Based on the website it looked like a decent place to grab a burger and a brews. But the Litz's described on the website and the Litz's we experienced appear to exist in different timelines. We weren't asked if we wanted menus and there was no sign of the kitchen being staffed at all. So we got a couple pints, took them to the far corner of the patio and watched what appeared to be a Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me cosplay group doing shots while talking loudly about how they were doing shots. Then we went to a dive bar for some dinner. Litz's may be the only place I've been to that's dived so deep I can't count it as a dive. read more

Came in for an afternoon mimosa or two and was met with the sweetest bartender named Bonnie! Service was great and the food was super good too. Will for sure come back in to check out the rest of the menu and enjoy more of the local patrons. read more

Came here for lunch with my sister and elderly mom. We checked out the menu online and it seemed to have a lot of choices to include salads. We arrived around 2pm. We told the bartender we wanted menus. She said it wouid be about 10 minutes to cook because she was just turning on the grills and fryer. When she brought us the menu it was a paper menu with just a few items on it. I questioned her about it, and she said they shortened the menu since Covid but that's not true because I was in there nine months before and they had a full menu. She told me that all of the other customers are satisfied with this menu. I thought that was a little bit rude and so we just finished our drink and left. Probably won't be back. read more

And then there was....Litz's. I love this joint. We've only stopped here for lunch over the decades, being Cheney residents, but I will tell you that they're a far, far step above your typical sports bar food. We have made them a destination for all family members over 21. Their Reuben is top tier for our metro, and the reason I must visit when the opportunity presents itself. Sadly, in some local rags (Spokesman Review/Inlander, cough, cough) their Reuben never makes the cut for best of Spokane, etc. Darned shame. Regardless, this joint has salt of the earth locals enjoying the bar, and groups of middle-aged hipster couples--and all with smiles and laughter. The place is cleaner than you might think when looking at it from the outside, and I attribute that to the nice ladies that I've met over the years that work here. My in-laws always ask to swing by for lunch when they visit, as well. It's a unique place, and I sincerely hope we enjoy a Reuben here for decades to come... read more

Let's go zero stars. I came into this place several years ago and it was pretty fun. I was in the neighborhood this past fall and figured I'd stop for lunch, a beer, and watch a bit of NFL. I was very disappointed. The place is trashed. Looks like a hoarder runs it, boxes and junk just stored out in the open, even on the bar. Food was far from enjoyable. People blasting the Jukebox while several others are trying to watch football. Music so loud you can't have a conversation. Want a drink? Be prepared to wait forever as the bartenders carry on talking to pull tab players while making food and drink service a very low priority. Bathrooms are very dirty and smelly. Floors dirty. Tables sticky. Not a place that I'd recommend to anyone. However, I decided to give it one more try since I did enjoy my first time. Third experience was worse than the second. Trash! Now they don't even really have a menu (Eatery??? Ha!) and good luck getting the staff to cook what little food they do offer or even take drink orders. Pull tabs are king apparently. Gonzaga bar? Hardly. They were running loud crappy live music while GU was playing in a tournament. There are much better venues in close proximity, so do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. read more

Can I give it zero stars? I've been to litz on multiple occasions, each time being let down. The bartenders are rude and arragant. One spent the night flirting with a customer and the other was just lazy. Both were very clearly intoxicated. I don't understand how this business stays afloat. Openly doing drugs were customers can see? This place should honestly be investigated. read more

Favorite dive bar! You will find people from all walks of life there. No dirty looks for what you play on the jukebox or for ordering two margaritas at 2pm. They've been slowly but surely doing some remodeling and it is looking very nice so far. The patio in the summertime is my absolute favorite. The volleyball pit is a blast and never gets awkwardly competitive, and they usually have corn hole and a few hulahoops laying around. In The winter time they have fire pits, so you don't have to smoke in the cold. I've only had their nacho style fries and holy crap those are delicious. The drinks are always nice, strong but not undrinkable just how I like it LOL, and always a good price. Even though we're not there every week the bartenders always remember us and treat us like family. Can't wait to go back. THANK YOU LITZ FOR STAYING AWESOME! read more

I haven't gone to this bar in a couple year but decided to go here with a bunch of my girlfriends and my boyfriend and a couple of his friends recently. Stephanie served us and she was awesome. There was another guy bartending and he was okay, the guy that brought me my food was awesome though. Food was decent for bar food. My friends and I had some issues with a "regular" who kept saying it was his bar and even told me to go ahead and call the manager cause she would be on his side. This guy even got in my face after threatening to hurt one of my friends. Stephanie told the male bartender he needed to talk to his friend as this wasnt the first time. We all ended up leaving due to this one guy and went to a bar we felt safe at. We later heard, but dont know if it's TRUE, that stephanie complained to the manager about this same guy then quit. I do not know if that's true or if the circumstances were related but due to the entire experience none of us will be back. I feel bad for stephanie as she was a great bartender. read more

Litz's is a fun atmosphere. I like the eclectic decor. The tall ceilings and open feel. We can play pool or shuffle board. Its also fun to bang the volleyball in pick up games in their outdoor area complete with outdoor music pumping on the speakers. read more

Absolutely the worst lunch place in Spokane. To start, my iced tea was water- the waitress/ server said that she had made a great sun tea "yesterday " but someone must have added water to it( no, can I get you something different.)The " homemade " onion rings were burnt beyond recognition and when pointed out the waitress/ server said " I'm sorry". Spokane had a huge windstorm 3 days before our visit. Lots of places had no power and we were just looking for some breakfast and a warm place to be. When we walked in we were very warmly welcomed because they had just gotten their power back and were really happy to have our business. They were just setting up and we were the first people in the door. Apparently they only normally serve breakfast on Sunday and our visit was on a Friday but the cook came out and told us he would cook us anything we wanted. So my brother ordered a ham and cheese omelet with potatoes and toast, I ordered bacon and eggs with potatoes and toast. We both had a mimosa. The food was quick, fresh, hot, and probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! The bacon was amazing! The cook (Brandon? Sorry... I'm terrible with names) took our order, cooked it, and even served it to us... He was great! I had only been here one other time and had lunch and it was also very good. I was very impressed by the hospitality and the eagerness to make us happy. Great place! read more
