crispy, golden breading, super tender inside. The lemon & caper butter sauce added acidity and richness that elevated the whole dish. Yoy have to order extra because it's never enough for the table. Yes, it's that good. - Marbled Duroc Pork Chop: Another favorite . Juicy and tender, with 'nduja salsa brava bringing a spicy depth, while lemon tahini and marcona almonds added creaminess and crunch. I always missed tasting this dish like my first time - Beet Ravioli: Earthy and slightly sweet flavor, nice texture but I hate goat cheese so I'm not really a fan of this dish - Pesto Bacon Pizza: Delicious crunch, loved the combo of mozzarella and gorgonzola, kind of creamy with a bit of funk. Balsamic do help balance and gave it a sweet tangy flavor, or else it would be too heavy for me (yes, not a pizza fan) Drinks & Dessert - Not Mai Tai mocktail: very aesthetically looking drink, but a bit too sweet to my liking - Apple crisp: cozy and warm, with baked apple & pecan crumble and served with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious ice cream. - Pumpkin cheesecake: My 3rd favorite of the night, I still dream about it!! Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, you shouldn't skip this!!! That said, I do have to take away a couple points for timing. Our foods took 45 mins to come out even though I had reservations and note the menu items via the email, and the wait time between each dish was also... very confusing. It broke the flow of our meal. But once the food hit the table, it was hard to stay mad, so I forgave them.

I feel like I just went to a dress rehearsal about a play about a group of friends who got together…read moreand said "How about we open a restaurant? That would be fun!" Tonight was just so strange. First, I had no idea who was an employee. There were two girls that were going around together over and over, they kept stopping at tables so I think they worked there...but they never had anything in their hands. Our server seemed to keep forgetting we were there. Or just forgetting she was employed in general. Seriously just not with it. She was very nice...when she remembered we were there. I will say the pizza crust tasted amazing. So many places that serve pizza think of the crust as just something to put toppings on, but this had great flavor. Sadly, it was rolled too thin and said toppings made it somewhat soggy. Caesar salad was ok. Romaine was really fresh and crisp and the homemade croutons were still a little warm. Very good. However, the dressing was rather bland. And when I asked for pepper for it, our waitress first had it in her head that I expected some kind of peppers on my salad. When she finally understood I meant black pepper, she went away. Eventually she returned. Not with a pepper grinder or a shaker, but a sauce bowl that had about 3 tablespoons of black pepper in it. I wouldn't use that much pepper if I cooked for myself for a week and used it with every dish. Had to ask for knives for some of people's meals. I will say the spicy lamb rigatoni was amazing, pasta just right and the sauce and flavor was peak. I am just not sure what to say, other than this was the strangest and most disorganized dining experience I have ever had. I think if a grown up showed up and brought the kids into line, this place would be amazing. Also, for what we paid, I expected to be wowed, not left wondering what I just experienced.

Every time I've been in, the staff has been warm, attentive, and somehow manages to make you feel like you matter without hovering. This place gives "the place you go where everybody knows your name," not "exclusive secret society," but okay. As for the food allegedly being "frozen junk"... I would LOVE to know what freezer is producing meals this fresh and this good because I'd like one installed in my kitchen immediately. I just found out they make their own cheese. Everything I've had has been thoughtful, flavorful, and clearly made by people who actually care. I have quite literally planned my day around my dinner tonight. Zero regrets. Also, moldy fruit? Stale buns? Be serious. If anything, I've had the opposite problem of trying to pace myself because everything tastes like it came out five minutes ago. What actually stands out about Remedy is the atmosphere. It feels like somewhere you want to linger. It's one of those rare spots that still feels human, not corporate, and that's probably why people keep coming back. Anyway, if this place is secretly a "private social club," then I guess I'm honored to have accidentally earned membership through the radical act of enjoying good food and kind service. 10/10. Will continue to return, bask, and eat my weight in food. Sorry to be snarky, but I have a real problem with people that nitpick and leave exaggerated reviews just to be that person. There was only one server upstairs, he was nice but a bit overwhelmed because he had to be running up and down, so he was managing 4-5 tables alone, so everything took a bit longer, but he was pleasent and we weren't missing anything. I was mostly underwhelmed by the food. I think, I just thought it would be better. The chili verde is one of the most expensive things on the menu and was kinda mid. Just really not much flavor, and the rice was overcooked by about a million. I really wished I had picked something else. We also had the wings and they were also kinda just ok. I guess I just expected it to be a bit better when you look at the menu. I had higher hopes for a nice place on Southhill, but the food and cocktails kind of let it down. Excellent location and nice servers and staff though doing the best they can.

But this restaurant is very pricey for inconsistent food. We've been twice now- didn't love it enough the first time but wanted to give it a second chance. The lemon pasta was divine the first time- but my carbonara was unflavored paste- I literally thought I had COVID and lost the ability to taste food but everyone else's food tasted good so that theory didn't hold up. This time I ordered the lemon pasta and instead of creamy, delightful and tasty it was a little bland and watery. The waitress "fixed it " by offering me more Parmesan to thicken it. I'd added prawns- they were nice. My companion ordered the veal parm- the tomato sauce wasn't amazing and the breading was a bit heavy. He wasn't impressed and didn't finish the dish. The risotto was just OK. Again, it's very pricey for just OK. The food isn't trash but if you've had great food you don't want to pay so much for just ok. We would rather spend the money at Luna or Francaise or Wooden City. Dessert was yummy. The first time we went we arrived first seating and it looked like the AARP theater crowd, the last night we went seemed like a galantine's preview! So if you're there for the drinks, appetizers and ambiance it's quite nice. I can't endorse it whole heartedly because the entree's weren't consistently good enough to give the full 5 stars. Service was fine and we tipped accordingly. Good luck!
